Best hotels & accommodations in Bali

Read the advertising blurb, because it is extremely accurate. The value and quality of the food is very good. We dined out of the hotel on the second and fourth night, but decided although cheaper food existed the KTH offered really good value cuisine with CLEAN premises, so we ate there most nights. The Brazilian BBQ is an experience, especially for meat lovers. How...

The location wise is far off from DPS airport(40-50mins) & 30 mins to Seminyak/Kuta. 8 mins to pantai berawa and 15-20 mins to Canggu beach. The apartment was okay except for the bathroom, small and also its next to Rice field,be prepared for the centipedes in your bathroom! The check in was smooth, staff there is very very very friendly!!!!! Love them!! Thank you! They ...

well first of all we didnt get picked up from the airport but found our own way there ok. when we arrived the staff just giggled about it...so we did too. we were supposed to have a seaview apartment but that was a giggle for the staff too. there are no seaview apartments at ap inn. i think the description should have said seeview! the view from our balcony was straigh...

This is a great apartment, especially if you are staying for several days or week. The apartment is clean and spacious. It is centrally located, only a 200 meter walk to the beach. The Beachwalk Mall is only 400 meters. There are a ton of things to do within a 1 km walk. The accommodations are as shown in the beach. The bed is comfortable. There is a kitchen with a ref...

We stayed for 2 weeks in apartment 1 (green) it overlooked the rice fields with an open kitchen but a closed in bedroom and bathroom. There are a total of 3 apartments in this complex (3 complexes all up). If you look in the pictures it is the one with no grass around the pool and stone tiled floors with a green cupboard in the kitchen. At first we were worried about p...

The experience is definitely exceeding the expectation for how much you paid. If you book a whole month, it's actually cheaper than most fully furnished apartment in Bali. It's a bit distant away from most happenings, which is plus for me because it's so quiet at night, but if you are a tourist ... hm ... But price is so reasonable, WI-Fi mostly strong and stable, ve...

Everything was great about this place. But for me, the big fridge with ice supply and the water machine was the best part. Don’t need to keep buying water from single-use plastic bottles as you can refill your own bottle in the apartment. Very quiet and nice, super fast internet. Location is perfect and easily found by Gojek people if you book a ride. Staff is beyond f...

This is an apartment attached to the Aston Hotel. Fully self contained and serviced each day. Breakfast not included however breakfast downstairs at the Aston is Asian orientated as are the customers. I hired a scooter across the road and had all of the Tuban and Kuta resaurants to choose from. Spotless modern living area and kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Could not fa...

Super clean, comfortable, welcoming and had a very helpful and friendly Trisno who is also the caretaker of this apartment. He has been extremely accomdating to all our needs even way before we arrive Bali for our luggage arrangement. We stayed in for 2 nig hts at the apartment on the ground floor which is just next to the pool. What I love about this apartment, it has...

I stayed in Petitenget 501 for 4 or 5 times (I forgot the exact numbers) and still believe that this place is one of the best for holiday in Bali. Most of the time I stay in their 2 rooms lofts and my favourite is the loft no. 5. I stayed in studio room for the first time yesterday, and think that it is also comfortable if you are only 2 or less. In brief, I recommend...

We had booked 2 rooms in The Sintesa for 2 nights during our latest trip to Bali in mid-June. The hotel in located on the top of the hills overlooking the Jimbaran beach. It took us about half an hour to reach from Denpasar Airport. The hotel has their own secured premises and we were cordially been greeted by the excellent staffs. I'd specially like to mention the h...

Brilliant. One of the best service villa's I've stayed in, since visiting Bali regularly for over 10 years now. Service was excellent and no request were too difficult for the team to arrange. Villa Warrigin, was lovely, very grand, beautiful and with great charm. Locate at the end of a long road, directly in front of the beach front. Perfect for large families looki...

I used this location as enough out of town and quite ,not so many guests in the complex and its a family business, whom i became friends with the niece of the Owner and engineer of building , so sound construction. Was there during many of the Lombok aftershock and earthquakes, which is directly across from Amed They were very kind , caring , concerned for their guest...

