Location is good, easy to locate. Just 5-7 mins walk from Toyama station. Room is clean and neat! Slightly small but bed is comfy, big tv screen. Right outside the entrance is yoshinoya, delicious and cheap food for 24/7!

Good location”
Overall it was quite a good stay for me spending 2 days at this hotel. Everything is rather standard. Just that the room might be a bit small so it might only be suitable for short stay. Also the bed is a bit hard compared to other hotels so I have to spend some time to adapt it. My room located next to the lift so I could still some sound from outside when people are walking pass. Other than that everything is fine. I m happy with the stay overall.

First of all I chose this hotel mainly because of 3 reasons: 1. I ran out of hotel options in Takayama 2. I had a good experience in another APA hotel 3. The rail pass (Hokuriku Takayama JR) I was using happened to pass by Toyama Typical of other APA branches, this hotel feature the same ambiance/motif. It is very business like. It was around 2 blocks away from Toyama station, which is serviced by ordinary trains, buses and Hokuriku Shinkansen! There were lots of shops nearby. The toilet seat was not heated. It would have been nice to have having visited in the fall/winter season.

Although the room is quite small in comparison to other hotels in Japan during this trip, however, we really enjoy the city of Toyama and this hotel is conveniently located in everything. Clean comfortable room centrally located”
Toyama is not really overloaded with attractions, so you go there for a reason. Either business/conference or as rest before going into the mountains. In either case the hotel seems perfect. The room (single) is small, but close by I have stayed in much smaller rooms for nearly the same money. Large bed, and the normal tea/coffee maker. Fast internet access. Not large, but comfortable. And very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Good in English. I didn't really try their Japanese. Right next to the station, the Taxi center, and the bus terminal.Many bars and restaurants nearby serving what is best in Toyama, fresh fish. Not a luxurious hotel, but giving you what you need, expect or hope for. And this at a reasonable price. I might have to go back to Toyama soon, and I know where I will stay.

Very near to Toyama Mrt”
The hotel is just 5 mins walk from Toyama mrt. Good location if you plan to go to Kurobe Tateyama Alpine Route and Kurobe Gorge as the train going to those places is beside the Toyama JR station. Its 2hrs by local train to reach the Unazuki Once which is the train station to Kurobe Gorge. Its 1 hr by local train to Tateyama station which is going to Kurobe Alpine Route. Its better you take the first train from the Toyama station to teach the place early as there is always a lot of tourist going there. The hotel is also near to convinience store and food restauranat. Its near to tram if your are going around Toyama city center. The hotel is clean and staff are nice too. The hotel should continue providing bottled water in the room for the guest.

We went to Toyama to see Kurobe Alpine Route, Kurobe Gorge and the Ainokura Village. The hotel was in short distance from Toyama and Dentetsu-toyama stations which was so convenient because these three attractions are accesible through these two stations. The bed is quite big compared to the other APA hotels we went to. The staff were all very nice and welcoming. The only con I would say is that the room is a bit dusty. Visible dusts on the headboard and chair. I had to clean the room a bit myself.

A no-frills hotel very close to the Toyama JR station, restaurants, stores & nightlife. The rooms are typically tiny but clean & full of amenities. That's why we often book in APA hotel properties when we travel in Japan. The only surprising thing is that this APA hotel doesn't lend free umbrellas, as other APA hotels do.

A well-located hotel for travelling in Toyama area”
Not only the hotel is situated very near the Toyama Station and bus terminal, there is also a flyover connecting them together. Hence, it helps us to take public transport to travel around Toyama and related areas easily. Checking-out in the morning is highly efficient as there is a room-key dropbox right at the lobby near the lifts. The only drawback we encountered this time was the speed of WiFi was not as fast as we expected.
