Good but not perfect”
Terrific, large room, good facilities, very good food. The downside is that my room, 149, was at times in a noisy location.
Fantastic hotel / very friendly service”
This is a great hotel with very friendly staff. Continental breakfast buffet was more than enough, room was very clean and at 200m from Tower Hill Underground, location is great for tourists visiting London.
GOOD AND CONVENIENT HOTEL”
Great location, good gym and easy access to various locations
It is a best value hotel for your money”
Pros - unlimited snacks included in the room, provision for sofa bed, very good toilet amenities, big rooms as compared to other London hotels (compared it with Holiday inn kensington forum), location is near tower of london, within walking distance. Very helpful and nice staff. Cleaning staff did a good job in cleaning our rooms and plenty of towels. Cons - breakfast is limited.
Great East Side Location!”
Very clean hotel. Rooms weee spacious and staff was very friendly. Hotel is in process of being remodeled and pretty much finished except for the bar area so you have to go elsewhere for cocktails. Staff is great however they seem to not be to familiar withrestaurants and pubs in the area but we're able to help find places on their computer.
Had a really enjoyable weekend at this hotel, the staff were very lovely. I was really impressed with the room, much better than 5* hotel I had recently stayed at! Walk in shower was a nice treat and the bed was beyond comfortable. Only thing I would suggest is an updated guide to the tv channels, there were good 50+ to go through, but it is a minor thing really.
An ideal hotel to sightsee from ”
We had a lovely time at the hotel, the staff were friendly and very helpful. The room had everything we needed, including a lovely bathroom and was beautifully clean. It was quiet and relaxing after a busy day. The food we had, which was mainly breakfast, was extremely good. The prices are I guess what you pay in London, but we didn't mind as there wasn't anything to complain about. We will certainly stay there again. We stayed in a Times Square, New York hotel earlier this year, and our holiday was marred by the hotel, they should take notes from the Apex, who have got everything just right. .
Great city centre hotel”
This is a superb city centre hotel, it is an ideal location for transport links which makes reaching London's tourist sites extremely easy to reach, in fact 2 of the most popular, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London are a 5 minute walk away!!! However what makes this an excellent choice are the staff, they are professional, friendly and knowledgable. We were there for a birthday weekend and a special mention must be given to the front office manager, Florence Alloing, for her attention.
A very comfortable stay with good rail/bus links”
I took my granddaughter to London for a 20 birthday treat. Hotel was very well placed with good rail/bus links to the City, also walking along the Embankment, Bankside, South Bank etc. We had a great time.
clean and convenient hotel”
The hotel is conveniently located near the Tower Hill station, which is on the circle and district line. It is also walking distance to the London Tower and Tower Bridge. Other attractions like westminster and trafalgar square are a few stations or a bus ride away. The bathroom is a pleasant surprise with separate shower and bath and both very respectable sized. staff are very helpful and attentive too. If you are looking for nightlife, then apex is not your hotel. There are a few bars but nothing wow (or wild) around that area.
Great hotel, great location - just perfect!”
I was travelling with my 17 years old son. We had a real quiet room (never slept so quiet in a hotel, it really was great). coffee and tea for free, free internet. 24 hours fitness room. very close to the next subway station. nice people. we will come back again.
great hotel, staff was professional with easy access to restaurants and tube station. only complaint was the room service/food. food was not tasty at all and very expensive for the portion size; not a good combination. eat elsewhere
Really nice hotel”
very pleasant trip with gf. the hotel is in the middle of the london city, 1 minute far away from london bridge and london tower and really near of circle line underground. the rooms are big and they have both bath and shower. the bed is the most comfortable i've ever seen.
Great hotel, fantastic value for money”
as always, the room was modern, with all facilities, and the service was great. we arrived very early in the morning and could check in early, which was very convenient. the location is great, a few steps away from the tube station and from some main tourist attractions (e.g. tower of london). we will definitely go back to apex (both to this one and to their other one in wall, which we also very much like).
Exceeded all our expectations”
We booked a deluxe room, the staff were friendly and very efficient during our stay. The huge room was stylishly designed and perfectly clean with a sofa, 2 large work desks, a 100” flat screen TV and Bose sound system, kettle and a safe, plus a separate shower and a deep bath to soak in after a day’s walk about. Tower Hill tube station only a mins walk away for Central and District Lines and bars and shops are close across Tower bridge.
Contemporary hotel located in east London very near the Tower Bridge. We used this a base for visiting the Tower, Tower Bridge, Eastbank (the Old Globe, farmers' market, great pub tours). A long taxi ride if coming from Heathrow, but several of the transport services have fixed prices from airport to hotel, so this was not a problem for us.
Very nice and modern but a bit out of the way”
This is an extremely nice hotel that is full of good surprises but it is better suited to business travelers as opposed to tourists who like to walk everywhere. That being said, there is a Tube stop and several bus stops nearby to take you wherever you want in minutes.
I stayed at the Apex hotel on a business trip to London. I found the hotel to be clean, comfortable and close to both public transport and the city. The rate included breakfast, which was continental and throughly sufficient. Staff were extremely helpful. All in all, an excellent business hotel in the centre of the city.
Excellent Hotel near Tower of London”
3 minute walk to Tower Hill Underground stop, 4 minutes to Tower of London. Staff will do anything to help you have a good trip.
Comfy and modern. Close to subway ”
Be aware of adhoc tube closures
