This Italian-style property is located within the Taipei’s Beitou district. Xin Bei Tou MRT is just a five-minute walk away, and the Wen Quan Road allows direct access to the downtown area. Beitou is well-known for its revival of the hot spring trend, and guests will have plenty of opportunity to enjoy a healthy warm bath. Aquabella Hotel offers simple spring bathtubs, which take only six minutes to fill up. The hotel also adopted the Negative Ions Refresh Air System air conditioning, creating a rejuvenating atmosphere. Guestrooms help emphasize this hotel’s coziness with their elegant and warm design. Spacious and comfortable stay”
Spacious and clean room. Relaxing in room onsen. Nearby MRT station and beitou attractions. Nice breakfast. Glutinous rice balls are served in second day. Laundry service charged at NT10 only. It would be better if bathrobes were provided.
Great Hospitality and Amenities”
Other than the up-slope which will be a problem if you have huge wheel luggage, the hotel is awesomeness in a bunch. Hospitality from the staff was great, the in-door spring bath was good. Rooms were really spacious and great for family of 3-4. Slightly on the pricey edge, but worth the spend.
Overall is ok. ”
Ceiling is very low. Facilities are getting old. Staffs are helpful. Overall, an ok experience.
A Commendable Three Star Hot Spring Hotel in Beitou, Taiwan ”
First time to go there with my wife solely for hot spring bath and relaxation in Taiwan at short week end. It's very near the centre of the small town with only about 10 minutes walk to MTR. The facilities of the hotel (3 stars) are acceptable and the staff are very good in reception and make you feel comfortable at home. The breakfast which is inclusive are beyond my expectation. As a customer and in view of a 3 stars hotel, I would recommend this one to my friend for a holiday.
We live in 3 night, spa is very good and big in the room, breakfast all the same in 3 days morning.
Excellent facilities ”
We were kindly upgraded to the large Vouge room and the facilities are wonderful. Bathtub was huge and spring bath was very enjoyable in the room. The hotel is along a steep slope and about 5mins away from the station. It's ok to walk down with the luggage but not a good idea going up.
Nice luxury feel”
Nice luxury upgrade to bigger room.'huge clean toilet. Seem to be short of staff at sometimes (called operator 2-3 times to try to replenish toilet paper!! but no one picked up); however staff will take initiative to bring item left at lobby. Overall still good experience with fantastic room upgrade experience
This is the 2nd time I visited this hotel”
Location: It is quite near to the MRT station if you know the short cut. There is a 7-11 directly opposite of the hotel. Cleanliness: The hotspring tub, toliet, bed are generally clean, given that the hotel is a little old. The room is quite big, enough space for 2 luggages to be opened up at the same time. Staff are quite friendly and helpful.
The special late check-in deal is an excellent bargain. My girlfriend and I decided to try out the hot spring and booked this accommodation at the last minute. We were welcomed by friendly staff and was told our room has been upgraded. The room is neat and clean. The overall decor for our room is toward modern/contemporary, great ambiance lighting. Ideal for couples. The spacious bathroom/spa are a bit intimidating at first, but no compliance here. The free breakfast bar is an added bonus to the already excellent bargain. Will definitely stay again if given the chance.
The hot spring tub is the room is the best part. Every staff (including the restaurant staff at breakfast) provided extra mile services; one was also very endearing and offered us an umbrella when it started raining even though we did not ask for one, and made a very good recommendation to visit the nearby morning market. Room was very large, clean and comfortable but could have some hooks and bars to hang towels/clothes (there was none so it seem strange that this was overlooked when the room was built). All in, a very pleasant 2 night stay. You can book a cab to TY airport through the hotel for 1300nt.
The room size for this hotel is adequate for two persons staying in it. We were allocated a room on the second level with the private onsen in the room. The toilet is big, with the onsen bath, the bathing area and the wash basin all in it. However, if the hotel could put a glass divider at the bath area would be better, so the bath water will not splash over the the wash basin area. The Breakfast spread is not that much, but sufficient for me though; and the breakfast area is a little cramp. The check-in timing at 5pm in the evening is a little late.
Nothing less than Great”
The hotel was great! We were warmly greeted with a free upgrade to their grace room. The toilet was as big as the room, and the tub was huge and clean! Additionally, they serve daily desserts and fruits too! Not forgetting the breakfast! Was really good considering the small size of the hotel. Probably the only bad thing about the hotel is the location. You would have to walk a big turnaround to reach the hotel if you are traveling with bulky luggage. If not do ask the staff for the shortcut to the MRT. Talking about the MRT, do take note that you will have to alight at Beitou and change to Xin Beitou. Although it is only a stop away, the train is traveling slower than a bicycle and it will take 5 mins from beitou to xin beitou. Since there is only one train, it means that you will have to wait for 10 mins to go to xin beitou should you miss the train. Do have this mental preparation. The hotel has a small gym too (on level 5) with towels, a bicycle machine and a tummy shaker. They do have washing facilities as well. Overall, the hotel stay with Aquabella was one of the best for my trip thus far! I would definitely visit this hotel again should I return to xin beitou.
