Stay Before our Cruise”
We only stayed for one night prior to our cruise and are thankful it was for only one night. Firstly we were assigned a room and when we went up to the room we found the room to already be occupied, thankfully the person was out at the time, so had no idea that we had access to their room. We were then allocated another room which thankfully wasn't occupied. The hotel seemed to have people living there for longer periods and there were some strange characters walking around the corridors. The room was functional for one night, but we found the cleaning to be below par, as there was ots of dust around the room and hairs in the bathroom. The hallways also smelt very musty and not very inviting. Location wise the hotel is close to the cruise terminal, our ship was departing from Pier 2, so we could walk to the pier from the hotel. Overall if you want a low rate room for just one night then this would be sufficient, but for the price we paid we expected better.

Well,I can say that the general mgr was pleased to assist with the discomfort on my 1st encounter with him.Very understanding and will to make it right.Mary the over night staff is a god send.On my first encounter she was able to make a marvelous correction to make my stay comfortable.Thanks,Ms Mary for being very remorseful and compassionate to make sure I was taken care of in a more comforting space.Also,the morning shift Shanesa for making it possible to send maintenance.Thanks,for Mr Russel for correcting the 1st impression as a guest and making it correct and the best that could be handled in your power.Happy new year 🎊 team Smiley faces.
Okay for the Price, but not worth it for me.”
I stayed here for just one night, the night before a business conference I was attending. The location was the best thing going for it as it took me less than a minute to get to the conference center in the morning and I avoided all the traffic I would have had to drive through to get there. However, I didn't get any sleep in this hotel for a few reasons, which made reserving the room completely useless. First, the entire hotel smelled on smoke. I assume this isn't from a bunch of smokers, but rather a combination of cigarettes with smoke from the 'construction' throughout the hotel. One part of that ,construction' was from a broken elevator. The only other elevator they had is sure to break any moment...it shakes and squeals and barely functions (not to mention the sketchy sign on the door that says "please take the stairs when possible and max two people in the elevator at a time). Finally, other than not being able to breathe from the smoke, I was kept awake all night from car alarms in the parking lot (I was on the top floor and still heard them all night long). Every time I heard a car alarm, I would look at my window to ensure no one was breaking into cars only to find the culprit was a dozen or so stray cats jumping on and off of cars. I know this may be out of the hotels control, but when you come here in order to get more sleep before a long business conference, ... this is not okay. I will say, the new furniture/remodel and the staff were excellent, so that's why I am giving them two stars.

When 1st checked in no parking decal was given.The guy refused to give clean new one.He told me not until tomorrow before getting a clean blanket.No remorse.He worked on the 2nd shift and left the wash for 3rd shift.The 11pm young guy was very remorseful and helpful.He renewed my keys and give me the parking decal which was never done prior from 122423.I overheard the way he asked other guest if they have a vehicle as well. Which was never offered prior at all.

After a lovely welcome at reception I found I was disappointed in the dated bedroom , although clean very basic. Next morning went down for our continental breakfast as we were hungry after our long flight . Well there wasn’t any ? Only coffee no hot water ? It was broken . No yoghurt no fruit? So I asked for milk to put on cereal and was told sorry no milk use the coffee mate ?? Absolute joke ! Would never stay here again .
