Extremely underrated!”
Ausan cottages is a fantastic accommodation at the centre of Port Barton beach. We had a standard fan room which was spacious, very clean and comfortable - despite visiting during summer our room was cool enough with the fan and we didn’t require the air con. The free breakfast is great, with plenty of choices and large tasty portions. You can walk out on to the beach from the property. The only downside was the poor WiFi, but all of the hotels in port Barton use the same provider so wherever you go the WiFi will be bad. We loved Ausan cottages and would love to return!

got the cottage type room garden view, but it is still essentially beachfront since only the tree house partially blocks the view of the ocean. for 1400, got a fan room for 2 with hot n cold shower with breakfast. u may add 400pesos more to use the aircon (all rooms has AC installed, they have a separate switch to turn on the AC). basic room but it is enough for a few nights stay. no kettle/ref in room but u can always request hot/cold water from the resto. good water pressure in cr and with towels, soap/tissues provided. no shampoo so bring your own. near the coastguard and boatstation for island hopping. have inhouse resto with good food, price is ok, not cheap but also not that expensive. best thing about it is how nice the staffs/owners are, my van to port barton cancelled on me and i had to stay overnight in puerto princesa. other hotels will tag u as no-show but they were considerate and told me that they will reserve the room and not to worry about it. they even advised me of another way to port barton but since it was already quite late, i opted to just travel to port barton the next day. will definitely stay here again next time.

Relaxations, Sunsets & Birds”
Port Barton is an easy 3-4 hour drive from Puerto Princesa and a great place to unwind, and Ausan Beach Cottages offers fun rooms and an excellent patio for watching sunsets. They offer clean, colorful accommodations, excellent service, and good onsite food and drink, where the local birds and dogs provide entertainment as the sun sets.

Beach front, nice clean rooms, nice affordable food at the restaurant, accommodating staff!!! The best :) just a short walk to the village proper. THEY ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS!!!!

Super close to the shore, loved the very powdery white Sands, yummy food, family room is old but huge, and loved the artwork on the wall. Just don't like the yellow buld that makes the room dark.

Special mention to Aries, who is always available to help you. If you need anything from renting scooter or tours around, he is the man. Our only negative point was the lack of seafood (grill fish) on the menu. I would expect more apriori. But ... On the other hand, we stayed at superior room S1 on top of the restaurant. Lovely room nice decoration and no bugs around, no ants or mosquitos, don't know how they managed it but great job.

Great Place”
For information- there is no power in all of Port Barton. The power company pulled out after the storm in December 2021 (their requested rate increase was not approved). Ausan has a generator but they encourage you not to use the a/c. For me it wasn’t an issue. The fan was adequate.. The hotel is great. On the beach. Near the tour launch spot and transportation pick up spot. Sari sari store next door. The staff is very helpful. And the restaurant is excellent.

I love Ausan beach resort, the staff were friendly, the room is clean and lovely we stayed in a cottage room that is made out of quality wood which is sturdy and cool. Its a beachfront so the location is perfect, very tranquil, we also love the breakfast very sumptous with huge servings and tropical fruits are included. Thank you very much Ausan Beach Resort! Will definitively come back and stay longer next time.

very nice hotel with excellent management. nice clean rooms facing the beach. could not have asked for a better location and better hosts. The trips booked from port barton are also much better than those in el nido.

Beachfront cottages”
The family room we got was air-conditioned and that's a plus for people who had long travels from Manila to San Vicente Airport. Though, it's too far, the best way to get there was to ride a boat. It would just take you 45 mins to an hour and voila, you'd arrive in your accommodation. The meal prices are a bit pricey, but we appreciate having the free breakfast. I only ate two times a day, so there's plenty of restaurants when you roam around Port Barton.
