    Best Kyoto Experience”

    This hotel is located a block or within 3 minutes walking distance from Kyoto Station. We purchased the JR Kansai West and was able to use it since the hotel's excellent location. We fell in love with Kyoto and everyday spent there was worth it. We didn't get the breakfast package but since the hotel is very near the main train station there are so many places to have your meals. Also there is a 7/11 across the street. The hotel also has its own coffee shop and restaurant. We had a King size bed. And although the room is small (expect that in Japan) it had everything we wanted. The staff was very helpful. All you need: shampoo, shaver, tooth brush, hair comb, cotton buds, wash cloth is all provided. We definitely recommend this hotel and if we do come back we will return here.

    A Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement”

    I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The bed was spacious and very comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job replenishing amenities such as towels and cups daily. The TV also had streaming capabilities, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. However, I would like to highlight an area for improvement: the check-in process. I booked a stay for 5 days and 4 nights, with two separate bookings—one for the first 3 nights for 1 person, and the fourth night for 2 people. Despite having fully paid and confirmed my bookings, I had to wait several minutes to check in. This delay was due to my request to stay in the same room throughout my stay to avoid checking out and then checking back in. Many guests are tired upon arrival, and a faster, more efficient check-in process would be greatly appreciated.

    Travel in Groups”

    The hotel is only walk away from the Kyoto Station which so convenient for travelers who are new at the place. We arrived early and thankfully they have this service where you can leave your luggage at the hotel with no charge and be back on the check in time. The hotel was nice. I just have a little concern with the cleanliness. It seems that after most of the hotels outsourced their hotel cleaning staffs the maintenance of cleanliness is a little off. I’ve had stayed in other APA hotels too way back years ago and it’s excellent . Although they have public bath, for those who are not fun of it would choose to take a shower and hot tub. But the bathtub itself looks dirty. It looks like no one even bother to clean the tub and even the exhaust fan was full of dust. For a high end hotel you would expect perfections right? In the morning, the cleaning staff would do their daily routine cleaning rooms, however, all the linens are scattered along the hall way. 😅 Yes, you have pathway that you may not step on it but c’mon 😅 In any case that someone is infected it will be easily transferred to anyone.
