A bit disappointed at the hotel and the price i paid
This review is for APA Castle Sakae. Hotel located in the red light district. Beacreful if you are travelling alone at night. The hotel is a bit run down, a bit dirty compare to japanese standard. The hotel parking was full so i need to park my car down the street. Staff of nice and helpful. But i will not return to this hotel.

Value for money
10min walk away from the stations and mall A bit confusion when you drive to the hotel as it doesn't have a drop off spot (pretty much the same apply to the hotels in Nagoya)

Small Room & Not Clean
The room is horribly small compared to others. We need to squeeze and nobody can move if the bathroom door is open. The room condition is old and the bathroom is not clean.

Decent hotel, great value, area smells
Recently stayed there for a night. About a 15 minute walk to the station. Great value as I stayed on a Sunday for under $50. It's definitely in the Red Light district area with plenty of buy me girl bars, karaoke and massage parlors. You'll see touts loitering the area. As I went to grab some items at the local convenient store the morning of checkout, as I was walking back, I realized how nasty the streets smelled. For the price, I would consider returning back because I was there just to sleep, rest and shower. Would recommend if you're looking to save but I would choose another hotel near the main street if you're getting it for a similar price.

Convenient place, but quite noisy at night
Nearby has lots of small restaurants. But also lots of drunk people at night downstairs, so quite noisy if you like to sleep while opening the window. But if you close, it is fine. People in the front office are helpful although they just provide limited english.
