Wonderful condo unit given to us with nice view of the straits of Malacca. Only two things that disturbed us during our stay: 1) construction work on adjacent land with terrible noise from the piling. thank god the noise was only during daytime 2) no Wifi facility, reason was that condo is still new

From the moment that I made the reservation for the apartment, I knew this location will be different from the other hotels that I have been to the world over. I booked a 2-bedroom suite and on the last minute, we decided to book a room with the seaview to accomodate to the father's request to see the sunrise. Without hesitation, the Hotel team, led by Donny, accomo...

It was difficult to find at first but after calling the host, we managed to locate the hotel. We booked a 2 rooms apartment and everything is nice & clean. Far exceed my expectation. Besides, it is only a short 10 mins walk to jonker street. Hence for the 3 days in Melaka, it was a stress free trip because of the right hotel we booked that we don't have to drive aroun...

location - need to check the location due waze only show half way accces card i think need to provide 2 in one unit .. need to provide extra matress due apartment normally 2 or 3 group family stay kiblat indication should be have extra plastic rubbish please pool is strict laws but the best kids cant enjoy swimming at the night too

Upside - For someone who is travelling toddler, kid of 5y.o. and elderly, I have all the facilities I need here. There were 7 adults + 2 kids among us, we still have plenty of space for the kids to run around the unit. The location was perfect, only within 10mins drive to Jonker Street. Downside - Throughout the stay, we never get to see anyone in person, only get to...

Coffe cups, plates, fork and spoon are provided. We are satisfied with the apartment for 1 night stay. The kids enjoyed the pool swimming.

Cosy stay apartment is a nice, clean and comfortable place to stay. The building of the apartment might look old, but then the internal of the house is just like a 4 star hotel. This apartment is suitable for family stay or trip with friends. As it has 3 bedrooms with AC that can accommodate 6 people, 2 public bathrooms and a kitchen. As the location is 5 minutes away f...

I booked this home stay but was asked to stay in Saffron Stay Malacca because it was double booked. I don't mind as it is located in the same area but at ground floor. The owner is very friendly and communicate about this timely and with proper manner. It has very high ecstatic value. The house has 3 bedrooms with air conditioner and one queen bed in each room. We were a little skeptical when we made our trip to Malacca because communication with staff was purely through email and there was no reply to my request to confirm the meet up. However, when we reached the place and contacted the staff, they were fast to reach the apartment in 5 min time. The apartment is like a shophouse, beside Famous Inn. It is good for fami...

After we booking this Apartment, Jessy had call me to verify and confirm my check in time. She send me the apartment location and facilities through email, I feel very warm and helpful. This condo have a very GREAT environment and you can feel relax when you are in your room.

My first trip to Malacca and I was grateful to choose Family Stay Mahkota Hotel Melaka after recommendation from friends, it was a very good experience and everything was great from check in to check out. My family and I have a great stay in this homestay. It is nearby Malacca sentral. The owner is a very nice person, he welcome us at Malacca Sentral and drove us to the homestay. The house is spacious, modern and clean. Tesco and Jesco shopping mall is just nearby. also given us taxi driver contact number since we do not have our own transport. Me and family will surel...

The 3-room unit we stayed was excellent. It was actually a landed Semi D not apartment. There were 3 rooms in each unit(floor) and the best thing is every room comes with a washroom! The unit was very clean and everything you need for a stay, or rather, everything a 4 Star hotel room provides is in there. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Location was ver...

This hotel is well placed overlooking the Straits of Malacca and the view from the hotel is quite good. Also the hotel has 2 swimming pools and ample car parking. The buffet breakfast was good (not great though as the choices were quite limited) and the hotel staff is quite friendly and helpful. NEGATIVES - The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in badly needed some refur...

Our stay at My Jonker Home was superb. Friendly staff and she basically attend to all our queries. Promptly tell us what should we do and what facilities is available in room. The room we taken has 3 rooms available. We went in a group, the space and room condition is just nice for us. 5 min walk to Jonker Street, restaurant with variety choice is just available at dow...

It has total 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms can accommodate 8 persons. The house is situated at 3rd floor of shop house without lift. Elderly and big luggage might need to take in the consideration. Good satay celup restaurant (open till midnight) nearby 3 mins walking and 10 mins walking distance to jonker street. Plenty of parking space.

The house was super clean.. 3 rooms that can sleep 10 pax... big flat screen tv and nice view from the house.. i love the wallpaper deco.. the apartment has big swimming pool.. only that strict security control to enter the apartment.. need to register each time if you dont have the access card.. i recommend this apartment..

