the hotel location is nice with the sea view and landscape it's just located on Chaopao beach if you're with children or elder person well aware you have to walk a little bit on steep hotel way to your room but it seem not too bad as each cabin builed separately, the staffs was friendly and helpful they can speak English.

So peacefull, beautiful and lovely spot in the best part of koh phangan. Very good yoga place just next door and the best food places just few minutes away in srithanu. We stayed in garden view Bungaloes

So relaxing and amazing restaurant! ”

We were there during the Full Moon Party, but you would have never known it with how peaceful and relaxing the hotel and area was. The pool was gorgeous and I was amazed by how beautifully everything was decorated. The restaurant was also so delicious that we ate there both nights. The staff was so kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this place!

I really enjoy my stay in this resort at the start had a mix up with rooms but soon sorted the staff are great here very helpful and friendly the food great too in there own resurant with a little swimming pool the rooms are very nice and stylish if you want a relaxing time this place is for you if you want party stay somewhere else as there not really much happening around this part of the island

The stay here was perfect. We came seeking quiet, ocean view, peaceful ralaxing balcony, good food. All were quietly provided withut ceremony. We enjoyed some seashore time, but mostly wanted to doze, read, eat, and unwind from the city. We did not seek or want much entertainment. We are an older couple, but there were also several young couples as guests, who seemed to have no problem finding entertainment off the site but were happy to come back to the hotel. The ones with very young children were especially well served; the pool and restaurant area right above the beach were pleasant and safe areas for them. A five-minute walk brought us to clutch of mini-markets, Internet and travel stores. The food was exceptionally good, nicely presented. We are so glad to have chosen Blue Horizon from reading previous complimentary reviews.

it was a wonderful stay in beyond the blue horizon resort. we were greeted warmly by the hotel staff and were very friendly until we checked out. the thai food served as dinner and the breakfast were very tasty. i will stay there again in near future

Lovely hotel with amazing views and service”

If you are searching for a silent spot with perfect service for a good price! Here you are! We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every single day. the views from the pool, the restaurant and the balcony of the room are astonishing and amazing! ALso try the food! We didn't have one dinner out of the resort. One reason might be that there are not so many option around but on the other hand, the food is really good and the service is unbeatable! Go for it and enjoy!

Amzing and peaceful hotel”

This hotel is super nice. It only has 9 bungalows, so it is very quiet and peaceful. The area around the pool is great and the view is amazing. The staff is great, and breakfast is also very good! We had dinner there one night and we also liked that. The beach in front of the hotel has very shallow water (in July at least) so it is not great for swimming, but that is true everywhere in Koh Phangan! Higly recommended!!!

Nice place to stay”

Very nice burmese staff, best breakfast, good food (evening), nice place. Unfortenately there are many stairs to go down to the reception, the pool and the restaurant (which was no problem for us because we're young).

Beautiful, Serene, friendly Management”

Koh Phangnan is famous for its moon parties, but the North West caters more to the yogi traveler. This suited me just fine as I was looking for relaxation and from the positive reviews I decided to book at Beyond Blue. The resort was perfect - intimate, clean and spacious bungalows. I booked one of the rooms with direct sea view and it was worth the extra cost - gorgeous views! Breakfast is served fresh ala carte and was diverse enough. For Dinner I recommend you venture out to nearby local restaurants on the Haad Yao strip (mama Pooh! yumyum!) Last but not least the staff was friendly, especially the new manager Kirill who made sure my stay was comfortable and made me feel very welcome. :) If you decide to stay on this side of the island - don't hesitate and book at Beyond Blue - you will not regret it!

Beyond The Blue Horizon...so aptly named”

Our villa was very comfortable. We chose to save our money and not go for one of the villas with a sea view, so it seemed a bit of a schlep down to the restaurant and pool and even harder work climbing the steps on the return trip. But the view across the blue of the pool to the so many blues of the sea and the sky is a view to drink in and savour. I wanted to imprint it on the back of my eyelids for those sleepless nights. The breakfast choice is good. You are presented with 2 rounds of toast, butter and jam as well as fresh fruits and that's before you have made your choice of breakfast. We had mixed experiences at dinner in the restaurant. The first night was fine. We both chose the same dish and they arrived together. After that it was one meal arriving and then the other several minutes later. Not all the meat options were available which is understandable but perhaps it would be better to reduce the options or say to guests it will be available if you mention it in the morning. Minor gripes. We would come back definitely.

You won't be dissapointed!! Everything is on a hill, which is the only small snag in my reviews. Besides that, the staff were incredible,rooms were very clean, pool is a little smaller than what it looks like in the photo but super nice, and the breakfast is pretty yummy! The manager helped us with any questions we had and he also helped set up a scooter rental for us. (a scooter is a MUST) He really went above and beyond and made us feel right at home. We would definitely stay here again!! Oh! and when we had arrived, they saw that we had noted that we were on our honeymoon so they left us a pile of fresh fruit and a sweet letter in our room with flowers on our bed. We loved this! Thank you all so much!

Lovely stay in small hide-away resort”

Stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. Lovely 'villa's', clean, nice and cool. Lisa (the resort manager) is very friendly and helps out wherever she can. Pool is small, but nice to cool off! Great views, lovely sunset. Good choice for breakfast, and good quality. Dinner is good, but a bit over-priced. Good to know that there are enough lovely beach restaurants 'around the corner' where you can enjoy great Thai food, as well as Western dishes! Great place to enjoy the island; recommended to hire a scooter (Lisa can arrange this) for 200 Baht a day. Secret beach is on walking distance; lovely little beach where you can relax, snorkle and have a great meal. Don't forget to visit Koh Ma and enjoy the beach/snorkling. We did a bike tour with Phangan Biking Tours (pick up from resort and drop off for 100 baht a person), GREAT tour, also highly recommended!

Beautiful place to stay”

The German managerin and her team is great. She gave us many great advice to discover the island..for example...great thai food by jing jing kitchen, professional diving with the pirate's dive school, wonderful thai massage on the haad salad beach and so on...we could borrow some snorkel and mask and a kayak for free and many things more. The pool was fantastic...the bungalow too...yes it was great.

Charming, Relaxing & Worth the Money”

During our stay we appreciated the very friendly and charming staff, the cleanliness and high quality of the accomodation. Everything seems to be at its right place and you feel very comfortable right after arriving. There are only 9 Bungalows, they are actually like little villas, and hence the place is very cozy. Absolute worth the money.
