Great location. Facilities are also very nice. Our room was very worn and uncomfortable. Bathroom was too small to use. Furniture was old. Curtains stained.

Jasper is a wonderful place to visit and JPL has some of the best views. We go for the golf and like to stay over so we can have a few drinks and not worry about driving. they appear to be making lots of renovations to the cabin exteriors and walkways which just freshens things up and the room we were in was redecorated nicely (but it was very hot even tho the thermostat said 15c). The bathroom was redone as well (its a bit too small) The bigger vanity makes it tight, but the finishing's were nice. We sat in the lounge area and the service was good. The drinks were tasty. I wasn't so impressed with all the food. We had the scotch egg which was amazing, the corn soup awesome (could have used a piece of bread), the wings were good. However the mushrooms were terrible. they tasted like dried pieces of cardboard. if it wasn't for the sauces they'd have no flavor at all. Also the king prawns were a bit soggy and the sauce tasted more like a pizza sauce, which just wasn't to my liking. Its a pricey place to stay and we only do it once or twice a year, but worth it in my opinion.