Value for money, the room is very clean, all hotel function are work well, staff are friendly and helpful. This hotel is suitable for those who would love to explore Seminyak area. Easy access by Uber / Grab, scooter or Taxi, which not all location in Bali is safe for book online taxi since they're banned by the local, but this area is safe. I can easily travel with ma...

A comfortable place 5-10 mins from the Main Street and 10-15 mins walk from the beach. Have never had such little interaction with hotel staff but this is more apartments than hotel. The apartments are advertised as non-smoking but the previous occupant of ours had been smoking just before leaving and the whole place was stinking of cigarettes. Ashtrays are provided o...

A querky African theme with a sense of humour complimented the spacious and luxury room overlooking a pool overlooking the skyline of popular Seminyak. The staff went out of their way with a welcome drink and cool towel and made sure we knew where all the facilities were and where to go for breakfast. The staff were attentive and looked after us in the evening with a...

We had book 3 Room for 3 night , this is the same complaint as per below : 1. Air-conditioning inside the room ,filled with incorrect location,Lying in the bed, totaly cannot feel the cool air . Is hot at the night. 2. Water Heater is Unstable ; Suddenly cold suddenly hot; 3.Because the aircon is not cold, so we had inform counter we no need room service and we keep...

If I can give more than 5 stars I will definitely do it, cannot describe the beautiful of this place and the hospitality of the host, she is so friendly and accommodate to anything that she can help. this place is so peaceful in quiet to relax, if you ever had a scooter to travel around you will have no problem in transport, explore the mini pub and food nearly, look a...

Pros: spacious, luxurious, close to nature; there are several free shuttle rides to and from Ubud centre everyday; clean; true 5-star experience; their cafe serves delicious food and drinks. Everything was perfect and more than how we imagined our stay in Ubud would be like that we almost did not want to leave the villa! Cons: Breakfast choices were limited but i didn...

Myself and my husband had a great stay in the apartments. We go to Bali often and love staying in Sanur. We would defiantly stay in the apartments again and would recommend them. The Apartments are spacious and have everything you need, you have the ground floor with your TV, table, cooking area, day bed in, and then upstairs to the mezzanine were your bed and little...

Best place! Clean, beautiful place, nice and big room, comfortable, no highway noise could be heard because the place is a bit inside a 1 car fit road, but not far away from the main road. The view is beautiful, in front of rice fields and an open sky. They provided gallon drinking water in the lobby that we are free to take. Towels, bed linen and other supplies are...

The owner, Made, and her son are very nice, friendly and helpful, ready to help You and fix whatever you need. The upper floor (bedroom) is very bright and has an awesome view from the veranda (or balcony, because that room with the single bed has the main window which is not closable, just coverable with a wooden curtain), you will be submerged in the sounds of nature...

Very affordable local house at local environtment. The owner is so friendly and helpful. Roome is clean, spacious bathroom, and Pancake for breakfast is delicious too. Make sure to have room at 3rd floor to have tranquil view of rice paddy and coconut tree, and feel magical moment at sunrise. Only down side is not easy to park if you travel by car.but overall This is g...

We were completely mislead by Agoda, we booked the villa as it was advertised as private, however when we got there, there was 4 other young backpackers sitting on the sofas, one of them walking around in their underwear!! The room was okay, we were put on the top floor, where the room type said pool view... and there was no toilet roll or towels in the room. The only ...

Pros: 1) Located in city center 2) Ample of eateries nearby 3) Affordable rate 4) Room is spacious 5) Everything is walking distance (restaurant, beach, shopping) Cons: 1) Room not so clean. Smelly pillowcases & toilet drain was clogged & smelly during our stay. 2) Poor wifi connection, can’t be used at all if you are in your room

Nice little homestay in kuta. Quite good sleep. Beds a bit soft and the no sink no mirror in the bathroom is a bit strange, especially if u need to shave and used to do it wet dont need a sink but a mirror would avoid cutting or shaving errors. This said I would also go back. Maybe even a cheap mirror in the bath is not 2 much asked. They got a huge nice mirror in the ...

