Damn value of money, good spacious room, swimming pool... Almost clean. Why almost? Because i encountered a cockroach in the bathroom on the 2nd night. Granted it was a single cockroach but if i can find one with lights on i cant imagine what happens if i turn the lights off.

This is perhaps the best place for the money that I have stayed in while living in Thailand. The facilities, staff, room size, and overall environment exceeded my expectations. Another advantage is that it's less that a 15 minute walk from the "Old" Bus Station which is really brand new and located in the core area of the city. In the future I'll stay here.

diamond lodge has a wonderful feel with lust trees at your window friendly staff, very good breakfast, maybe a few more tourist brochures would help the first time traveller to Chiangria. It is also close to a wonderful restaurant called Baan Sabaijai

good location but bathroom is looking old”
No elevator, so i request to get room at lower floor since i'm travelling with parents, and they granted it. Location is good, very quiet, 3 minutes by tuk2 to the night bazaar, 15 minutes to the airport by taxi. Various choices of breakfast. Room is clean but the bathroom looks little old. The lightning was too dark, and there is a leak when we were showering. Staff were friendly, they helped us to book a taxi to the airport without extra charge.

Large Space, Good Service, Good Location”
Not too far from the city. this property sits on a large area and hence their rooms are large as well. Only problem is, it is a little worn. Knocked my head twice going in to the toilet. If you're on the 3rd floor, good luck with the stairs. Brekkie is decent and good spread. Love it.

Very good buffet breakfast, clean and quiet room, friendly staff, just a 5 minute walk to the bus station via a shortcut lane across the street at the back door of the resort

1) The morning pool has a nice shade of tropical trees. 2) 10 minutes walk from the back door to the Night Bazaar. 3) The room in the building with the reception is very quiet. 4) The shower head in room # 301 has not been repaired even after one year.

Great hotel but through Agoda you can not book breakfast so be prepared to pay 180 per person. However the breakfast is amazing and worth the extra money.

Older hotel”
From the outside, the hotel looks clean and nice. However the rooms are old and dark. The bathroom is open so it means the floor of the whole bathroom is wet after a shower. This is inconvenient when you go to the toilets at night because it is slippery and you need to dry your feet every time you go. The AC was super noisy and the bathroom vent that turned on automatically as you turn the light on was horrendous. Out of the 4 nights we spent there, there was one morning when a Chinese group tour put music and started to dance in the middle of the courtyard at 6:30am, before leaving for their tour. I had my earplugs but given the level of the sound, it woke up everyone in the hotel. When I asked to the reception what this was all about, the lady did not apologize and simply said it was a group tour. The only positive thing was the breakfast. The building was nice and there was a good amount of choice. I won’t come back. I couldn’t wait to leave this hotel.
