“THE BEST HOTEL IN MY TAIWAN TRIP”
There are a lot of hotels around Sun Moon Lake (SML). Finding one that suits our expectations and budget is not easy. If budget is no issue, then booking in Lalu Resort or Hilai is probably the easiest way, since they are top notch and well known. This hotel, however, totally made us fell in love upon stepping foot. The hotel itself is not big compared to its neighbors, but the lobby is tidy, with clean marble floors and a hint of Japanese style decor. The front desk uncle (I presume he's the owner or boss), is very helpful and thoughtful, explaining about things to see and do in SML area, as well as recommending some restaurants to eat in around the hotel vicinity. When we entered our room (MAKE SURE TO BOOK THE LAKE VIEW ONE), we are blown away. We chose the Japanese style room, and it perfectly suits our expectations - it has a clean floorboard with a tea table like in the picture, plus the view from the balcony is so breathtaking! The bed is nice and plushy, toilet is minimalist but clean, and the breakfast is straightforward but quite fulfilling to go for the day. The hotel is very conveniently located nearby Shuishe Harbor where you can get on the boat to cross the lake to Xuanguang Temple and Ita Thao. WE LOVE THIS HOTEL. EVERYONE WHO COMES TO SML SHOULD STAY HERE!
