Very nice hotel; excellent price”
This was an excellent, clean hotel. Everyone in our group was very pleased with the rooms. There were many nice extras for the price, such as the free spa/Onsen tickets. Additionally, it was located right by the Katamachi bus stop on the Kanazawa city loop, perfect for sight seeing and easy access. Will stay here again!

Big rooms and good hotel in tourist area”
The hotel does not stick out: there is a small entrance squeezed between a number of shops. The rooms are big and above averagely nice. Separate toilet and bathroom, plus free access to a really nice onsen (on 14F, great view) 20 meters away at the other APA hotel. No breakfast, but plenty of cheap places around (e.g. German bakery even).

Strategic location with very spacious room”
We had a good stay in this hotel, which looks very much like an apartment with microwave except with no laundry. The APA hotel is just across the road where we can park our car with a parking fee and also use the onsen facility. It is right in the city with shopping, restaurants and quite near to Omicho Market.

Kanazawa was a fabulous city to visit loads on offer to see and do hotel was in the center ,the room was big and bathrooms good size for westerners ,so close to attractions u can walk or get bus u can use jr bus for free with rail pass or buy local travel pass

The hotel was very well located and good value.”
The rooms on the main street do not keep out the strret noise, which kept me up most of our first night. We switched to a room off of the main street for the second night and it was fine. The hotel is well appointed and large rooms by japanese standards. It is well located in the heart of the city and waliking distance to most sights/gardens and shopping. So long as you do not get a room on the main street, this hotel will be a real value for the money. Hotel staff were friendly but their English was fairly limited.

perfect! the location, the room, everything. it is not brand new but a very spacious room with entrance hall (good with baby stroller!) and a separate bathroom and toilets. big area with sink, fridge and microwave too so it is possible even to cook! couldn’t ask for more...

If you enjoy SPA facility then this hotel is a NO! NO!”
The location of the Hotel is superb but having to go across the busy street to have breakfast & SPA in another building was awful experience. The SPA hot water pools indoor/outdoor were old & covered with black stain. The SPA does not provide towel, hotel robes, shaver etc so you need to bring all by yourself.

Communication barrier as the receptionist can't speak English, parking is ¥1400 and we have to park few blocks away, there's convenient shop nearby, room was spacious for Japan standard with separate toilet and bath, there's a microwave oven in the room.
