Great place to relax”

The place is good, very relaxing esp. if you go there with your family and friends. Stayed the whole day in the beach. Would recommend using the beach of Amara Rasidence itself. Beautiful and very clean beach, one of the best I guess in Batangas. Will definitely go back:-)

big room with jacuzzi”

The picture they showed in agoda doesn't do justice. The room is so big. 2 big rooms plus sala, dining area, cooking area and jacuzzi at the balcony. Amara's pool is nice also. Just a walking distance from the rooms. You can also get a free access to terrazas de punta fuego (3 mins drive) and club punta fuego (10 to 15 mins drive). room has a capacity of 6 person ( you have to pay 1,500 each in excess of 2 person) will definitely go back to this resort one of these days =) con is there is no telephone in the room. if you need to call the reception you have to use your own cellphone. got no free wifi too but mobile signal is strong.

Our Preferred Beach Place in the South”

Our 2nd time at Amara, 3rd at Punta Fuego. Always been a fave beach place in the South, my kids already know the place and are comfortable with the environment. Got the room for a bit lower price as it was still lean season, beach at the Terrazas and at the Peninsula were a bit murky and with resins due to the frequent rain the past week. Water at the pool in all 3 locations (Amara, Terrazas & Peninsula) was cold but acceptable, there were few guests so you'll have the feel that you own the whole place. Staff during the day at Amara were just 2, but they amazingly accommodate all checking in/out guests, they would even clean the rooms & attends to other guest queries. Facilities are clean and well-maintained, still has the sophisticated look and peaceful ambiance. I already fell in love with the whole Punta Fuego property and would like to either own a property or be a member of the Club Punta Fuego. Over-all, I'm still satisfied and happy with the experience at our Amara trip. Will still look forward to more visits and stay.

We've been to Amara Residences quite a few times already and it's always memorable. The beach at Amara is better than the beach at Punta Fuego. What we like about Amara is that the rooms are big and you can always go to Punta Fuego whenever you like. We take our breakfast at Punta Fuego because the buffet is excellent and the view is fantastic.

Over-all stay was great. My kids with their grandparents enjoyed our stay at the resort. It was crowded as it was summer and was a long holiday weekend. There were not much to do at Amara Residences, you have to drive to get to the beach and to the bigger pool. The facility that one can enjoy at AR was their pool close to the gate. The terrace room which we booked has a jacuzzi, my dad's fave spot, that's where he lounged while having his drink. There's a great view of the sea at the deck of Casa Amore. Rooms are very cozy, they're also spacious and clean. The whole place was peaceful and very relaxing. The beach was a bit murky at the time and had plenty of trash as compared to our earlier visit a month ago. The turtle pool was my kids' fave though my eldest almost drowned, the parents around her not even bothered to help her and the pool attendant was not really paying attention. The food prices at Sol Cafe were costly, they were good but it's extremely expensive. The server, when asked, how many people could fit one serving of meal said that all meals are good for 2 people sharing, but they weren't. It's worth coming back for.

its our second time at Amara and it definitely wont be our last.It's really an ideal vacation place.although I would appreciate it more if they would maintain better upkeep of the rooms.the waterstains in the CRs are already showing.aside from that,highly recommended!

Memorable stay”

We have been meaning to visit Punta Fuego properties for quite some time.It was great that I discovered Amara Residences in Agoda.I found the place impressive.The location, security and amenities were very good. The whole family enjoyed the variety of pools and the beach was fairly clean. I personally enjoyed the jacuzzi, felt to relaxed there.The staff,Jessica and Miguel, were very helpful and the guards were equally friendly. It was great value for our money.There really is nothing to complain about. 'will surely come back

Relaxing stay”

Even though we only stayed overnight, we really enjoyed the experience. Overall, the place and the facilities are well-maintained. The atmosphere is conducive to relaxation. The staff are most helpful, courteous, accommodating and organized. The food is quite expensive, although we enjoyed the breakfast fare.

Good Location, Well Kept Facilities”

Beautiful location. Facilities are good, very clean, well kept. Great views! Quiet surroundings. Area for improvement is the restaurant. Food is quite expensive considering the size of serving and quality of food.

Quick Relaxation Satisfied”

Had a good weekend. The resort is superb. It's pricey but I love almost everything about it- really huge guests rooms, nice beach, good cabanas and friendly staff. The Jacuzzi wasn't working but the staff was kind enough to inform us in advance (like upon entry to the room). No wifi though in the room. Wish they could extend time for the use of their facilities. Pool, beach and resto services are closed by 6:00pm. I'm surprised they allow guests to bring in food and drinks. You can borrow kitchen wares. Will definitely go back!

