Amazing experience at Alisa Premier Cruise !!”
Alisa premier made my day. I went to Alisa Premier Cruise to celebrate my wedding anniversary on 24th February, 2023. It was such a lovely experience at Alisa. Let me tell you in detail. At the time of booking and payment - I booked Junior Suite but thanks to the courtesy provided by Nelly (Alisa) that i got a room upgrade. I expected the Senior Suite as a room upgrade but Nelly provided me VIP room which is the top category of room in the cruise. This won my heart. That was such a wonderful gesture by Nelly. Lemousine travel to and back (Hanoi-Halong Bay-Hanoi) - Timely 8:15 AM Limousine arrived at my Hotel. Nice service. Good comfort. Water bottle was given. You should always book the Travel from Alisa only. Next day Limousine dropped me to my Hotel at Hanoi. You will reach back to Hanoi by 2:30 PM. Experience @ Cruise - Top class VIP room. Other rooms were also amazing. Amazing food. Very clean 5 star cruise. Staff is highly courteous. You will just love each and every second that you spend on cruise. The best thing is Alisa Premier Cruise is always on time. Be it leaving the harbour, coming back, meal times or activities. Happy hours starts at 6PM and ends at 7PM. During happy hours you get 1 drink free on 2 purchased. The drink prices are reasonable. The crowd that come to the cruise is niche. And you will just love the time you spend with fellow travellers. Karaoke’s were fun. In a nutshell, i gave my wedding anniversary day in Alisa’s hand. And they turned around the day in one of the best days of my life. Cheers to Nelly for everything 👍
A sweet escape ”
I made a right decision when I decided to cruising Halong Bay with Alisa Premier Cruise. The ship is not to big so the passenger is not too many that makes the trip feels personal and intimate. The room is nice and clean, we got a private balcony with a big window on the bathtub area. The bed is nice and firm, the bathroom is clean, the interior is a bit vintage (but it's okay because i love vintage stuff). The manager/tour guide (Smith) is very communicative, funny, and informative. The food are great, especially the dinner menu. I enjoy my stay in Alisa Premier Cruise for 2 days 1 night. Thank you so much for making it a perfect sweet escape for us.
Amazing trip! ”
Went on an overnight cruise and tour with Alisa Premier Cruise on Feb 27-28. We were picked up right from our hotel in Hanoi old town and boarded the ship in the afternoon. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. Also the crew were very welcoming and food was delicious. We were also able to befriend many of the fellow travellers from all over the world, which was a plus. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience cruising through Ha Long Bay ! (Also squid fishing was surprisingly fun! Group only caught 1 squid - which we let go, but still a unique experience)
Could have been 5* ”
We ran into an issue from the very beginning of onboarding where the booking staff did not share changes to our reservation - there was no transparency for the changes which was a huge inconvenience. Had we known about the changes beforehand, we could have voiced our concerns instead of being stuck in a boat. The booking staff provided compensation, which is appreciated, but we already felt like this wasn't enough. Through text messages, emails and an in person conversations, we expressed our frustration with the booking staff. From what it seems like, they were understanding - I hope they've learned to be transparent with ALL GUESTS booking reservation changes moving forward (prior to onboarding them). Despite our issues, the onboard staff, facilities and food were 5 star ratings. We are disappointed that we couldn't rate this a full on 5 star but hope they improve their communication for future guests (as they said they would). As a future customer for other excursions, a major takeaway is to connect with the operator in advance and confirm that there are no changes to your booking. Another is to check and see if you are being placed in a cruise with a 25+ party while you and another couple feel like the odd man out. The operator should really consider implementing a policy where large parties (25+ people) should buy out the cruise ship instead of sticking 2 couples unrelated to the party with them. We felt second to this group as their needs were taken into account prior to onboarding and catered to while we were left unaware of such changes. Communication and transparency is key for the booking staff. A huge shout-out to Mr Smith (assistant manager/tour guide) and James Bond (onboard manager) for making our overnight cruise bearable. Also the rest of the onsite staff for doing that they can.
Will not recommend ”
It was not a good experience for me. The crew members, although friendly, apparently are lack of training. They don’t speak English and quite often, didn’t know what to do. The manager does speak English but wasn’t interested in customer feedbacks. The shuttle ride was a nightmare. The driver wouldn’t make a stop when my daughter had to use the restroom in urgency. I thought he needed to catch up with the time cuz he was speeding all the way due to late pick up. However, when he finally stop at a rest station much later, he announced a 30 minutes break so he can go for a meal. The seats were extremely uncomfortable. Nobody can sit in a upright normal position. And for the cruise, I booked a cabin with private balcony but was assigned to one without. The lighting in the bathroom couldn’t be turned off, even when I tried to take out the room card to cut off the electrical power. I couldn’t sleep well at night when the light coming through the glass door shinning directly to my face. Welcome lunch was served late. And my daughter never received her vegetarian meal. (Another vegetarian party did) The manager was aware of that but didn’t say anything. Not a word of apology. The squid fishing activity was cancelled without any explanation. I guess it was due to the fact dinner was again delayed. Spotty WI-FI was only available in the dinning room and only for the first day. I don’t mean to discredit everything. After all the scenery was beautiful. The very late dinner was delicious. And they did offer free drinking water in the dinning room. I hope they try to fix the problems and bring management up to certain professional standard. Before then, I wouldn’t recommend this cruise to anyone I know.
