Great stay! Very relaxing”
Chindonan was a great place to stay at. I highly recommend it. It’s away from the city and it’s so beautiful and quiet. They arrange the pick ups and drop offs for you as well. The staff were all friendly and they warmly welcome you to the resort. They do have a variety of activities you can choose from, like island hopping tours, dive packages, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking or snorkeling. If you are looking to dive, the dive instructors are highly competent and familiar with the different dive sites. I haven’t been on a dive for more than 3 years, however Matt (the dive instructor) was patient and addressed all the concerns I had. I signed up to take my advance dive certification there. He was great! The rooms are cleaned every day. The views from the rooms are amazing. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Overall a great place to stay at.

(Too) short stay!”
We stayed for three relaxing nights in Chindonan Dive Resort and really enjoyed it. We got picked up at the airport and dropped of at next place. On arrival with the boat, we were warmly welcomed with tasty beverage. We stayed in garden view room/hut which was big and comfortable, with private veranda, a/c and fan. During the night, when switched off a/c we could hear some noise (or generator or other a/c?). Breakfast and dinner were included and both very good, changing each day, buffet style. Hot and cold water, coffee, tea is provided near restaurant. No kettle in the room. I went diving in different sites and I can admit the reef is really beautiful and very healthy. As those are places nobody else is going to, it was peaceful and quiet. We went kayaking through nearby mangroves and along the island, it was nice change. I would suggest to put the price on the website as it is paid extra (some other places include in stay). Overall: recommended and would definitely come back.

We had the most memorable stay ever at Chindonan dive resort. First of all the staffs are super friendly. Starting from picking-up from the airport, to boating to the island and accommodation during our stay, everything was taken care of, hassle free. Both breakfast and dinner were included and they were delicious. The resort has a huge and fabulous home reef which is perfect for snorkeling. It is also located close to the wreck sites which coron is famous for diving. Being close allowed us to be the first boat arriving during our morning dives. Besides of the wrecks we were also able to see some of the most beautiful marine life before more people come and scare them away. Despite staying for only a short limited of time our dive instructor Ken really helped us to get the most out our stay. He communicated thoughtfully of our options and came up with a plan that was tailored to our time and needs. We were able to go through our diving certificate courses within just three days. Ken was extremely considerate, patient and detail oriented. Note that the resort is specialized in scuba diving and is isolated on a remote island. It is also built from an eco friendly standpoint meaning that there are no air conditioning and hot shower (hence the power consumption puts too much stress on its surrounding nature). It was cool at night and the water was warm during the day so we didn’t find any problem. Conclusion, highly recommended to anyone who is looking for an great diving adventure or fun water activities in Coron!

Beautiful place, amazing staff, excellent hospitality, unforgettable dives”
We can’t say enough great things about that place. Everything we needed was provided. Our Cottage was spacious, cosy and had everything one needs. They organised everything perfectly for us and we didn’t have to worry about anything throughout our whole stay. They put all their heart and love into that place. You can see and feel this every moment you spend there. Everyone at the Resort was so very kind, warm, friendly, helpful and welcoming. From the moment we arrived we felt like being part of their family. Everything we ate was delicious and freshly prepared. Their Dive instructors and masters are very experienced, competent, passionate and fun. I completed my PADI open water course with their Instructor Sean and couldn’t imagine a more amazing teacher. We had an unforgettable time there and couldn’t have wished for more. There was not one thing or moment which disappointed us, and we will definitely go back. Exceptional

The best place we had in our trip”
The staff is very helpful and sympathetic. Everyone makes you fell at home what you’re not because you’re in paradise. The transfer was perfectly organized, 1 hour navigation in bangka from Coron city. We were welcome by a drink and had the opportunity to go out directly to an island hopping tour. breakfast are simple but good. The dinner is served at 6:30 and always excellent. In between a lunch/snack menu can fulfill what you need for drink and eat. We had a cottage posted just over the main building where from we enjoyed the view and the calm. We just heard the wind breezing trough the trees. It’s ecologically managed why you sometimes have electricity break. Whatever the WiFi is really good when electricity is provided. We can only recommend this place where we had great time.

This time in Coron Island I stayed in 3 resorts and Chindonan is the best! I will definitely come back to Chindonan Dive Resort! Couldn't enjoy it more.... My mom is 60 year old and is a vegetarian but she loves this resort because the people are super friendly and very supportive whenever you have any request. The food is really amazing at Chindonan and also it has great diving instructors, diverse activities of fair prices, customized services... It's perfect for divers and snorkelers! It's also an eco-friendly resort which respects and lives in harmony with nature. The location is very convenient to do island hopping too! highly recommended!!

The perfect island getaway”
My brother and I stayed here last week and couldn't recommend it enough! We ended up extending our trip and completing our PADI open water licence as the instructor we met was so kind and encouraging so we decided to give it a go. It was an incredible experience and Mat made us feel very safe and calm and encouraged us in all the right ways. All the staff were extremely accomodating and at night the most delicious fresh buffet meals were served. Our rooms were spotless and waking up to the ocean view was absolute bliss. I couldn't fault this place at all. I will definitely go back as soon as I can!