I extend my stay after arriving at Bumbung Bungalows. Komang and his family are lovely people who really look after you and help you with whatever you may need! The bungalow is basic with fan and cold water shower but that's all I need when on a diving holiday. Great value for money, clean and safe since it's away from the main road and very quiet at night. Directly lo...

Not bad, the facilities is quite complete with the nice decor and architeture as well. But what owner and staff must concern is the cleanliness. If i open the curtain i can see the dust flying over everywhere in the room. Then the blanket smells so bad like the “ sweats old man”

stayed here just two nights before leaving bali. Kuta is not my favorite area (been to bali many times now) but it does offer a wide variety of restaurants and shopping and nightlife. This place was very close to it all and the beds were quite comfortable. There was no sink in the room though which was quite odd

The room seemed clean however The smell from the drains in the bathroom were intolerable at times. WiFi was non existent in our room. This was the first hotel in all of Asia after 4 months to deny me hot water in the morning to make my porridge oats for breakfast. We moved to a better hotel for the same price

At the first time we arrive there was a little trouble because they say they already full book and thinking that we cancelled our stay so they gave our room to other people so they let us stay in another hotel for 1 day and got our ass back to their hotel in the next day, their location is quite good because it’s pretty near to everywhere, they have spacious room too!
+ quiet + nice view over mt. batur and lake + staff friendly + first hot shower there since a week in north-east bali + good tour to mt. batur (also good price compared to other places! book it here) - price, but everything around mt. batur is very expensive - a bit hard to get there but (10min to the mainroad or rent a motorbike)

This place is a good place to stay. But front office dont welcome well. High temper and intonation makes us so uncomfortable. After we were directed to our room, there is no communication. So we strugle hardly guessing what is our right , what we can do or cannot do, how to operate WIFI, kitchen set etc. Fortunately there is contact on whatsapp, and we were helped b...

Only one problem the front wall of our room was ordinary glass which is fine if the other guests are quiet at night. We had some noisy guests , young people very loud at 1-30am. Otherwise Paica is in a very quiet area and nice room and bathroom. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Far from beach and Denpasar Centre for shopping though.

This place is actually quite good but lack of room service such as hot water and toilet tissue. I have to buy toilet tissue roll and shower in cold water. Other than those issues, this place is good near to the main road, convenience store, restaurants, food stalls, and not too far from mall.

I had such a pleasant time here! Room was big and clean. It's totally worth it, i got agoda price around 400k per night for 60m2 room completed with water dispenser, kitchen, sink, and big living room. Staff were all so friendly and helpful, my plane got delayed to almost midnight and they let me check out late without any additional charges! I really appreciate it...

Only stayed a few days here passing through on our way to Uluwatu. The pool was gorgeous, a lovely place to lay, swim and even look at out of our window at. The rooms were very clean, functional and had a safe for your important items...although the only thing for me is that I personally love a mini bar fridge in my room to keep my water cold, but again, that's just m...

Although the place is not easy to find out, not similiar with other hotels. The place is quite and nice. Just a few rooms but size are big with good facilities such as kitchen. The owner of the residence is so kind and the people working there are nice too.

Hard to find at first, but a gem! It is in the lane just next to Happy Chappy. There is a laundry shop just opposite the lane. The apartment is spotless clean, comforatble, spacious and designed beautifully. The TV didn't work, but who watches TV in bali. The location is perfect, a shortcut across a lane and you will arrive right in the middle of Seminyak. 24hrs coco s...

Memorable stay & experience with Ayana Residence Luxury Apartment, especially the attentive & prompt service by Pak Anton. Tastefully designed, finished & equipped, a luxurious experience without burning a big hole in the pocket. Will definitely come back again

Multiple large heated swimming pools. The room was nice, some minor repairs needed to be done and could benefit from more hooks for hanging wet towels. There was no drinking water provided or kettle. Overall was a pleasant experience, don't recommend if you wish to stay in the centre of ubud but we did walk to the centre on one occasion which took approx 40 mins. Free ...

