The location was very ideal as it was just a few corners away from Odori Park and Tanukikoji shopping street. Room was cleaned daily and staff were accommodating and friendly.

Value for money in Sapporo”
Apa hotels are so many in Japan and also in Sapporo. This one maybe not the best but offer the best price. Staying here several times and the location is quite nice, near with both Odori Park and Tanukikoji shopping street.

Good for travelers on a budget”
Pros: - Tanukikoji shopping street is just round the corner. - Breakfast was nice with local produce/dishes like the Hokkaido potatoes & Crab miso soup (Gun Soup). - The bed was comfortable and clean. Cons: - The deco looked a bit old and the room was rather dim, especially the bathroom. - The window was facing an opposite building so the curtain had to be kept closed for privacy. Overall: - great price for the standard

Great Location”
We visited for the snow festival. This hotel was a great location to the park. Breakfast was decent. Most of the food was only room temperature vs hot. Staff was courteous & helpful. Only 5 min walk to airport limo.

Good location but needs better wifi!”
Great location in central Sapporo, just be the west end of Tanukikoji with many restaurants nearby. Room is exactly what you'd expect from a Japanese business hotel. My only complaint is it needs better wifi - maybe mine was bad because I was on the 9th floor but it was a bit annoying having to reconnect/restart to get good reception. I haven't had this in other APA hotels.

I felt bad upon check in maybe because I came from a tiring flight yet the check in was at 3 pm. I think the room was ready but the front desk staff told me to charge me 1000yen for early check in.

Some room floors had a not very good smell (seems from carpet). The installations is not very new. But it is very well localized and it has parking for 1200 yen per night for guests (which is better than the outside options). And it has all the amenities from APA (except slippers).

Practical and cheap”
Nothing fancy, it is practical and cheap. Except for the parking that is 50% of the room price for the night. It smells cigarette in every public space. Do people smoke in the lobby like old times ?

The hotel was nice, provide everything needed, a bit far from stations (compared to other hotels), but still reachable Facilities was ok, for us it was enough, but some free bottled water would be nice. some improvement needed maybe in term of security, can use card rather than key.

the filthiest hotel ever stayed in Japan ”
first thing, we didn't request to book smoking room but somehow we were given a smoking room. the whole floor is full of smoking smell that is suffocating. next, the room is old and yellowish probably due to guest's smoking. the carpet is disgusting with full of stains , black, brown . the hotel doesn't bother to clean it at all. all the furniture is very old and has wear and tear here and there. bed is too soft with lousy spring. toilet bowl flush noise is deafening. I dare not to flush in the morning when others are still sleeping. the bath tub is not cleaned carefully. the shower curtain even has smell of urine. I rinsed it with some shower lotion by myself to make it clean. this service standard is so unacceptable in Japan. location wise, it is very near to kanuki koji. we regret to choose this hotel although it seems quite popular in many cities.

wanted to check in and stood in front of the front staff. Somehow, the guy at the front just paused and stared at me for like 30 seconds. WHY DIDN'T HE SIMPLY ASK WHAT HE WANT? this made me look stupid. Room was tidy but when i was taking a bath, I smelled something from water.

Old hotel renovation is due.. Not coming back ”
Very old facilities, mattress wasn't good, bathroom too small, dirty walls with holes in it, old carpet and so on.. Changed my three days reservation for two and went to another hotel afterwards... Would not go back, found other hotel, brand new, better room and cheaper.. On the good side is close to all the shops and odori park
