المكان جميل وهادئ لمتزوجين للي يحب الاسترخاء والهدوء ولكن يبعد ساعتين وربع عن المدينه والتنقل صعب ويكون في البوت ٢٥ دقيقه ثم سياره ولايوجد نشاطات من قبل المنتجع سوى ليومين فقط بسبب بعده من المدينه.

طبعا الفندق جدا بعدين عن بالاوان اصلا حجزته ع اساس انه في بالاوان طلع في جزيزة جدا بعييده طلبت منهم اللغاء الحجز رفضوا لازم تلغو الحجز قبل ب 60 يوم ليش سلامات شرحت لهم ضروفي لكن رفضوا رغم ان عند اطفال ثنين وصغار صعب جدا اني اركب من طياره اي طياره عشان بس اوصل لي الفندق

Amazing overall experience!”
By far the best place I've stayed in Coron! The resort has beautiful views of the ocean and mountains and gorgeous sunsets. Rooms, public toilets and all surrounding areas are always squeaky clean including the beach itself. There's always something to do for everyone too. They have activities for kids in the afternoon such as baking, shirt tie dying and some board games anyone can use. They have darts, billiards and karaoke too. Food is so delicious! They are reasonably priced with a good amount of serving and comes out fresh from the kitchen in no time. Buffet breakfast is a plus with different types of food and teas to choose from. Oh and the staff are amazing! Everyone is very courteous, polite and accommodating. From reception to waiters and cleaners---all of them! They help you with anything and everything even if you haven't asked for it. So happy me and my partner chose this place to spend our first vacation overseas together. We will definitely be back.

Already Planning for the Next Trip ”
They allowed us for an early check-in without even asking for it since the room is already ready including the extra bed for my child. The food is well-thought and tasty. They are so pricey so prepare your pockets. The buffet breakfast is very filling too. We haven't tried diving. For those who cannot do so, like us, could still enjoy looking at so many sea creatures from above or just by snorkeling. They are so plenty. Maybe it's because the resort respects and takes care of them. I don't know about the other room types but I would highly recommend guests book the cedar cabana. Love the privacy and it's right beside the pool and the restaurant without getting disturbed by any noise from those facilities. Creaky floor boards but doesn't matter. Everything is clean! Just try not to eat inside the room to keep insects, especially ants out. The staff are awesome. They keep the place up and running well. LOVE how they take care of the place and the guests.

A Perfect Vacation even in Rainy Season”
We stayed at the hotel for 3 days and two nights, how we wished we spent all our days in El Rio. After we stayed for a day in at Vienna Hotel, in which our first day was wasted due to cancelled flight, the services & experience we got from El Rio Y Mar is no equal to what we have experienced from of all of our trips here and abroad. It started with on-time pickup at our hotel, which we expected we will be riding a van together with other guest but to our delight, Van is a private for us, then a Private Big Boat and both Van & Boat drivers well mannered drivers, then a warm welcome by the staff at the reception area accompanied with a welcome song and drinks. That the Cedar Room is breathtaking with an outright access to the sea. Free use of kayak, padel board, Game Room, Gym, Videoke room which so clean and updated ang songs, aircon room too and free meds in the clinic. Only downside is limited food selection for Lunch and Dinner. Bar is great too. Definitely will get back

Outstanding service, great facilities”
The staff were very warm, friendly and accommodating. They knew what they were doing and were willing to go the extra mile to providr great service. We were greeted by a singing trio upon arrival and were sent off with a song as well. The resort has all the amenities you will need and is not overly expensive considering they are the only resort in the area. The room is very spacious and the bathroom and walk-in closet space are huge. Most rooms have a view of the beach and are just a few steps from the shore. There is a wide selection of food choices at reasonable prices and breakfast is a buffet included in the room rate. I recommend the whole day island hopping tour as the tour guide, Andrew, is very knowledgable and can give a lot of tips and takes great photos too. Because the tour is private, it costs a bit more but it means you don't rush to get to every destination and leave before you're even satisfied yet. Non-motorised watersports, snorkle and fins are free.

Nice remote location”
The staff went out of its way to make us feel welcome. The facilities were nice and internet worked fine when you could get on it. Considering you’re a captive audience and have to eat and drink at the resort the prices were not out of line with a remote location any place else. We booked a fishing trip and t consider that way, way overpriced. They claim they have fishing rods but the truth is that your arm is your rod and your hand lining. The hooks were so dull that fish had to try very hard to get hooked. The targeted fish were 4-8 inches suitable for aquariums and pulling 180 feet of line gets hard on your shoulders after the 5 or 6 time. They call it bottom fishing but we were not targeting bottom fish. It was an expensive 4 hours of fishing but the scenery was breathtaking. We will not fish at this place but stay on the beach or have a massage at on of their floating gazebos. That was a nice experience.

Picturesque View and Relaxing Place”
Friendly Staff, felt really safe during the transfer considering that we are both girls and we have experienced an unfortunate event in El Nido. The greetings upon arrival were very warm. The view is amazing. We stayed at the Native Cabana and it was clean, comfy, and homey. The food is good, the breakfast buffet is generous plus their teas are refreshing. We really felt relaxed with our 3 days stay here and we'll be back for sure.

