Wonderful Experience!”
My daughter and I stayed in a superior room at the Duquesne Eiffel Hotel. We had a wonderful stay. The rooms are very clean. There was a good amount of space in our room, and we could see the Eiffel Tower from our window! The receptionst was very helpful, and the hotel was centrally located, close to cafes and restaurants, and to the Metro. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was very good value for money.
Best stay with friendly staff”
Out of my surprise, the staff was very friendly in this hotel with 24hrs reception. Even when we arrived very late for the check in, the staff was eager to help us and even introduce the specialties in Paris to us. He let us know how to go to the Palace of Versailles by train and where to enjoy the view of Eiffel Tower etc. Also, the restaurant for the breakfast in the hotel also amazed us as it was nicely decorated as if we were eating in a cave. Only one thing that was a bit disappointed is that the hotel room given to us was not facing the Eiffel Tower, which I requested, that would be a bit wasteful for the hotel with such a good location near to Eiffel Tower.
Not as advertised ”
Definitely not a brisk 5 minute walk to Eiffel Tower. Takes at least 15 minutes, if you’re fast. Room is very tiny even compared to other European hotels. Cute boutique style but dated.
Not value for money”
The room is extremely small. They do not give bottles of water in the room. The cleaners do a shabby job. Staff are proud and more fashion conscious rather than focusing on customer service. It was a rip off and just like a lodge. Don’t go for the hype there are better hotels in Paris.