Great Vacation Place”

I wish Agoda or Amara provided more info and photos about this room. I was surprised how huge it was for 2 persons. There are 2 queen-sized beds, walk-in closet, rain shower head, kitchenette, living room with surround sound speakers, dining table that could comfortably fit 6 people and a jacuzzi on the balcony! You can also use both infinity pools of Terrazas de Punta Fuego and Club Punta Fuego. Although, you have to drive 15 minutes to the club, I strongly suggest you spend an entire afternoon there. The only thing we didn't like was the food at Cafe Sol. I get that it's a resort so everything is overpriced but if you're gonna price a sandwich for 350php, might as well make it one good one. I just didn't get the value for my money. I suggest you dine at the club's restaurants instead. Or bring something to cook since the room has a kitchenette and you can request everything you need at the reception. Overall, our stay was amazing. The staff were all nice and accommodating. I would definitely come back again.

For those who will come here for the first time please take note of the following: - You must come here with car otherwise you are no where to go, the downtown is far. - It is not a beachfront, you have to walk and take a stairs going down the beach. - Swimming pool is open until 6pm only. - Restaurant is open until 6pm only. (Many restaurant in the down town). - Beach open until 6pm only. - You can access Punta Fuego but it takes 15 mins drive to reach Punta Fuego. - Not a buffet breakfast, its a set Filipino meal/breakfast. - Cabanas in the beach front cost 1000 to 1500 pesos (whole day use). - Cabanas near the pool cost 500 (whole day use). Room: I choose the sea view, it has 2 bedroom and 2 toilet. It's big room, I can say it's ok, but the room has no life. Aircon very noisy, kitchen is dirty I must say. You have to wash the glasses if you want to use it. No wifi in the room but you can access wifi in the lobby. If you have pocket wifi better bring it. Staff GOOD!

I enjoyed our stay at Amara’s residences. Thay have very friendly and accomodating staff. Clean facilities. But I would like to suggest to improve their services by providing more wifi in the areas. One more disadvantage is that we have to go to a far area to avail of our free breakfast. But aside from that... I really enjoyed our stay at Amara’s.

Great Stay. Value For Money. For Honeymooners”

We enjoyed our stay here because of the room is big for 2 people. It has a queen size bed, large CR, a sala, dining table, even has a kitchen. The best part was the veranda since it has a jacuzzi. The staff were very accommodating and we enjoyed the food for breakfast as well as the amenities especially the beach since there were few people even if it was still summer. The down side was the food. Better bring your own food if you get hungry because we had to go our of the area to buy Mcdo which was about 4-5 km away only. Still, we will recommend this place and will definitely go back.

June 2016 weekend getaway ”

spent an overnight getaway at Amara Residences in Terraza de Punta Fuego. The room is spacious, able to cook our own food. Kitchen utensils are available upon request. The beach and pool is a 3 minute drive. The jacuzzi is also a good option to cap the night away. The price is worth the experience we had. We will be back again.

Spacious and clean rooms, nice resort”

Everytime I would book a resort, one of the things that I consider is the room. I was surprised to see that the unit has 2 spacious bedrooms. The unit itself is big - has dining area and kitchenette, you can even bring and cook your own food. More so, it has a mini jacuzzi right at the balcony. The staff, especially Joemark, was friendly and polite. The resort has a Turtle pool and next to it is the beach. The only downside is that, you need to take 96 steps to go to the pool & the beach, which could be a problem for the elderly (we have a Senuor citizen with us). But if you have a car, going there is not a problem. Overall, it was a very good resort and i would like to come back next time.

Love the experience”

Recently was our second time with Amara. Eversince we booked with Punta Fuego, we love returning back for the room's huge, relaxing place, the staff's good service and the beautiful beach at Terraza's. One thing that I dont like is with regards to the breakfast. Only plated breakfast set menu is included, the restaurant staff were too slow that it ate up almost our time waiting, thus only few hours left before check out and also the taste is not worth the price.

Amara experience”

Good size room with kitchen that proved very useful as the restraurant (poor ambience) closed at 5pm and no food nearby. Make sre you take some food to cook in the room!The whole place shuts down at 6pm so make sure you eat in advance. Two negatives, the pillows are like rocks and the steps down to the beach very demanding! You can use the club Punta Fuego, 10 mins by car, which had more facilities.You need your own transport to make a stay at Amara worhwhile

Perfect for family get away”

Enjoyed our stay here. We will definitely come back. We love the jacuzzi in the balcony, the infinity pool that overlooks the walking distance beach that's clean and not crowded. Our top of mind near-Manila-vacation-home.

I totally loved and enjoyed our stay! Room was clean and so spacious! You can borrow kitchen utensils. Jomar from the reception was so accommodating! You can access club punta fuego when you check in with amara! I love love the beach at terraza! Can't think of any negative thing to say! Will definitely be back :)
