Super Friendly and Quaint”
This little b&b is perched higher on the hills of Coron overlooking the town. The rooms are modest but very comfortable; quiet at night, a/c is very cold, beds are comfortable. The staff were always friendly and helpful, they made us feel right at home. Breakfasts on the top floor have sweeping views of the bay and are a good quality for the price. Very happy!

Above and Beyond”
Stayed for 2 nights. The staff was very helpful, food was average but can't complain. They will only cook breakfast once you're awake so it is ensured it will be hot before you eat it. Safe spot in the rooftop for hanging your wet clothes and bonus for a nice view in the morning at the top. Huge thanks to the staff of Haven 1916 for sending our passport right after we left without us having to call them for it. Just in time before we boarded for our flight outside of Coron. Will definitely book again.

Choosing this hotel was definitely the best decision we've made in our Coron trip! It included a breakfast (Danggit was the best!) and walking distance to many good restaurants, tourist spot such as Mt. Tapyas etc, port area, and town proper. We saved enough money on transportation because of it's easy access. The staff were very accommodating too, and rooms are secured well. Will definitely book here again when I go back to Coron!

Everything is awesome in this place! The staff is super friendly and they provided everything that we need. Super CLEAN room and the facility is superb! It exceeded my expectation! Food for breakfast is remarkable! I will definetly go back and stay with haven 1916 again. Worth the money and my time.

The staff are friendly and helpful. I ask them for a favor to buy a birthday cake for my boyfriend bc i wanted to surprise him and they were very good at not letting him know about it. Overall, they atteneded all my needs. I highly recommend this hotel.

Haven 1916 is just a simple B&B but what makes it stand out is the staff who greets all their guests and assists them with all their needs. They even suggest tours and affordable restos around town. 2 thumbs up for the service!

Excellent value for money hotel in a good location”
I stayed in a standard double room for 4 nights. The room was much smaller than seen in pics, however the location, staff, cleanliness made up for it. The staff was very nice and they serve very good breakfast too. Most of the restaurants are walk-able and the hotel is slightly on a slope. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Me and my family enjoyed our stay at Haven 1916. It is right at the heart of Poblacion area. Highly accessible and near stores & restaurants. The staff are accommodating and polite. We were also allowed to buy fresh ingredients and produce from the market then have it cooked by their chef for a minimum fee only. You can also rent towels that you can take outside during the tours. The rooms are exactly how they are on the photos. The view at their roof deck is also a must see. This place is definitely highly recommended. Will stay here again the next time.

Ce n'est pas haven mais heaven qu'il devrait s'appeler”
C'est l'hôtel coup de coeur durant mes 3 semaines aux Philippines. C'était certes pas le plus beau, pas le plus confortable mais on s'y sentait bien, comme dans des charentaises. Axel et toute l'équipe était au taquet pour anticiper nos besoins par pure bonté de coeur. Les couchers de soleil depuis la balançoire de la terrasse sur le toit... This is definitely the best place we stayed during our 3 weeks in the Philippines. We stayed 3 nights, 2 in a double room with windows and 2 without windows which I thought would be a problem but finally great: the choice between AC or fan was perfect and I was not disturb by any roosters or bargin dogs. Axel and all the team in general were very friendly, ready to help, good people by nature not for business (who cries when you leave seriously?!). The rooftop is huge and peaceful after touring. At a good walking distance from the noisy town center. Question to Agoda: why do you say the hotel is fully booked when it is not???

Great Location”
Near the city proper. All restaurants and stores is just walk away. Maybe they can improve by having breakfast meal. Water in the toilet is quite a problem. We need to ask for assistance for it to work. Roofdeck gives a great view of the town and they allow tenants to use the kitchen, appliances and utensils.

Value for Money, Awesome Staff, Close to the Town Proper”
Pros - Very close to the town proper. You can just walk if you want to find some places to eat. The way going to Mount Tapyas is just a few meters away. - Decent hotel with good views of the town on the top floor. - The breakfast is really good! Try the danggit. You can also buy from them. 350/kilo. - They can arrange round trip transport to and from the airport. You can coordinate with them prior to your stay. - Awesome staff! Very friendly and helpful. Cons - There were times when the water pressure is not that strong especially during the early morning and late afternoon/evening. This is the time when guests usually prepare for their tours or arrive from their destinations.

Staff: Very friendly and accommodating. Location: hotel is just walking distance from lots of restaurants, souvenir shops, and Mt. Tapyas. However, walking to the hotel is a bit challenging because the hotel is at a high area of the town. Even tricycles are a bit challenged to reach the hotel. Facilities: our room with aircon also has an electric fan so we can choose what to use and we can also dry our wet clothes inside the room. We experienced several power interruptions which only lasts for a few minutes, not really an issue. I think it happens to the whole area, not just in the hotel. Breakfast: No provided breakfast anymore due to pandemic (according to the staff) but they offer to order your breakfast for you and you can still eat at the hotel's view deck. Overall: I highly recommend staying at Haven 1916!
