I booked the hotel at the last minute on Agoda.com but our check in was fast. We appreciate the staff at the reception although their English was limited. Hotel location was ideal as there are train stations within 5-10 mins walk. Room was cleaned every 3rd day but the supplies of clean yukata, towels, paper cups, toiletries and beverages are placed in a bag at our door daily! There’s a vending machine for drinks and 2 microwave on the 4th floor for guests’ use. I only wish there were cutleries and bowls/plates in the room.

It is one of the APA hotels, so the minimum standard is there. Clean rooms, but the sizes are a bit on the smaller side. The infotainment system is displayed on the television which is helpful and convenient. There are even some cultural etiquette video clips for foreign travellers presented in the comedic fashion. Staff were helpful and polite. I opted for the breakfast buffet this time but would skip it if I were to stay there again. It has some pastries and warm foods, mostly East Indian curry and sauces, which I would prefer to have later in the day. It is a short walk to convenient shops and subway station, so that wouldn’t be a deal breaker overall.

Room is of great quality - well designed to make the stay comfortable. Location is superb. Just a station away from Nagoya Station. Across the street there is a supermarket called VDrug that opens till 11pm so you could make your last minute shopping. Nearby Delicia Kitchen offers tasty bento and bread and reasonably priced. Museum of Science and planetarium is just few minutes walk away.

The hotel is a few minutes away from Fushimi subway. There’s a Family Mart nearby and some restaurants if you go hungry! I have no complaints with the hotel. I love that there’s an ice machine and microwave that we can use anytime. Thank you, APA!!! We will always come back.

The location is fantastic making it easy to access public transportation and easy to explore nearby attractions and shopping area. The cleanliness of the room was impressive, and the staff provides excellent services throughout the stay. The check in and check out were seamless.
