Excellent value for money ”

Simple, self contained apartments with awesome views from every room ..I always stay at Aquarius whilst in Townsville .. As a business traveller as the don't have room service or mini bar it could be more convenient if they arranged a local restaurant/ takeaway place to deliver

Exceptional”

Both times I, and my husband, have stayed we needed to extend our stay. This was not a problem, and was appreciated very much! Our son is undergoing treatment in Townsville, where he lives, so each time we come up to see him, we will be staying at Aquarius! Thank you, for making our sad times a little easier 😊

Very good”

We were Lucky to find suitable room in Townsville for May long weekend . Bit disappointed were weren't able to stay longer to enjoy the facility considering thw rate we paid. Won't hesitate to consider Aquarius on the Beach again if we require accommodation in Townsville.

Great location on the Strand,”

Tha Aquarius is in the best location for value for money. Excellent restaurants close by. Rooms are very comfortable with good beds. Best to request a room on Level 5 or above to take advantage of the fabulous views. Staff very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for good position and value for money.

Great water views”

Two nights stay at the Aquarius on the Beach was very pleasant with it's central location and great water views. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Worth paying the bit extra to secure the location of a higher room.

Great stay”

Our week at the Aquarius was great. The pool was clean and the staff very friendly. The location is terrific with a view looking out over the sea and Magnetic Island magnificent. Well worth another visit.

Great location overlooking the ocean”

This was a pretty simple hotel located right on the Esplanade with a decent number of restaurants next door. We had a 11th floor room facing the ocean for a decent price. Being the tallest building in Townsville, it gives you great views even though the hotel seems slightly old.

Neat clean and prime position”

Stayed for two night and whist I had a belief it was a little more modern than what eventuated, it was perfect. It is neat, clean, the staff are amazing and you will struggle to find a better location. I loved my stay and will be back when in Townsville. Give it a look.

Great spot! ”

Good spot to stay in townsville. Close to cafes, restrauants and wonderful walking track along the Strand, Have a steak at the Seaview Hotel...... Excellent!

Excellent location, beach apartment style ”

We stayed at the Aquarius around Christmas Day. While the hotel services were reduced during the holiday period, we had no problems checking in using Agoda and were received quickly and promptly. The balcony was excellent with a view over the Promenade and water. The only downside was the condition of the flooring, bathroom, overall furnishing. The furnishings were well used, not run-down, but well used. Apartment style

Beautiful view”

We enjoyed our stay at Aquarius On The Beach. The rooms although not luxurious were more than adequate and the service was fine. Only disadvantage about re-booking at this hotel was the car parking. The carpark was always full and we had to park our car out on the street in front of the hotel.

Wanted peace and got a good deal”

I wouldn't have been happy to pay the full price but with a good deal this place amounts to a fine option. It isn't fancy but it does have a comfortable configuration, access to kitchenette (microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge etc,), a comfortable bed and seating area and it has a great view from every room. I couldn't hear my neighbours at all. I found my room clean and staff kept it that way

Great location, outdated hotel, ok staff”

Location on the Strand was great but the hotel is pretty dated, and hotel staff was ok.. if you don’t want to spend too much money and stay in this area of Townsville, it’s worth the money.. No restaurants or cafe in the hotel but there’s one next door called Watermark.

I always stay here when im in Townsville as its the best location with stunning views and nice restaurants nearby.

Aquarius was the best part of our stay!”

We arrived very late (about 11pm) and we were looked after a man (who may have been the owner!) who was very friendly and efficient. And i was excited that we were on the 7th floor. The room was clean and modern and had a kitchenette, bath and a balcony! The view of the lights was spectacular. I'll never forget waking early and having to sit out on the balcony to watch the sun rise. Later, after a little more sleep, I sat on the balcony to watch a ski race and the stunt plane. It was all just magic. Also I noticed that it was very quiet in our room. I could not hear other guests.

Great location on strand ,walk to restaurants ,beach, beautiful views from room, away from business area. Only 5 min by taxi to airport and SeaLink to Magnetic Island

Amazing Staff and View”

The room is small but the view was spectacular. The staff were just incredible. Everyone at the front desk and the room attendants were so helpful and friendly. This is one of the friendliest and happiest work places I have ever stayed in and I am so pleased it is in my own country. Well done to the Management for ensuring all your staff are happy and content. It makes a huge difference on the level of service. Great location, spotless rooms with phenomenal view and outstanding service. I love this place and cant wait to stay there again.

Lovely hotel on beach front”

A great place to stay. Although its a bit of an eyesore on the beach front it is in a great location. Large comfortable rooms, with mini kitchen. Good sized bathroom. Very clean.
