Paradise Lost. ”
We first came here in 2016 bumped into the owner’s daughter and we’re so taken with the energy and vibe that we vowed we would return. Very little has changed since then other than the price. It’s a “nice” place to stay though we had to move twice to find decent aircon. We ate at the restaurant a couple of times but the menu was unexciting (the “Specials” board remained the same throughout our stay, untouched) so we ended up eating out at the local warnings for better choices at half the prices and a more fun Balinese atmosphere. It’s a real shame because the location is unrivalled and the grounds are beautifully looked after and we applauded its commitment to the environment but we both felt that overall it had somehow lost its mojo and vibe from 2016. Breakfast was “nice” but again steadfastly unchanging so it became a boring routine rather than a “guilty” pleasure. There was a healthy mix of international travellers who must have wondered if they were in Bali at all, there was nothing intrinsic or extrinsic to prove otherwise. We have been visiting Bali at least once a year over the last 15 years and we have always stayed at places that are Balinese in their soul and we have never been disappointed in the food and accommodation. Sadly this time we were disappointed. Apart from in the restaurant wifi was appalling and this in 2024 is really unforgivable . All in all HPC needs a shove forward ten years to bring it back to its former self.
Great stay”
We loved the location and the facilities. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean but do realize that the outdoor bathroom my attract outdoor life at times. You will get solicited often when at the beach and pool from people offering, activities, rides, etc. We did lose power two of three days while there for between one hour and several hours. Aside from that, we loved our stay and really liked the area. We would stay there again.

Actually we love the place. First is very clean. You can access corals direct from the front side of hotel. Rooms were well designed and we love the bathroom. But i have to say there is servise after breakfast which is very limited only 3 chooses rice&egg, toast&scramble egg and toast&omlet with fruit salad. Namely after breakfast you can not have any drink or snack, lunch or dinner. They said coral view hotel is the same hotel and we can use their restaurant. Overall i can recommend this place.
Pool”
We had 5 nights in September 2022 and absolutely loved the place. Accommodation was lovely and clean and staff were always very helpful. Breakfast was basic but always fresh and tasty. The only small negative comment would be that the pool loungers could’ve done with cushions and umbrellas. We will definitely be back. Amed is amazing.
A little luxury at a great price”
It's an oasis in a hot place. They have beautiful rooms, comfortable, great breakfast and snorkelling right in front of the villa. The staff are lovely, the food and drinks are good. Also it's very peacefull. We would recommend it absolutely. Suksema!