We stayed in malacca for our pre wedding photo shoot. The apartment was very comfortable in every way. They even have WiFi in the apartment. If you planning to visiting Klebang then this place is very near for you. From the apartment to city centre takes you bout 15mins ride. Overall a pleasant stay.
Cheapest hotels in Malacca

Old building with standard condition for bacpaker. price is not too expensive or cheap. but the advantages was near the tourist center, convinient public transportation, easy to find local food and restaurant. not far away from Makhota Malaca Hospital.

My friend and I decided last minute to drive to Melaka and everywhere was fully booked. Lucky for us, we stumbled across this small hotel. We arrived before 12 and they let us checked into our room and showed us around. 1. Room is quite spacious, so is the bathroom. Hot water was plenty, although I didn't really care about hot water, Melaka is boiling hot . 2. Locat...

Pros - Location 1 minute away from jonker street - Very friendly owner will help you with the map - Near all the good foods you are looking at Malacca - Value for money - If you are riding motorcycle, you may park inside their house and its pretty safe. Cons - Shared toilet - Mosquito in room but bed with nets which i find it still okay.

House is very close from the sea, because of malacca is very small city, walk to hero square and the seaside mosque is very convenient.hostess is enthusiastic and capable, also speak very good Chinese, and take the initiative to provide lots of helpful information.the hostess'sdiligent,so the room was very clean.the only problem is wifi,it seem can not connect on the secon...

The older man at the counter upon checking-in was very friendly, helpful and hospitable. We really enjoyed my 2 nights stay here. The room is very small but very clean. Bathroom space is tight but new and clean. The water pressure is great for a good shower! For the price we're paying, we have little complains. Though we might consider other places when we return to Ma...

Friendly staff and very prompt in responding to queries. Well maintained and clean apartment. Ample parking. I love the place, the space, the comfort, the view, the location, the convenience & even didn’t get to meet the host I love how responsive & alert she is. I travel quite often to Melaka & this won’t be my last stay with ruby apartment. I just love everything about it!

It's a cosy place with a huge balcony looking out over the Straits of Malacca. We had the pleasure of watching quiet, beautiful sunrises from the balcony during our stay, yet we were only a short drive away from major tourist attractions in the city. Pleasant stay !

If you planning to visiting Klebang then this place is very near for you. From the apartment to city centre takes you bout 15mins ride. Overall a pleasant stay.

The place is very well maintain, very clean. Have great sea view from living room and bedroom windows. Cooking facilities working well, suitable for family with kids, can cook light meal for them during the stay. Not to forget the kids pool is great. Must bring along swimming costume for kids to let them have fun.

Everything is clean and spacious inside the apartment. The apartment can fit up to 6 persons. However there is no kitchen. The owner could add in some cabinets and a stove. The Condo is still very new. Lots of construction activities going on and lots of dust along the corridors and lift.

Victor is a very good host, he meet us at the place we had lunch and directed us to the apartment. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. We like the water filtration system too. We enjoyed our stay at the apartment and will definitely book one of Victor's apartment when we visit Malacca again.

Pros. 1. Spacious 2. Cheaper than official bayou hotel. 3. Responsive staff (amran) 4. Cheaper theme park ticket. 5. Check in process. Self check in. Contras: 1. No pool view. 2. No bathtub compare to official bayou hotel. 3. No kitchen 4. Didnt feel like hotel due to the bedsheet in blue colour., prefer white bedsheet.

The host is kind, generous and full of info on the surrounding area as well the apartment itself.. We are allowed to check in early, our studio room is super clean and specious. Is perfect for us 3 adult 1 child. There is mini bar snack complimentary for us too. Thank you so much. I will definately come back for another stay.

Arrived at property expecting a reception for checking in but did not see any only security officers asking for booked tower & unit number. Had to call number listed in Agoda booking form & was told to call another number to get keys to unit from the mailbox room in lobby. Did the same for checkout as no response to my query on check-out process, left everything back ...

Hi, I am Daniel from Singapore, 38 this year and I made a drive from Singapore to KL on 23rd October 2018 and book this place on a night sleepover. I am travelling with a Friend and my Wife. Looks fine from picture and the facilities all look ok. My warning is for this unit! This is sold to a private landlord who rents this out like AirBnb. - toilet smells mouldy ...

Mention for 5 pax .but owner only provides 2 queen beds with 1 sofa .(which she mention sofa bed) So 1 of us need to sleep on the sofa which totally not comfy at all . Owner also mention the room with complimentary wifi .but in actual there is no wifi . To sum up i think this room is not value for money .

