Set in the centre of Saariselkä ski resort, these apartments are just 2 km from the ski slopes. Each apartment comes with free Wi-Fi, a kitchen and an outdoor seating area. Kuukkeli Apartments come in varying sizes from a studio with a terrace to spacious apartments with a private sauna and balcony. Some apartments come with a stone fireplace, while all have a private bathroom and living area with a TV. A communal sauna is open to all as well as further laundry facilities, and the resort has many opportunities for booking snow mobile or canoeing tours among other activities. Restaurant and Café Kuukkeli offers a variety of traditional meals using reindeer and salmon, as well as pizzas, casseroles and baked goods. Breakfast can be ordered at an additional cost. Kaunispää mountain is 5 km from the apartment, while Kakslauttanen Igloo Village and Kiilopää mountain are within a 15-minute drive. The town of Ivalo and its airport are 25 minutes away by car.

Excellent location with supermarket and bus stop nearby ”
Loves the location, thought it’s snowing, we still managed to pull each 23 kg baggage to apartments. The public bus stop, ski bus stop, bus stop for the bus to Rovaniemi is just outside the supermarket, very convenient. The apartment has a lot of appliances, washing machine and dryer. Oven for heating the pizza. Stove for cooking, pots and pans available too. Wi fi very strong. All facilities are good, it’s not luxurious but it has everything.

We stayed three days in apartment kuukkeli, the room clean, with much appliance and near the supermarket. ski resort in 25 mins walk, and ski bus is not very frequent.

四个女孩子住非常合适！超市餐馆就在旁边，可惜自带的厨房卫生不太好。我们接还钥匙都是在旁边的餐厅，餐厅薯条非常好吃。

딱 한가지빼고 모든게 마음에 들었다.”
마음에 들지 않은건 한국처럼 재빠른 대처를 기대한건 아니지만 1월 한겨울 잘나오던 따듯한 물이 이틀째 점심부터 안나오는 것이다. 곧 리셉션에 이야기를 했지만 바로 고칠수 없다는 답변만 들려 왔고 우리는 만 하루이상을 꼬박 참아 다른 도시로 이동후 머리를 감거나 샤워를 할수 있었고 그보다 급했던 이들은 결국 이 엄동설한에 얼음물로 샤워 및 샴푸를 했다.
