Nice hotel at White Beach”
The Apartelle de Francesca is in "White Beach", but it is not located directly on the beach but rather 300m away from the beach, near the main road of the village. Advantage: just a few steps away from the only shopping store of the village, and more quiet than the beach area. Disadvantage: you need to walk to the beach. The rooms were ok, spaceous and clean, but no refridgerator/mini bar inside. We bought an ice box, but this can be improved. I liked most the swimming pool with the 5 jacuzzi/mini pools, which is in particular good for small children as you always can find a minipool that fits the size of your child. The owners were very helpful, gave advice how to take a boat from Batangas, picked us up at Puerto Galera and in general took care of our wellbeeing. Puerto Galera and White Beach currently have the problem that no international ATM is available, so it is a bit difficult to get money when you run out of cash. Bring sufficient money. There are money changer everywhere. As ATM was not available, I did send money to myself via Western Union and picked it up at the beach WU station without problems.

We had 2 days and 1 night stay in Apartelle de Francesca last weekend April 23-24, 2016. The place is very relaxing and clean.. The room is big. The staff is very approachable and nice except to the old woman In the counter. Here's the scenario during our second day we had our breakfast around 10am at the beach and go back to the hotel at 11am because I thought 12nn is our checkout time. After going back to the hotel I asked the receptionist politely what time should we checkout just to double check. She told me that it should be 11am. I asked her if we can stay till 12nn since we need to packup our stuff and she answered me yes. But this old woman on the other side is keep talking we should pay for charges without direct communicating to me. I just feel so disrespect. We know its our fault thats why I asked them nicely if we can extend till 12nn. If they said no and we need to pay for charges then fine but this old lady is so unprofessional. Also, Its quite far at the beach. We have to walk 6-7mins from hotel going to the beach. You can ask the receptionist for a free ride as long as the hotel tricycle is available else you can have one outside the hotel and pay 10pesos per head (not bad). But all in all, It was good stay!! Kudos to the management.

Great place, and great staff”
We enjoyed our stay at Apartelle de Francesca, especially thanks to Juliet who helped us a lot during our stay, especially with booking a ride home. The location is also great, a short walk from the beach but far enough that you don't hear the noise from the nightlife. The only issues in the room were the weak water pressure and the discolored television. The island seems to suffer frequent blackouts so we were thankful that the hotel had a generator, but the noise of the airconditioner shutting on/off woke us up oftentimes.

White beach is just about 5 minutes walk. Most hotels in Puerto Galera have no parking lots. If you drive all the way from Manila, it would be a great relief to find a hotel with a considerable parking space. The pool is a bit small but still ok. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Really good accommodations, very good service”
The room that we stayed in is quite clean, quite adequate for our needs and relatively better compared to the other places in Puerto Galera. The resort area is also quite peaceful with lots of tables and chairs where you can just sit down and have a drink or order some food from their restaurant or have a try at the videoke machine. There is a pool but its quite small with lots of swimming children. Service is really, really good. The front desk person is very accommodating and the staff is always available for whatever needs you may require. Although the resort is quite far from the beach (around 5 minutes of walking, the facilities and the service make it worthwhile.

The hotel's staff were very courteous and approachable. We really appreciate the free pick-up service from the port to the hotel and vice versa. They even offered their tricycle service from the hotel to the gate near the white beach and vice versa despite the fact that the distance is short. It was really a big help for one of the members of my family who had a foot injury during our stay in Puerto Galera. The room was spacious. We suggest the hotel to add a mirror aside from the bathroom mirror. It was cool swimming in the foot-shaped pool.

Apartelle is located about 5min away from the beach by foot. The pathway to Apartelle from the beach can get a bit dark at night but we found it to be ok. General cleanliness might not match hotels at other beach side resorts in Asia but that said, from what I could see when I walked past other hotels at white beach, Apartelle is probably one of the cleaner and more pleasant places to stay at. Staff were friendly and helpful. Free shuttle service was given from Apartelle to where we boarded the boat Batangas.