The host was let us waiting about 15-20 minutes which we has contacted before arrival and this should not be happened. Limited Room Key provided and apartment facilities are require slot in room key before function. Meanwhile, if someone needs stay in the apartment, there is some difficulties and not so convenience.

I don't think its exaggerate to said this is the best "home" accommodation i have stayed so far. 1. The owner is so friendly and thoughtful. me and my family travel during CNY. As we scared it will be jam, so we depart at 5am and reach around 10 am. all of us are tired and we wish to check in earlier, around 1pm(normal check in time is 3pm). I try to contact the owner...

Very friendly and detailed owner with fast response always! Going beyond service by sharing places of interest/food in Malacca when one does not need to. Place is beautiful as shown in pictures and very clean too. Will surely stay again if I am there in Malacca soon. 👍

My pleasant stay on the weekends this is one of the best places stayed in Melaka. The place is so clean and well maintained and depicted as you see in photos and attracting swimming pool will ensure to spend time, and great value for money for the pax 4-6 people.

Everything is clean and spacious inside the apartment. The apartment can fit up to 6 persons. However there is no kitchen. The owner could add in some cabinets and a stove. The Condo is still very new. Lots of construction activities going on and lots of dust along the corridors and lift.

We had a good stay in this service apartment. It was clean, beds are comfy, toiletries and towels are provided. You can see the sea side from afar. rented the apartment during the CNY holidays. the original planned itinerary was changed many times as we found the place was too good to be missed. note to those who would want to rent, please ensure you complete the cycle of entering and exiting using the parking season pass to avoid unnecessary time wasted for the next occupant. the owner might also want to change t...
Traveler impressions of Malacca
Malacca is a historical city, and good place for quality time with your friends . many delicious food .

A great place to visit for a short drive from Singapore. Spent 2016 V-day weekend there for great food, decent shopping and fantastic cultural immersion.
spend sometime transversing the historical journey...Only then would one truly understand the rich culture of Malacca.
We enjoyed looking at the historical sites on St Paul's Hill which were well signposted and with information boards nearby.
A small cultural city with lots of interesting things to offer! Ride a trishaw around the Jonker area and you can start with some window shopping while you're at it! Plenty of souvenirs and handcrafts plus lots of food treats for everyone to try.
its a historical place, for the history lover ad food lover, it is recomended to visit melaka and spend at lest 1 night here for the beautiful night view and variety of fod
recommend people who wish to travel to Melaka to do homework before you reach there. Try to search for those nice food that recommended by blogger online, so that u can get the nicest food in town.

Very interesting old town with many historical sites. Love the history. Coupled with nice shopping malls.
There are plenty of things to do here. You need to plan your trip so that you can cover as much and see as much.
Heritage city. Various delicious foods such as coconut milk shake, chicken rice ball, satay cellup, Nadeje layer cake.
it is a nice town with a very rich history. I will recommend anyone to read its history a little before visiting to appreciate its rich history and culture
Malacca is a culture and history city, also there has a lot of local good food, shopping also great.
Jonker Street is a must visit place especially the night market on weekend. You have have a drink and relax in geographer
Nice place to visit. Try to avoid travelling in the evening of the eve of New Year as there are road blocks for New Year Celebration at Bandar Hilir.
Melaka is a historical place where you can experience its unique culture and also very suitable for sightseeing.
Malay historical centre with many sightseeing places. Many activities available for the young and old.
Malacca is very famous for food. You can find many variety of food here. Shopping is also very good as the price is also cheaper as compare to other main cities.
Malacca is at the western side of West Malaysia and about 1.5hrs drive away from Kuala Lumpur. Local delights are cendol, satay celup, chicken rice balls, and many others.
Malacca is one of the most interesting towns in Malaysia which dates back to the 15th century, and it has alot of historical site to visit.
full of historical & cultural tourism attraction. avoid visiting this area during festive/major holiday as the area will be pack with visitors.
Small town with heritage and notable culture but food quality is getting bad... crowd is getting out of control.

Food: Nyonya Makko, Ole Sayang Parks: Malacca Zoo, Butterfly and Reptile Park Historic: Stadhuys, A'Famosa Fort Shopping: Dataran Pahlawan
It is adviceable to avoid public holiday like Christmas and weekend. The city will be extremely crowed and heavy traffic jam where I can only see people and cars.
Its a historical heritage city and lots of historical places..Christmas celebration at Portuguese settlement is wonderful things to see during Christmas.
One or two nights stay is enough for the old town. Recommended to stay in the Jonker street area. My dining favourite spot is Geographer Cafe, they serve delicious Asian food and refreshing drinks.
Malacca's best hotels with breakfast

We booked for a short family getaway to Malacca. Two Imperial Deluxe and 1 executive. The executive room was great, big enough for family of 3 but the room didn't have the floor mat for the toilet and my room had only the ironing board but not the iron so i had to borrow from other room. We got a free upgrade from Imperial to Heritage Deluxe. It was so spacious and ...

