Great Stay”
Staff was very helpful. The printer was down and I needed to have some paperwork for filing and review for a meeting. The front desk agent allowed me to send files to her email to print. What a save!! When the manager asked me how was my stay, I mentioned no one had come to clean my room. It wasn't a big deal because I did not spend a lot of time in the room. I just said I was surprised no one had cleaned it. The manager promptly deducted one night stay. This was completely unexpected but much appreciated. 10 thumbs up to management and staff
We would not come back”
We stayed for 6 nights in double bed room. Receptionists were nice but we had to queue quite sometime. Room was spacious with big single beds, microwave, coffee machine and fridge. Unfortunately the beds was not comfortable as they were tilted to one side. The bathroom amenities was not complete but there were hair dryer and ironing facility. No daily room cleaning . You have to call the receptionist to request room cleaning, bathroom supply and new towel. The cleaning lady cannot speak English and where always letting the doors bang as they close. Super disturbing as you can feel the shock/vabration through those cheap American materials. There is ice maker machine on each floor (plus point) The breakfast staff was horrible. They treated us like some kind of refugees although we paid room with breakfast. They were always super rude, especially the Hispanic woman with curly hair. They should fire her! Ugly American breakfast menu, almost exactly the same everyday and tasted bad. They would putout whatever was not finished for next day breakfast. People were promises breakfast till 10 am, but the rude staffs closed down the buffet at 9am. Whatever happen to Crown Plaza standard? Pool was still on renovation the whole time so we couldn't enjoy anything. Thankfully there is walmart 25 min walking so we can keep some supply in the room.
Showing it's age”
It just wasn't clean. Our room had the last guests hair still on the bathroom floor. It's showing it's age and not being maintained. Had to man handle the shower to get it to turn on and off. Breakfast was included but they priced it out at $18 and it wasn't an $18 breakfast. Staff was pleasant though.
Okay but not worth the price ”
The property seems to be in fairly good condition despite needing a serious update. The hotel seems to be running only limited services. The pool and fitness room were closed for the next few months. The restaurant is only open for breakfast. The bar doesn’t list hours but it was closed when I walked down there. The staff were very nice. For the limited services, the price is too high.
