Visit during off season if not a family”
The hotel is a great stop for families but it is it great for a couple of 2 during the summer season. The amount of kids out weigh the amount of adults and overtime some of the kids become unsupervised. The restaurants seem to all share a kitchen so the foods eventually taste the same. The location is great and the staff is amazing. Rooms are comfortable but if you are only two adults traveling I suggest going to an adults only resort.

We wanted a quick getaway for after the holidays and for my birthday. I booked the fiesta club level not knowing it was the adult only (21+) area. This hotel also stated that they do not cater to spring breakers or large groups of younger people which we thought was great especially if it were March. At only 40% booked we couldn’t get our room till 3, ok no big deal. So we changed and headed to the adult rooftop pool, Sonne. I decided to pay at the hotel because paying in pesos was always a better deal. Heck, the taxi from the airport said about $18 usd and it came to just under $13 usd when the charge went through. Anyway, the Charge from the hotel ended up being $6 more then what Agoda told me I would pay. Hmmm, interesting I thought. So at the pool, Ricardo was very attentive. Being all inclusive, tips and all it said were included, we still tipped a little extra for the great job. We headed to dinner at Rosato (Italian) the first night and everything was terrific. Caprese salad, calamari, chicken park and risotto pescatori (? Seafood). All turned out wonderfully. We thought wow, for what was just ‘eh’ for us, this really was a plus. So next day we headed back to adult area ( opened 10-6). Got there around ten, had to wait till noon to order food but no big deal. Lamb burger and shrimp wrap were yummy!! Checked on jacuzzi or hot tub for after hours and the only one on property is at adult area on right and closes at 6. The one on left was just a bit warmer then pool itself. So we traveled in January and the sun rises perpendicular to the pool and we were only getting into mid to high 70 during the day. 60’s at night. The pool was around 28c (82f) they said and the pool is surrounded by lots of palm trees so not much hit it directly. That night we tried the Asian restaurant. It was just ok. An Excellent Week with Everything you Could Want in a Holiday!!”
We actually spent 9 days at the Fiesta Americana. We arrived and were greeted by the front desk with cool water and a relatively quick check-in! We had booked a king-size bed, but were given two small doubles. Without asking, we were given a coupon to use the Sonne exclusive pool and we were told we would have a room with a king -size bed two nights later. The resort is gorgeous! The plants and shrubs are well-established and immaculately groomed. The meals were delicious! We loved the buffet and the BBQ's they had each day!! We spent some time at the spa and had a wonderful massage It has to be said that the staff at this resort is just amazing! Very shortly after we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Ashley who said we could contact her with whatever we needed. She went out of her way to touch base with us several times. We got to know Raphael, Nacho and Sofia. They were all so wonderful. We loved the small feel of this resort that had everything we love in a holiday!
Very nice except for a few things”
Everything was very good and all staff were amazing!! But could fix the system for the Sonne Club! We got free vouchers to use it but couldn't find chairs or had to wait in line for two hours. Should have a reservation system. And they should not give away their king bed suites if you book and pay for them.. Other than that, everything was good.