Nice apartment with lots of space (2 floors and 3 beds altogether, so it can fit a group) and very good value for the price. The location is also quite good as it's fairly central. Cleanliness was just OK which I mentioned to the staff, and they were super receptive and helpful. Would recommend this as a good value overall. Thanks!

They dint really maintain the property, theres no gardener in the morning to water the garden. No people to welcoming you, no feont desk. This is a monthly apartment turn into a rent per day room. The description of this home was spot-on—it’s a clean, comfortable getaway right in the heart of Ubud. This apartment was large and sunny, with plenty of space for two people to relax and unwind. It provides an authentic Balinese experience, complete with chickens running through the well-kept gardens and the occasional gecko watching curiously from the curtain rods. ...
Traveler impressions of Bali
Its best to visit bali with your love one, its just too nice to be missed. Of course it can turn into a nightmare if you don't know where to go.
Great place for cheap massages, and amazing food. Watch out for overly forceful salespeople at the markets and street shops, and make sure you can deal with the heat.
Beaches, waterfalls, temples, mountains, volcanos, nature, cultures, food, lovely people... what's not to like? Oh yeah the traffic's horrid.
its a really good city along with volcano and beaches some small islands really good. beaches are really good do spent more time
Bali is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a holiday. A chilled out place where everything, except traffic, is relaxed and moving at own pace.
Spoilt for choice when it comes to dining. Most times you need to haggle on pricing be it clothing, taxi fare or decor.
the culture is really good, plenty of temples, natural waterfalls, beaches etc.. so many things to do and see.
loved every bit of the holiday. nusa dua is awesome. kuta was good because it was not so busy, but stay away from a man who sells wallets etc and call himself 'harry bucking butler'.
Bali has many towns each with their own flavour. Kuta with its wild feel and nightlife is full of young surfers and clubbers.
I have been to Bali dozens of times, love the place & the people. On my recent trip, it's saddened me to see how disrespectful are a lot of the Balinese & the domestic tourists (Indonesians) to their own land.
I love the Mother Nature such as dreamland beach, it is very very clean water and big waive, tanah lot is so beautiful, it look like a stone island and we took a lot of photo there.
Beautiful island. Place to bring your families and have fun at the same time relax and enjoy the atmosphere with good food and entertainments.
Bali is amazingly beautiful island with wonderful and friendly people around, variety of beach clubs, shopping malls and souvenir shops.
There is no place like home, and Bali is my second home. My family and I have been travelling at least twice a year to Bali and we can never get enough.
Best to travel mid of the year as it's not a rainiy season & cool breeze from South makes everything perfect when you do outdoor activities.
attractive. the place that i can come again for next time. Monkey forest that an attractive places for visit
Beautiful island, stunning sunset and friendly people. A bit commercialised, but still retaining the beauty of a little paradise if you know how o avoid the touristic spots
Can be lot to see, the beaches at sunset and unbud for jungle and forest scenery overall lot to do there.
Bali is so different than any other part of Indonesia. This island sets a standar for worldclass tourism industries.
Bali is a beautiful relaxing place to enjoy a holiday. Whatever you wish to do in Bali your wishes can be met.
Beautiful Island, with many tourists, various food, sports activity, many things can be done in Bali Nice Place
Balinese people are friendly and quick to smile. They are gracious and want to please and this makes even the most determined market shop owner bearable and 'sweet' as they call to you to please come and buy from them.
Bali is laid back. Nice place to relax, have good food and good beer, go sightseeing. There are some very touristy areas, but there are nice local spots where you get a good feel of the place.
one of the best places to visit for holidays. I've been around many countries but always come back to Bali
There are too many people trying to make a living out of tourism. They are too pushy to sell goods and services.
Island of the Gods. Although a lot of tourism and hawkers, the vibe is chilled and the culture is intoxicating.
Its has everything if you travel around the island and get out of Kuta. Kuta is for the teenage to party all night and sleep all day.
Bali was an exciting place for us to explore. We tried to see as much as we could in 3 weeks and had the most wonderful time.
Overall good. The only problem is most tourist attractions are are to short and too expansive. We paid 600k for 12 private car.
