Good place to rest after flight or get everything sorted to fly out we found. Was spacious good aircon and roof top pool. For price was good option. Has washing machine and spin dryer so need to hang out after to dry, helpful to know time wise. Rooftop pool and view at night was nice. Overall good value for money. Be aware they ask for 100usd deposit on arrival. There is a Cargills supermarket right next door.

The room was clean and I think it was good for the price. There were some stains on the sheets, but it didn't bother me, and they cleaned every day. There were no tissues or slippers, so it's better to bring your own. There was a hairdryer, shampoo, and conditioner available.

The hotel is an old British style club which is undergoing a renovation. The construction noise was only during the day and didn't disturb us as we were mostly out. The staff is friendly, polite and helpful. Yuhan took good care of us. The location is good and in the middle of the town. The English breakfast is exceptional with delicious bacon, eggs, sausages, potato Kiev, and local croissants. The tea was outstanding. I did not get to sample the fixed menu dinner but dined from the a la carte menu. Carbonara, ox tail soup and spl. Burger. The food is nice but not exceptional like the breakfast. The burger is small and a party not sufficient for one. So not worth the price. The ox tail soup is quite nice. The carbonara is cheesy and creamy but not follow the standard recipe. It's different. It's not cheap but I believe it's worth the 100 $ a night that I paid. Formal wear is required for the formal dinning room. You can borrow some coats & ties if needed. My kids loved the hot water bottles and the 'extremely friendly' staff, & the yummy breakfast but not the creaky floors & windows 😄😄😄 All in all, a lovely hill station experience.

Elegant Hotel is a beautiful hotel situated outside of Kandy in the hills with spectacular views. Room 7 had a sunrise and sunset view with a private balcony. The pool area is spectacular but what really made our stay an 11 out of 10 was Roshan and Dilshan. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, warm and gracious. Every request we had was attended to with speed, a smile and genuine care. The food was also excellent and the chefs should be congratulated on making all the meals we had here so delicious. We ate on the property more than we planned due to how delicious the first dinner we had was. We have been travelling for 68 days and staying at hotels across Southeast Asia and staying at 3 - 5 star hotels and this hotel is an about standout and gem. The front reception team did a wonderful job explaining all the options available and welcoming us into the hotel and room. This has been one of the top 3 hotels in the past year I have stayed at world wide. Roshan and Dilhan thank you for your warm hospitality and exceptional care. A heartfelt thank you to the owner for creating such a wonderful hotel and great culture for your staff and guests.

The bed sheets are smelly and very old. It's not clean.although the place location is really nice.

Had a very memorable stay at Goldi Sands. Location , food , cleanliness all very good. Worth the money.

Highly recommend this place is beautiful 🤩 the view from the pool overlooking Kandy is stunning both in the morning and at night! The staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet (dinner & breakfast) is so delicious.

This is one of the best areas to visit in Sri Lanka. We stayed here for one night and the service was excellent. Definitely great value for money!

I stayed at Club Palm Bay Hotel for a business visit, and my experience was excellent. The hotel provided a quiet and comfortable environment, which was ideal for preparing for meetings and coordinating our project activities in the area. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, allowing me to work and rest efficiently. The hotel staff were professional, friendly, and very supportive. They responded quickly to every request and ensured that my stay went smoothly. The facilities, including the dining area and outdoor spaces, were well organized and provided a pleasant atmosphere to relax after a busy day. Transportation and check-in/check-out were also handled smoothly, making the overall stay stress-free. I appreciate the hospitality and service provided by the team. I would gladly choose Club Palm Bay Hotel again for future business visits.

Thank you for taking care of us for two days. The atmosphere was good since it’s a world heritage hotel, and there were many Japanese guests staying as well. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and was delicious, making our mornings enjoyable. The room had a historical feel to it. I thought the shower pressure might be a bit weak, but it wasn't a problem if I took my time. There was a sense of age, but it was also clean, giving off a European vibe. Since our return flight was late at night, I requested a late check-out, and I appreciate that they accommodated us as best as they could despite being busy. Since it was my first time in Sri Lanka, I’m glad I chose this hotel, which had a good location and excellent service. The Temple of the Tooth was right in front, and access to everywhere was good. I also appreciated the café, which I visited several times; it was reasonably priced and delicious.

Good but food portion is not enough for one person. Food is delicious and place is very nice to stay. They offer hot bath for us free.. beautiful swimming pool there.

The Palms Hotel has a great location, and the food was really good. The beach was the highlight – beautiful and not too deep, making it safe and fun for kids. Perfect spot for a family getaway!

Not cleaned and have alot og mosqitu...and also at night is very noisy with very loud music..not recomended for family