Value for Money! One of the best hotels in Beitou!”
My wife was not feeling well during the visit and we got early checked-in and free upgraded to a bigger room! The staffs were very friendly and well-trained. In the room, they provided complimentary wifi, fruits, mineral waters and isotonic drinks. The hot spring is very comfortable. Breakfast was good as they provided mixed oriental and western breakfast. We also kept our luggage at the counter after checked-out, where we visited several places surrounding before we leave beitou. Highly recommend for staying in this hotel!
modern & clean hotel, relaxing & quiet surrounding”
It was a bit difficult to find the hotel, we followed the map & took a long way to reach. After we arrived, the staff taught us a short cut which is the hiking trail beside the TKK fast food store. The room was nicely designed but much smaller than the bathroom. The hot spring was great but need to mix with cold tap water otherwise have to wait for the temperature to come down. No separate shower room, so the floor gets wet after each use. The toiletries are quite unique which look like test tubes & there are even a tube of bath salt & a tube of facial wash. The breakfast area was compact but full of choices. Overall quite good & would definitely recommend.
It's a famous place for hot spring in Taiwan”
It's located in the famous hot spring area in Taipei, and the design of the hotel is quite fancy and comfortable, the only disadvantage is the seats for breakfast are not enough, we waited for about half of hour, and the time we are allowed to have breakfast is 10 mins before they stop offering the breakfast, so we had a nervous breakfast time.
Luxurious, great staff, definitely worth the price”
I have been travelling around and Taiwan isn't my first. For a hotel paying this much, I know when i've received a 5-star treatment. This goes for the lady recept whom arranged an almost-immediate check in for me when she realised that I was having a high fever. Honestly, i am a very picky person. If i pay an amount, i would expect a minimal quality corresponding to it. Aquabella, deserves more. Not only the room was posh, comfortable, with clean white sheets. There was a mini bar, big flat screen television, and here comes my favourite - a huge bathroom with a big hot springs tub! It feels very much well handled by the people in charge of cleaning. (I did test if they really washed the tub properly everyday and am pleased to say they really did.) Breakfast was an array of choices. Last but not least.. in haste, my partner and I have left our large 5kg package and only realised while on the plane. They were absolutely patient and have helped me throughout to ensure the receipt of my package back to me, despite our language barriers (I only am able to speak fluent basic chinese whereas their accent is a little hard to comprehend). The only trouble we had was that they were going through a minor renovation right outside my room nearby, which woke me up. Upon leaving, the person repeatedly apologised. I guess it is not of their fault as their common practice is waking up very early in the morning. Moreover, having minor upgrades/repairs can only be beneficial for tourist stays. (Most might not even bother, so to cut costs?) In conclusion, both my partner and myself are very pleased with the hotel & have been speaking about this place ever since. We will definitely make our way there again. Thank you aquabella!
I've got a unforgettable experience: During check out, receiption help to call a taxi as we would like to go to taipei by train. however there were no taxi available at that moment. Then I brought along with my 4 years old son, three big baggages to walk down to the street. when we step out to the street, there was a nice lady asked us where to go, and we said we would like to go train station. She took a look on us, said there were difficult for us to walk with kids together with 3 big cases. then she said she can drive us down to the beitu station, wow, such a good news to us. When we got on to her car, she asked us where to go, we said we would like to go to taipei station. Fortunately, she said she were going to taipei station too, and she was able to drive us for free !!!! within 45 mins drive, she introduced many travel tips for Taiwan for us, we had a joy journey and grossip! And finally she picked us to the hotel directly in Taipei, we discovered that she is the boss of the hotel. What a nice place, nice person and hotel. Thank you very much Miss Chen, I will come back to your hotel and recommond friends to come!!!
lovely spectacular relaxing”
the personal spa bath is spacious, private, well equipped and efficient. it only takes 6 mins to fill the huge spa bath. the hotel was well decortaed with real flowers, ikebana. ( japanese style flower arrangement.) the lighting is romantic. they serve sweet , the one my grand mother fed me when i was young. it is lovely.
Good location and great bathroom.”
this is our 1st time to taipei and aquabella ia our 1st stop. at first, when we entered the room, we were a bit disappointed with the small room (though it's really well furnished) but when our kids opened the glass door to the bathroom, they were overwhelmed! the bathroom is about the same size as our bedroom! a huge bathtub awaits us :) and what more - spring waters right in our room. we really enjoyed the soak each night.
Smell smoking room, dirty towels”
We went to this hotels every time when we traveled to Taiwan, we could see that this hotel is not maintained its quality as usual. In the beginning, the room we checked in smell strong smoking. If they clean up the room, they should know it, but the front desk pretending not knowing. After switched to different room, towels seems has been used many years and some of them have stains. No hair conditioner and no little snacks as before. The breakfast bread tasted not fresh.... not recommended.
