A great value alternative to El Nido”
I was pleasantly surprised with my 3-night stay at Casa Rosa. The views of the fort and sea are superb. The staff are extra polite and helpful. The prices are more aligned with the Filipino hotel market (in contrast to the over-priced hotels in nearby El Nido). The food was very good. There’s always an activity to do, such as island hoping, organized by Casa Rosa, so you will never be bored during your stay (I recommend Isla Blanca). To name a few negatives, a day went by without the room being cleaned (the cleaning person had her day off), there’s no air conditioning (and it does get very humid and hot!), the hilltop hike to reach the hotel can be difficult to some (ok for me). Also be aware that Taytay has only one ATM machine and MasterCard is not accepted (I ran out of Pesos in Taytay and had to settle my bill at Casa Rosa with dollar cash, as they don’t accept credit card payment). In summary, I do recommend staying at Casa Rosa.

Great location, comfortable rooms”
Beautiful location just on the hill on the edge of the town, view from the room over the bay. Also a great view from the restaurant balcony. Food was nice but a little expensive and designed for western tastes. The staff were really nice and helpful and allowed us to store our bags for the day after check out.

Value for the money with amazing view”
Casa Rosa is your go to place in Taytay. The view is amazing and it is far enough from the village to be peaceful and quiet. Their food is also good at the restaurant. Throw in a complimentary breakfast and I will give you five stars :)

Great View, Okay Cabins”
The view is why we stayed here and it’s great. A short walk will get you to the fort or the market. The restaurant is okay. Good pizza. The staff needs more training. The staff is not very attentive or proactive.

Fantastic”
Beautiful accommodation with a great view over the fort. The staff are super friendly and the restaurant provided some of the best food we’ve eaten in the Philippines! Only minor downside is the lack of hot water. WiFi worked really well. Taytay itself is awesome and shouldn’t be overlooked by tourists. Thanks for the brilliant hospitality guys xx

the location is at the center of town proper. but in actual it is not accessible to older people and with disability. the cottage is quite creepy outside because it stands alone from other cottages and the path going there is steep. Inside the cottage is clean but there are ants and insects and a small frog. the bathroom is good but they provide limited bath supplies. they dont have tv and also dont have WiFi. over all what i paid is not the worth of the service they have.

Didn’t stay - No response to emails ”
We were booked to stay at this hotel but when we tried to change some plans, the hotel did not respond to any of our emails. I sent maybe 4 or 5 through Facebook, email listed on the site, etc. No response. It is worth taking this into consideration before booking.

Magical spot”
Having stayed here for several months in 2011, while doing my PhD research here, it was an absolute pleasure to come back and find it very much the same - only with the addition of wifi (albeit slow) and hot water for the showers. And Taytay now has 24-hr electricity (albeit with some brownouts). The view from the restaurant is absolutely spectacular - mesmerizing - and the luxuriant garden setting is tranquil. The cottages are comfortable and spacious, and Cottage 3 in particular has a beautiful view. The staff are kind and accommodating. Though they are sometimes lacking in food options (Taytay is not always the best-connected market in terms of produce, etc.), I enjoy the food. Being at Casa Rosa really feels like you are somewhere special.

Only place to Stay in Taytay”
Probably the only place you can stay in Taytay. The reason we wanted go there was the trip to Malampaya Sound, which didn't work out. They offer also other trips but for unreasonable price. We did a trip to lake by ourselves and paid 10 % of the price they offered us. We paid for 3 (2 adults, 1 kid), but our son got just a deck chair with no mosquito net (which is definitely needed). The net for master bed was good. The room as such wasn't bad, restaurant also OK but with so many mosquitoes and super slow staff. Everything took them soooo long, even we were one of the few guests. In general, the place is not bad but too pricey considering that they really don't offer anything extra. The worst thing is that there is really not much you can do. No beach around, no trek, just the lake.

Lovely hotel, good food.”
We stayed here for one night, on our way to Noa Noa. The food was very nice, and also for a good price. We loved the view from the restaurant, and we also made a small trip to the fort, very nice sight. We took a tour to the lake close, but that was quite expensive (in comparison to tours in El Nido en Puerta Princessa). Room was great, big and very clean. Bed was a little to soft for my liking, but nevertheless very nice and big. Good bathroom too. Great location in a lush garden.

Nice cottages positioned for privacy and great view towards the sea. The restaurant offers great food as well as best view you get in TAY TAY. If you are looking for a nice place to stay at, look no further, you won't regret it.

Simple yet Relaxing”
After getting back from El Nido Resorts, Apulit Island we stayed at Casa Rosa. Though this does not compare to El Nido Resort it did the job. This was just a quick stop over before we headed south to Sabang (UGR). Casa Rosa was very simple. The eating atea was nice. Very relaxing. Its nice to be away from the crazy city. They offer board games and cheap food + alcohol. During our stay here we spent probably 5 hrs in the eating area enjoying the view. ( It was raining also so we were limited to outdoor activity - this was the closest thing) Reception areanged a tricycle driver for us at 3.30am as we requested. Nice and friendly staff. Thank you. 😊😊
