Hotel location from Osaka JR Station: After asking several people and failing to find the hotel location, I went outside and after wandering around for about 40 minutes, a young couple helped me find it. Of course, if I visit again, I think I can easily find it without any problems. It took about 12 minutes to walk to the hotel from Osaka Station. After the first day, there were no problems finding the hotel and it was enjoyable to walk around, so the location was not a big issue. CHECK-IN: It was my first time doing self-check-in, so I was a little nervous, but I called a staff member and they helped me. I am grateful to the staff member who kindly helped me. The system was very convenient and quick, so I can only give it high marks. Hotel Bath: There is a public bath located on the 4th floor that can be used for free. My wife used the bath every morning and evening for 5 days and was so satisfied with the water quality, interior facilities, and bath temperature that she didn't want to leave. It was also great that the number of people in the bath was displayed on a monitor in the room, so we could avoid crowded times. Many people praised the bath as well. Restaurant: The quality and variety of the food were good for the price, and it was nice that coffee was available for takeout. I would like to thank the staff for their friendly and smiling service. Hotel Room: The room was typically small for Japan, and my wife expressed some dissatisfaction, but she didn't say anything the next day, so I think she got used to it. I didn't have any problems because I had visited Japan before. It was very nice to return to a clean room every day after sightseeing, and I would like to thank the cleaning staff for their hard work. Transportation to Nearby Attractions from the Hotel: Hotel-Kyoto: Easy access by JR train, and we enjoyed sightseeing and food during the round trip. Hotel-Mishima: It took 2 hours and 10 minutes by Shinkansen from Osaka Station. After getting off at Mishima Station, we took a free shuttle bus called "Seseragi-go" and enjoyed a hot bath in the natural hot spring water at "Gokurakuyu." It was nice to see my wife enjoying the Shinkansen train ride for the first time. We spent quite a bit of money on transportation, though. Hotel-Osaka Castle: We took a train that runs inside Osaka Castle and then walked around the castle outside. Many people were jogging in the morning and there were many families enjoying a day out. The line to see the inside of the castle was too long, so we gave up, but it was nice to walk around the wide roads outside the castle. Check-out: It was a great idea by someone to have a box to put the room key in, so we didn't have to wait in line and could leave the hotel right away. Overall, I would definitely like to visit APA Hotel again.

This building is 34 stories high and I'm living super comfortably here! It's only a ten-minute walk to the JR station, which is super convenient. There's also a Lawson convenience store and washing machines on the fourth floor, which makes my stay even more comfortable. Although the soundproofing isn't great, I live on the 19th floor and sometimes hear the sound of big cars or ambulances on the street, but it doesn't affect my overall impression of this place. The amenities here are complete and thoughtful. There are nine elevators, but when there are a lot of people, you may have to wait for more than five minutes. However, considering the cheap price, I still think it's worth living here and I sincerely recommend it to everyone.

A Truly Amazing Place”
Knowing nothing of Osaka or Hotels to stay based on reviews and location we booked a 5 night stay in the APA Hotel & Resort Osaka Umeda Eki Tower. From the moment of check in, we knew it was going to be great. We are planning to return in November 2025 and will try and get the same hotel, The Hotel is located in central Osaka and near the Umeda Metro Station and main Osaka Train Stations. Its location is perfect. Check in is all electronic and very simple. We arrived at midnight and were immediately assisted by one of the Hotel Staff and quickly made it to our room. The room was perfectly formed with everything we needed for our stay. The bathroom was exceedingly well provisioned with high quality consumables including face towels, toothbrushes and toothpaste, hair brushes, disposable razors, hair bands,, there was nothing left to want for. The bath was a sit in bath with a Bollina Micro-bubble Shower Head. The bed was super comfortable and the linen high quality. The hotel has everything you can dream of. On-site Massage which is easy to book using the internal phone, access to the public baths. Tattoos must be covered out of respect for others and they provide covers for you. A 24/7 convenience store with everything you need from sweets, to snacks, hot / cold foot, cold / hot drinks, deoderant, ice cream the list is endless and the price is the same as out in the street. We took full advantage of this. There is a cocktail bar and two restaurants. We actually had a buffet dinner on our second night as we had been out walking all day. The selection and quality was excellent. The staff were so attentive and helpful. The Japanese know how to provide a service and AO A Hotel and Resort Osaka Umeda Eki Tower is no exception. Certainly the best hotel experience I have ever had whether travelling for business or leisure. We hope to return and aim to book the same place if available. Pretty good value for money”
This is a fairly big hotel on a very busy road. That said, you are spayed the noise and chaos from the streets and alleys that surround this property. The walking directions from Umeda Station on Google Maps were very confusing and I ended up walking outside on the streets. If you pay close attention to the exit number, there's a shorter way to cut across the subway station and then exit onto the street right behind the hotel. It's a much shorter walk as I discovered a day later. Both bag drop and checkin processes were automated, quick, efficient, and easy with minimal involvement of staff. The room was small of course (seems like most hotel rooms in Japan are small) but at least I was able to open my suitcase on the floor (couldn't even do that at another hotel!). If you plan to stay here, I recommend you do not bring anything larger than a 24" suitcase. I had a 28" and it was super challenging to make room for. The bathroom was tiny but very clean and comfortable. Showerhead was an absolute delight. Breakfast runs from 0630-1400 hours! Excellent spread with Japanese and continental options and several beverages. The onsen at the property was delightfully welcoming. Such a nice convenience to not have to step out in search of one when you're tired from the day. Osaka is a lot larger than Kyoto (which had several onsens that are easy to reach). There's a Lawson convenience store right in the hotel for all your essentials. The only downsides are that the nearest subway stations are at least 10-15 mts away (it takes time to just get into the station!) and the streets around the hotel get a bit raucous.

Good comfortable Stay”
Good and comfortable stay. Room is small but it’s normal for Japan and it’s cosy and has the standard amenities. It’s about a 10-15min walk to Osaka station. There is a food street and great drinking and bbq spots in the vicinity. Kombini is adequate nearby. The hotel has a public bath split between gender on the 4th floor. There are ice machines, microwave and vending machines on a couple floors. 4th floor also has a paid laundromat. ¥500 per wash and ¥100 per 30 mins dryer. I guess the stay was great and the only gripe I had was the wait for the lifts during peak period due to the huge number of rooms.
