affordable business hotel”
Rooms are what you'd expect from a business hotel in Tokyo, a tight fit and minimalist but functional. In room, there is an empty fridge to keep snacks and an electric kettle/thermos seemed big for the room, particularly given the single green tea bag provided. The mattress was unusually soft for Asia. Its location is convenient, as nearby Shimbashi Station is a direct shot on the train from Narita (allow a good 90 minutes for the journey though, plus waiting time for the train). The hotel is less than a five-minute walk from the Karasumori exit of the station (turn left following the train tracks until you get to the next to the last street before the main road, then turn right) and is also surrounded by other subway stops on various lines. The immediate vicinity is quiet though there are several Family Marts and similar corner shops very nearby. The neighborhood also offers a selction of restaurants. I had lunch at the sushi bar (immediately to the left of the main entrance) and found my chirashi tasty. The hotel's own restaurant offers an early evening food and drink deal (two snack sized plates and two drinks) for Y800. I booked this hotel on Agoda and the price compared favorably with similar properties. However, you should note that Agoda's claim of in-room wifi – the detail that sold me on the hotel as I had work to do on this trip - is incorrect. They only offer wired LAN connections in room, and wifi on the ground floor (there are only two armchairs in the small reception area). This hotel caters almost exclusively to Japanese clients so just about everything (instructions for video on demand, phone calls, the internet, the menu of the hotel restaurant, the hotel's business cards, the coin operated washing machine) seems to be posted only in Japanese. Front desk staff I spoke to were shy about their English but were helpful a

Great hotel”
this hotel is really great. the rooms are small, sure, but for the price it's completely fine. there's more than enough room to be comfortable. the service is great. not a lot of english, but the front desk went out of their way to help me find my way around. the only drawback to this hotel is that there is no subway/metro station within a block or two. the shimbashi station is five-ten minutes' walk away, which puts you on the convenient yamanote line. the centre of ginza is twenty minutes' walk away. i wound up taking some taxis late at night, but was happy for the walking the rest of the time. other hotels seemed generally closer to transit.

Nice stay at the APA Hotel Shimbashi-Onarimon”
Another good stay at the APA Hotel in Sh-Or. Great location for three train stations. Easy to get to Downtown Tokyo and Roppongi. Room is good but a bit small. Soft bed. Good value for the money paid.

Thank you for your staying. As you say, the hotel has good access to the metropolitan area and receives favorable opinions from many customers. With regard to the room, it is compact, but we are making space to make you feel comfortable. We are waiting for you to come again. Best regards, Front Sato
a little bit expensive,”
I think Apa Hotel Shnbashi Onarimon is a little bit expensive considering the distance from JR station and the facility.9000-10000yen is proper price. But staffs are very kind and polite and positive attitude.

Very nice hotel, but a bit of a walk”
The hotel was a little further from the station than I expected. But overall, it is a very nice hotel & very new. The rooms are a bit small, but then again, so are most rooms in Tokyo. But it has what is needed for a short stay & the staff is very helpful. Not far from shops & restaurants.

Great economy hotel with convenient location ”
We missed our flight and had to find a hotel. APA was conveniently located close to the subway and we were able to take a train from Haneida airport easily. Basic, clean, efficient. We missed breakfast there due to flight schedules but looked really good

Small but functional”
My friend and I booked a double non smoking room. The hotel also said that 6th to 15th floor are non-smoking floor. However, everytime we entered the room, it smelled like smoke. Room is very very small, hard to open two medium suitcases without bumping to each other. Pillow is flat. Bed was made in the morning, but was lacking. Amenities are complete. Location is quite a walk from Shimbashi station. There are convenient stores nearby. The walk from station to hotel is filled with izakayas and adult bars that are not child friendly.

Clear Cut Buisness Hotel”
We stayed at this hotel as we could not find any other accommodation. The Hotel is a new building from the large Japanese hotel franchise APA. The hotel was exactly as expected and on this note there was not complaints. Small but efficiently organised room, very clean, efficient check in, vending machines in lobby. Hotel is 5 min walk from excellent Chiba restaurant district so I would not waste time on the hotel food. Solid 12min walk to Shinabashi Station 20min if you walk slowly. I would recommended this hotel chain again after looking for a hotel in a better location for sight seeing. There are note many sights in this area.

Clean and friendly hotel”
Close (walking distance) from the train station. It is walkable to the main area for going out in Tokyo and experiencing the night life that this friendly city has to offer. Being so close to the train station it is easy to get to and from the airport or if wanting to experience some of the cultural sites its easy access via the trains

Nice Hotel , ecvellent service but small rooms”
The hotel was the best I have tried in Tokyo. Staff at the reception were so nice and gave a homely feeling. Really Impressed.

Great Location”
Hotel lists English and Japanese. However, I found that anything other than booking, checking in, and bag checking was impossible in English. The staff could not answer my question of whether the water was "potable." "Can I drink the water from the sink/faucet?" is a basic question you must be able to answer if you advertise as an English speaking hotel. Also they did not understand the words "pillow and blanket." Great location, small room (the smallest I've ever stayed in), expensive at $250 dollars a night, but hey, that's supply and demand for you. I was glad to get a room when everyone else was booked. Check in time of 3pm was enforced. They are Eco-friendly. Amazing views from the 10th-15th floors. I could see Tokyo Tower from my tenth floor room.

Good Service. Soft Bed.”
Overall it was a nice stay, with the staff speaking pretty good English and kindly offering help whenever needed. One issue for me was that the bed was too soft. It was far from what I'm used to, so I was having backaches during my daytime walking in the city of Tokyo. Also, I felt the desk didn't really have to be that long. I'm fine with just a small desk in exchange for larger spare space in the room.

Convenient ”
It's like 600m away from Shimbashi station but it was very convenient from Shimbashi station. Many routes are direct and simple.

Modern and clean. A little isolated.”
The hotel is great. Clean and modern. I booked it because it is in Shimbashi on the circle line (so it was central to where I wanted to go). It is a great location, but if you don't like walking any distance then it may be too far from the station for you. If you will be taking taxis everywhere then it is fine. Overall, I would stay there again.
