استثنائيّ”
眺望がよく、清潔な部屋でした。広い駐車場もあります。Banaueで最高のホテルだと思います。
charming hotel in this part of the world”
the hotel may be dated but all the rooms are clean and have a great view of some of the terraces. its quiet at night and away from any road noise. the staff is very helpful and are from the area food is priced reasonably well. this is a great jump off point and home base for exploring around banaue
Slowly but surely”
With the best view (from the Deluxe rooms) on the rice fields, this hotel is still the best place to stay in Banaue. But it can be seen very easily that it's a very old building, old furnitures and old concepts. It really do need a good renovation and refurbishments both in buildings and services. The breakfast need improvements, expecially considering that the restaurant serves very good dishes a la carte. Hot water in the shower is amazing in quantity and temperature and it's probably the best "facility" of the hotel.
A thing of the past”
Management would need to sort this hotel out. Friendly front desk staff and waiting staff does not make up for the fact that this reminds me most of a huge Sovjet era communist style hotel, where things have come to a complete standstill. There is no energy, life or atmosphere here, in one of the most beautiful places in the Philippines with the friendliest local people around. But food lacks behind (use all the beautiful local ingredients instead of processed products and frozen cut vegetables), the hotel still have covid-era posters everywhere, tacky Christmas decorations from the 90s, closed souvenir shops, a touch of paint, clean the windows, things are falling apart and maintenance staff / security staff are asleep, on their phones or taking a leak in the bushes on the paths, dogs running around on the premises and so on. This hotel has soooo much potential, but seems it has lost the will to live. For any independent travellers, there must be lots of cosy small hotels around and small eateries in town. This is a "safe" option with cold beers, but even internet is unstable, hot water same and interconnecting doors between rooms so much gap that it feels like you are sharing the room with someone else - and this is an an almost dead hotel with no-one around?!?
Good location and rustic feel but inflexible room pricing”
One of the few hotels in Banaue with parking lots; good for family with kids. Has a pool and view. However, there are more hotels that offer value for money. When my family stayed, we only saw two others who stayed there, which makes the lobby and restaurant very lonely. The front desk staff also nitpicks on your comings and goings because they have nothing else to do. Even going to the lobby toilet after eating at the restaurant ... they'll ask where you are going. Not much guests since their prices are not competitive especially for solo or travelling couples. Even on off peak season ...