We loved the hotel and wish we had more time here. It was a bit of a drive (and boat) to get here but it was totally worth it. The facilities are super nice, food is good, great cocktails and staff is the best in the island! You feel you are in your own private beach. We barely saw the rest of the guests, except for meal times maybe. Everyone does their own activities, either in the hotel, diving or touring around the island. You get to relax by the beach or pool or just jump to the ocean and snorkel all day by the bay. Trust me, you can't go wrong with staying here. The town hustle is not worth to see and you will just waste time to relax here.

Amazing experience”
The resort is on an island at the top end of Coron Island. What we loved was the isolation but at the same time the vast about of things to do. To name a few; island hoping, scuba, climb Hunter's peak for a beautiful sunrise, kayaking, paddle & pedal boating, water ski and more. 2 pools, snorkelling just off the bar all made our trip truly worthwhile. But where El Rio wins is the fantastic people that looked after us and allowed us to truly jump into the spirit of the island! Top marks to all of them and we would be back in a heartbeat, wouldn't have left if we could have stayed longer! Thank you for a wonderful week Menchie, the Dive team and all the staff at El Rio

Excellent location and relaxing atmosphere”
From arrival to departure, this is the place where you can really relax and enjoy away from home. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, perfect weather and the quietness of the surroundings, available facilities, comfortable accommodations, coupled with friendly staffs and excellent customer service, El Rio is an island paradise to vacation to. Highly recommended

A slice of paradise with fantastic staff”
Came here for 7 days of our honeymoon (ended up staying for 10 due to a typhoon) the staff here are wonderful. We intinitally stayed in a cedar cabin then was switched to a more basic room on the end of our stay. Honestly can say there isnt a bad room or view! Food was good, drinks are not cheap but seems to be the norm for the area. We did the coron island trip - costs more due to the hour drive to town but worth it to stay here. Also did lots of great diving! Cannot recommend this location enough expecially if you are looking for total relaxation.

Wonderful Stay”
The staff's hospitality from the moment u step onto the resort island is indeed commendable. All staff are friendly and try their best to make u feel welcomed. Location is great. Many activities are available at the resort itself. Tour packages available are great value for money. The Caron island tour and the island hopping tour are both a must go-to places. Food choices r plenty and the staff will try to accommodate all your requests. Highly recommended resort to stay.

Fantastic resort with no complaints ”
This is a brilliant resort with huge value for money. We also booked a transfer with the resort which I would advise to save the headache of trying to find the boat and then get on the boat to the resort. It’s in the middle of nowhere so would be tough to ask where to go if you get lost! We booked in 1 week before we stayed and I have no complaints but only praise. Free access to kayaks, snorkels, fins and paddle boards while in resort with a great breakfast included. The staff were so helpful and we will defiantly come back again.

Fantastic place to stay 😊😊”
This place is amazing! From the moment you arrive you are greeted by the super friendly and helpful staff. The room we had - Cedar Lodge - was very big and had everything you needed. The balcony looks out onto the beach and has a hammock and table and chairs. Lots of food choices and the food is reasonably priced and tasty. Water sports include kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkelling and all these are free activities. The staff can’t do enough for you and are so helpful. I would recommend a stay here

Excellent Experience ”
The resort is very isolated and relaxing. It’s not very big so it never felt crowded. Beautiful resort. The staff was excellent and always made us feel so great. Staff was a lot of fun too. The excursion to Coron island was amazing and our guide was great. Daily costs were reasonable. Food was fairly priced, around $20 or less for 2 people for lunch and around the same for dinner. Drinks were fairly priced too. Definitely highly recommend El Rio y Mar.

The real paradise”
We would go back in this place. They arranged our transfers and tour transfer with accuracy. Staff are always helpful and courteous. Lots of things to do. Very relaxing environment. You will never feel being rushed when eating. I love the entertainers during dinner time. We had a massage at the floating island, those ladies were wonderful. While getting a massage you have a view of fishes swimming underneath you. Overall, an excellent resort. ❤️❤️❤️

We were family of 10 traveling to Coron and we enjoyed every minute of our stay in El Rio Y Mar.. All the staffs / from housekeeper to the manager are very accommodating and friendly. We shall return with the rest of our family members who were not able to come and see this place. Will highly recommend this place to everyone. Thank you all for making our stay very memorable.

استثنائيّ”
This was our final stop during our vacation in Coron. I had to cancel my booking from the other hotel because we wanted to extend our stay here. They were very welcoming. There was an orientation when we arrived. We had complimentary drinks, cookies and free bamboo straws. It’s a complete vacation stay. There is a hiking trail. They offer free use of kayak, snorkelling gear, paddle board and life vest. They have a game room, gym facility and 2 pools. There are so many features to mention in this resort whether you wanted to do water and land activity or just to relax. In summary, best place we stayed in Coron. The downside only was that our room had fly like mosquitoes, so I kinda had bite marks after our first night. Nonetheless, they are quick to response and cleaned our room. We’ll definitely return to El Rio Y Mar.
