Wonderful Stay in Canary Natural Resort”

We checked-in around 9.30pm and the staff were thoughful enough to wait for our group and brought us to our room immediately. The breakfast was so awesome that we were served American breakfast with a variety of bakeries also the unlimited choices of freshly brewed coffee and tea. You could buy some own grown organic coffee beans back home with you. It is a bit difficult to look for one another within the resort at night; a resort site map should be provided to ease looking for one another.

This hotel is about 15 minutes outside of CR. It is a beautiful location but not near restaurants or shopping. Staff was nowhere to be found. Restaurant was closed and no answer on the phone to get room service or talk about no hot water in the room. Zombi Appocalypse?

Arrived from airport for 1st night of what was to be a 6 day stay. No greeting just taken straight to cabin. Told to wait outside while staff removed his belongings. Room filthy, shower crawling with mould, sheets slept in, no tea, but kettle supplied. No kitchen open as arrived at 5.10pm. No food for 5 miles and no car. No staff anywhere to request change of room. Too late to call for a driver from town to immediately vacate. Shower mould beyond foul, no water pressure, no wifi, no food, no staff, no care. Horrible shock after being so used to Thai hospitality. Called for taxi and checked out first thing next morning. Agoda very obliging and prompt in refunding the canceled 4 nights. We picked this out of the way resort due to the reviews on their website. I don't know who writes them but I suggest you do not believe a word. These people are beyond rank amateurs. Do not was waste your money or the considerable money it costs to be driven there. If there was negative ranking this place would be it.

The hotel was very understaffed. While the staff were friendly & helpful, service particularly breakfast took a long time. 30-45 minutes for fried eggs, sausage & ham for 3 people when we were the only ones there was very disappointing. Our room wasn't cleaned up the next day either. Although it was low season, the hotel didn't have enough staff to sufficiently serve the one room of guests they had. Considering the price, not much value for money for the stay.

The owners were out of this world friendly. They grow their own coffee and roast it on location. Beautiful natural, organic surroundings with rice paddies and rivers.

Very good air with forest feeling but too much mosquito. night time is very lound in my room with water pump make me can't good sleep, that's a shame for all view in this hotel.
