The staffs were extremely helpful and kind. Location is good, a short 250m walk to Nationale. The area is a residential neighbourhood and i feel safe walking around.
The worst experience in Paris”
I was staying in Citadines Austerlitz Paris on 4 - 6 April for 2 nights. On the first night, I found the sound proofing was so bad, I can hear people moving chairs upstairs and opening the faucet in the next room….. but these are not the worst…. The next morning I was going to an island tour so I woke up at 5:15am, and when I was making my toast with hotel’s toaster, the room was power cut suddenly! It was before 6:00am in the morning, the receptionist didn’t know how to help, I turned on my mobile light until I left the room at 6:15am and let him arrange the next. Also the bathroom heater and door are dirty, the hook on the door is broken. Even Citadines Austerlitz Paris is not a 5-star hotel, this situation is very unacceptable for a normal hotel and it provided a very unpleasant experience for me in Paris….

Con: Located in residential area so not great for a tourist who wants to hv restaurants and shopping options just round the corner. No aircon so need to open window to stay cool. Old Property and no individual shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided, only provide one in all shampoo for hair and body. Pro: Near two metros and straight line to Gare du Nord for connection to CDG airport. Complimentary hot chocolate, tea, coffee, hot water and milk from dispenser 24 by 7.

It needs to go two stop metro, quite inside was near to hospital where had to go, but nice hotel good place few near by restaurants for food.