Before booked i read the review and so many guests said this apartment quite bad. However, after arrived there, the apartment is soooooo clean and beautiful. I dont get it why so many guests complained about ut. Me and my family love the apartment so much, it was clean with english-style for interior design and has nice view of Malacca city. I am recommended to family ...

Been queuing for more then 40mit to check in (I arrived hotel lobby at 3.50pm, 6.20pm to reach my room)while my turn to check in was informed one room has been upgrade to hotel tower so we stay separate tower with my parents (I booked residence tower). It was Chinese New Year and I was expecting a whole load of customers and will take a long time to check in. Surprisingly, I was wrong. The staff made an effort to serve us as fast as they could. Knowing we were not good in conversing in Bahasa Malaysia, they spoke to us in fluent English, which is very comforting. They even played Chinese new year songs to drive up th...

I have stayed in many hotels in Malacca and Doubletree is the best! I feel so pampered during my stay there, as the staff are very attentive and the facilities are very extensive and top notch, e.g. the toiletries provided are Crabtree and Evelyn, not just any cheap product. Appreciate the chocolate nut cookie during check-in too! Hygiene is good but some spots are eas...

Our family of 11 stayed there for 2 nights and we got 1 3br and 1 2br apartment. The rooms were clean and spacious but only complain was the creaky wooden door. Hotel was easy to locate but is abit far from malacca town around 20-30 mins. It was ok for us as we drove. As we were there during ramadan month, most shops were closed in the resort and the theme park is not ...

Nice location with cheap eateries only minutes of walking and near to the city center and the Malacca sentral bus terminal. The wooden furnishings could really use some fixings. Got a huge upgrade to a family room even though only for a solo traveler. The extra amenities provided is very much appreciated.

- great, great location - right gobsmack in the centre of ayer keroh - surrounded by tourist attractions in ayer keroh; zoo melaka, butterfly park, crocodile park, taman malaysia, etc - surrounded by shops, markets, mamak places and facilities outside the hotel - very near to ayer keroh toll plaza - close to other commercial areas and shopping malls which have kar...

Overall, I find my stay quite pleasant. The hotel is looks pretty close to a 4 star hotel if they could add 1-2 more plug points and have a door to their cupboards. The choice of food is fair and nice but preferably if they could add some Malaccan cuisine would be appreciated. The hotel is chosen relatively because it is near to our working site, the Orand Asli Museum ...

The 3-star hotel is equipped with 5-star facilities. The hotel design is beautiful. Everything is in good condition. Staff are friendly. Location of the hotel is quite strategic where the hotel is located not far from Bandar Hilir for those who want to visit the historical places in Malacca town and also not far from Pantai Klebang and Tanjung Kling gor those who want ...

This is the third time I come to malacca, first time stay at city area. Previously I stay around jonker street. This hotel quite new in malacca city, and get the mostly higher recommendation from fb. Hotel was newly built therefore it is definitely still pretty nice. I booked the Straits Suites and it was huge! downside was the balcony was locked and you are unable to get access, suspect they locked up due to safety issue. The place was just beside Hattan Square therefore it is quite centralised. Need to cut across a small dark alley from Hatten hotel to reach...

This was the best hotel out of our road trip covering 3 states. The suites were huge, though the bathrooms were too small. This hotel has a very rustic feel. You can see antique stuff displayed in the lobby and this brings out a lot of nostalgia. Breakfast spread was so-so. Location is very nearby to Malacca places of interest. Due to the traffic, it's better to take a...

I love the hotel. So comfortable to stay with my family and my husband love the bed.. the mattress soft.. staff so nice. it was our first time to go to malacca so i booked our hotel(s) blindly by just skimming through agoda choices. i booked two hotels in fact, in case i get disappointed with one, i thought maybe i'd be happy with the other. i booked prima hotel melaka for our first night as agoda indicated it's in jonker st but it's actually chinatown area according to the taxi driver. ...

It's a new hotel, and I would say it's one of the best in Malacca. Strategic location - 5 mins walk to the famous satay celup restaurant & about 10 mins walk to Jonker street. We so enjoyed our stay here as it is so comfortable and close to all the major attractions, jonker's Street, Malacca riverside walks, Stadhuys etc. nearby dining also excellent and the best South Indian Food we have found in Malaysia, just minutes away. Alas Amy's for Nonya Food was temporarily closed. What a lovely hotel, simple but delightful.