Lovely getaway”
Friendly staff, delicious food, value for money! Had my first scuba dive (I have no certification but they offer a 30min ‘Discovery Dive’ which was great. For 900pesos they can bring you via boat to snorkel in 1) coral ‘garden’ and 2) shallow boat wreck. We brought our own snorkel masks but rented their fins. Awesome view, starry starry nights. I even saw a shooting star!

We had the most incredible time staying here. I can’t say enough good things. My husband and I came with our two kids (12 and 13) and it was such a wonderful holiday. My husband and son were able to go wreck diving with the dive master Sean who was brilliant. While the boys scuba dived our daughter and I snorkeled above them. It was perfect. The kids also went knee boarding on the jet ski with Ken who was great with them and they had a ball. We all spent the last day of our stay paddle boarding. The ultimate holiday. Joanna and her staff were absolutely fantastic. If I was going to change one thing I wouldn’t have minded a hot shower at the end of the day, but I am in support of thinking about the environment so it was small thing to have up for a few days.

Good location for diving, food is above average, try their pancake, good taste. Their instructor is trustworthy, and help you review your diving skills, correct pitfalls, and find lots of sea creatures! recommend!

Great for Diving!”
The rooms are pretty with open terrace and an outdoor sofa, it's relaxing. Breakfast is included in your room as long as you don't stray from the eggs and toast (pancakes and other breakfasts items will be charged as written in the menu about 120ph per item). Dinner is also included in your room and is served as a buffet freshly cooked by the staff. Lunch you will have to pay for and it will cost you easily 2 regular mainland meals (around 600ph for lunch and drink), we thought lunch was too expensive especially since you don't have a choice. Warning, the AC cuts from 7AM to 12PM then from 14PM to 16PM. We didn't know and thought we would be able to relax and sleep in but we never could. Diving with Sean (from the in-house dive center) was the best part and the diving spots are just in front of the resort!! Thank you again! Snorkelling around is great as there area lot of untouched reefs around the resort. We would have liked more communications and clear price tabs when we arrived!

Cozy island stay perfect for water activities”
We enjoyed our 4-night stay in chindonan! Beautiful island resort to unwind and scubadive. Also amazing housereef perfect for snorkling, right from the shore. The rooms had a beautiful view but could need a little facelift, especially the bathroom. Staff were very welcoming and overall the whole island had a warm community feel. Delicious home-style food. Scuba instructors were professional and also daytrips beyond diving were easily managed from the resort. After getting engaged during stay, the owner offered us wine for our celebration. What a beautiful gesture, which we valued much! Thanks for a memorable stay!

Terrific island and hotel”
Great hotel with nice location and faculty. Food is alright for me, however, my wife think it is not suitable for her. The facility is simple but clean. Boss ken is quite friendly and my daughter loved to talk with him. The only thing i discontent is the wifi, there is only wifi in the lobby and it is bad connected. Even there is no wifi in the room.

A little piece of eco paradise”
The welcome at Chindonan is second to none. You step off the speedboat from Coron Town to be greeted by Caesar the dog and the team with delicious iced tea drinks. Pierre (the owner) and Matt (the manager) and the whole team were just wonderful for our whole stay. This was the first place we could really relax. The food was delicious, the rooms large and the snorkeling was brilliant! Pierre has worked very hard to keep his piece of paradise as untouched as possible. Electricity is conserved by only being available from 4.30pm - 7am each day in the rooms. The main areas where the kitchen and dining are is powered all day via solar panels. Hot water is not used for the showers which is no problem at all as the shower Water temperature is quite comfortable without heating. The snorkeling around the area is excellent. The house reef is just off the jetty so easy to jump in and float down along the reef to the stone steps at the foreshore. Although we didn’t dive, we would be very comfortable with Matt and his team of instructors if we decided to get our dive tickets. Highly recommend!

A hidden treasure! ”
Accommodations: We had a deluxe Seaview room and it had an amazing view. You can lay in bed and see the ocean through the palm trees. The bed was comfortable and the outdoor furniture was great to chill and have a drink before dinner was served. The bathroom was spacious and the cool shower was refreshing after a day of diving. Being away from the noise of the city was so relaxing. The wifi worked well and we were able to keep in touch with family, friends, and work. Food: The kitchen staff continually made wonderful food. The chicken adobo was my go to for lunch and my boyfriend gradually made his way through the a la carte menu during our stay. Diving: The dive staff were great! We had one instructor and two dive masters on the boat while we were there. We did three wreck dives and one reef dive, all of which were truly amazing and just a few minutes away. After a mention of the benefits of using Nitrox for deep wreck diving we decided to get certified. We spent a couple hours reading the manual one afternoon and wrote the exam that evening. The next day we were analyzing tanks and extending our bottom time exploring two of the local wrecks. Staff: Everyone was awesome! You could see the staff worked as a team and had fun doing it. There was regular bouts of laughter coming from the kitchen and the dive staff kept us smiling 24/7. Thank you to everyone from Chindonan Dive Resort for making our stay memorable :)

Personal View”
Place is nice, quiet, clean, but isolate island. Staff are so friendly, it feels like a big family here. Though there is no stores on the island, the food and drinks are affordable in restaurant. Good for relaxing, will definitely go back again next time 👍🏻
