Simply amazing deserted island experience”
We loved every bit of our stay here. Everything was just wow. The resort is designed by a local architect and decorated by a local designer so there is a lot of attention to detail. They have an in-house chef and cocktail mixer creating food and drinks that rival restaurants of Melbourne and most importantly at a fair price. The staff are warm and friendly. Will definitely be back in the future. The only change I would suggest is making the free shuttle service more flexible or providing both a morning and evening option. When we were there it was strictly 2pm pick up from Lio Beach and 11am check-out/shuttle off the island.

Amazing location, food and vibe”
We were so ready for our stay at Dryft! Loved the atmosphere here and ethos for no single use plastic. Total switch off with no wifi, no phone signal - great food and choice for the menu each meal time. Andrew was really accommodating and welcoming (we arrived from the mainland just after breakfast had finished and were offered for the chefs to make us something) Bryan and Lucca are both awesome too and made us feel really welcome. You will not regret staying at Dryft - we would highly recommend staying in a 'hive'. Super cool!

It Looks like something from the Movies! ”
I decided to spoil my mother and myself by choosing Dryft instead of one of the other isolated luxurious resorts around El nido! And my god did I make the best choice!! Besides the location of this island and the position of Dryft on the actual island, if you not careful you will never leave because it is so so insanely beautiful! You have everything you need here! I stayed in one of the Hives and besides it being by far one of the best instagram-able features, the absolute luxury of being able to wake up and hear and see the waves crushing on the shore from your door is No:1 for me! I have to mention the service was exceptional! The co-owner faith organized a boat transfer earlier than usual for my mom and I just so we could get to the island faster! We were greeted and assisted from our boat with smiles and fresh coconut water. We got sunscreen when asked (we all know it’s the small things that make a customers experience better) the food was incredible- wish I remember the names of our dishes! And I would like to leave the best for last! The vibe the absolute vibe was energizing but relaxing at the same time! The people was what made my mom and my experience from great to exceptional! The people that work at this location are INCREDIBLE! Thank You!

The best place to relax ”
This place it’s just amazing! It’s a perfect spot to end your holidays and relax on the beautiful beach! We wish we could stay more! Food is so delicious, well presented great choice and reasonably priced. Such a nice atmosphere. Available hassle free complimentary pickup from El Nido at 2 pm. No wifi, no crowd, just nature and relax! Just amazing! I would definitely recommend it!

UNIQUE IN THE WORLD !”
This was definitely the most amazing place we've stayed in our life and the most romantic place to stay as a couple for holiday or honeymoon ! A relax ambiance to chill out away from the craziness of life and cities, we felt like in a dream on our private white-sand beach with turquoise water. There's an amazing boat wreck to explore snorkeling. We fished with local fishermen and the chef cooked our fishes, that's really nice ! The glamping tents are really comfy and far away from each other so you always feel you have space. Tent becomes hot during the day so you can chill by the bar, hamacs all around the place or at the private beach. The chef is really great and food is super tasty, we would have loved a veggie option and less fried food. The best is definitely the beautiful sunset every night that you can never get bored with.

An amazing place to relax on a beautiful beach ”
We had an amazing 2 nights at Dryft, the staff were so friendly and accommodating, letting us leave early to get a flight and even looking after and returning my friends lost kindle! The food was delicious and the tents were beautifully done and comfy. The showers were also excellent for being on a beach! The beach itself is lovely and so secluded you feel like the only people in the world. Thanks for having us and we can’t wait to come back whenever we return to the Philippines!

استثنائيّ”
Truly awesome, had a wonderful stay at Dryft. Staff were very nice, great fun snorkeling during the day and reading on the beach. It is glamping so, expect early mornings and separate toilet/shower but it’s totally worth it. Great place to escape and disconnect from the world for a few days. 3 nights was a good amount, though could have easily stayed one more.

expensive meals from 300--580，no hot water .tents are old .Most worst of all ，they r building new bee hive .so very nosiy in the daytime. And .you could walk to the southern part of the island.The beach is better. there r villages and another beach club and a ship wreck.Althouth the ship wreck is small and not colourful.At night u could see the milky way and lots of stars.Nice！

Nice place but overpriced”
Pros: nice creative treehouse style in a private island. Perfect for unwinding and avoid all the crowd. The hut was nicely designed and so clean. The staffs are friendly. Cons: can only eat at their place because nothing else around but they are so pricey. Food are good but overpriced. Most places can offer at least complimentary breakfast with that price for the room but here's everything is charged. Honestly I'd love to stay here again if the food was not overpriced.

Paradise under construction ”
We had quiet high expectations coming to Dryft, not only was it quiet far away from el Nido town but also highly priced compared to competitors. Advertised as only being able to hear “the sound of waves, the song of birds, dancing of coconut trees, and the laughter of happy people”, we expected a to be able to relax and get an escape from our stressful work life. Unfortunately we were disturbed our whole stay by the sounds of power tools and ongoing construction work that only stopped for the workers lunch break. That way we weren’t really able to chill out at the main house. No apologies, no heads up, excused with “Palawan is under construction atm” Food is highly overpriced compared to other amazing places we were able to stay at that were only a quarter of the price of Dryft and offered a peaceful serenity. The island is amazing and our snorkeling experience was the best we had in Palawan. The place is very detailed designed. Amazing for your next Instagram photo.

It is a nice and calm place, but expected much more for the price we paid. And actually they asked to come for a pick up at 13:30, but we left 14:30... so it was like a waist of time. 1 night was enough for us :)

Island paradise”
This was such a fun experience. My husband and I loved the tent. Daracotan is such a beautiful island. We spent 2 nights in the town of El Nido and it was so busy with all the motorbikes and tourist, escaping to the island was exactly what we needed. The sunset was spectacular and so romantic from our tent balcony.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet hôtel magnifique. L'endroit est magique, sur l'île de Daracotan, endroit reculé loin de la foule de El Nido. Parfait pour se reposer au calme. Quelques difficultés pour y accéder (une seule navette gratuite depuis El nido à 13h),nous avons dû prendre un tricycle (1h et 1500 pesos) pour nous rendre au niveau de la navette bateau Une fois sur place, un vrai paradis ! Tente luxueuse , plusieurs coins détentes, des douches directement sur la plage, toilettes communes mais très jolies et propres. Ils étaient en train de finaliser la construction d'une superstructure en bois pour le chill et le restaurant. Superbe ! Nourriture très bonne, recherchée et variée. Personnel à l'écoute Possibilité de marche autour et de snorkeling très sympa ! Nous recommandons pour les couples cherchant la tranquillité, le calme et un cadre hors du commun. Martin et Fanny

Relax total”
Un auténtico paraíso.El acceso es algo difícil, lo cual tiene ventajas e inconvenientes, 45 minutos en van y 20 minutos en barco, ofrecen sólo un transporte gratuito al dia a las 2pm desde un lugar cerca del aeropuerto, si tu horario de llegada se ajusta a esto bien pero si necesitas transporte privado es bastante caro (2500p). Lo bueno de estar apartado es que no percibes la masificación turística de El nido, tienes una playa paradisíaca casi en exclusiva para ti. Las tiendas de campaña son cómodas , los baños compartidos. Si bien los baños estaban siempre bastante limpios el precio es bastante alto por un camping al fin y al cabo. La comida es muy rica y va variando cada día, sólo que el precio es 3 veces superior a todo lo demás que te encuentras en lugares turísticos cercanos. El personal en general atento, intentan mantener un ambiente relajado y cercano con los clientes. Lo recomendaría sobretodo si lo que quieres es un lugar para desconectar y huir de la masificación turística.
