No Wi-Fi ”
Generally, the hotel was fine as it was on par with others Courtyard by Marriott locations. This major issue I experienced with the lack of Wi-Fi at the hotel. I was informed of the Wi-Fi issue at check-in but the problem was not resolved during my stay. With all the decrease in services as a result of the pandemic, I would hope the hotel would go to great lengths to ensure what basic services and amenities that do offer actually work for guests. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed to learn that I couldn’t depend on Marriott for what’s promised as a hotel amenity. I needed to use Wi-Fi for work purposes, although this wasn’t a work trip, so this experience will definitely affect future work travel using this brand as I need to be able to depend on certain services for my employment.

No tv remote. Phone didn’t work. Could hear guests in both rooms adjacent to ours. Tv only got two channels.

Great place to stay”
My family and myself had an enjoyable stay at the Courtyard Alexandria Pentagon South. I would definitely do it again. The only draw back was not being able to get in the pool because of COVID-19.

Hotel location good. However a few issues which could have been avoided if staff were diligent.”
We arrived on Xmas day and there was no staff available to check us in. One of the taxi staff went looking for the desk staff for us. A few things went wrong during our stay. Air conditioner/heater did not work consistently, no hot water on the first day, shower/bath did not drain properly, and the complimentary shuttle service from Pentagon City Mall failed to show up or came an hour late in the evenings on 3 occassions as the front desk did not inform the driver about us. This resulted in us having to pay for Uber and wait in the freezing cold each evening. Also after we left we found out on checking our bank account that we were charged extra. This was for car parking for 4 days when we did not even have a car. This issue was finally resolved after a few phone calls.
