Pleasant stay with hearty breakfast”
Love our stay here. Easy access to train. Room is spacious, clean and has its own charm. Breakfast was delicious, so glad we booked it together. Highly recommend.
Comfortable rooms”
We stayed here while we were visiting Munich for Oktoberfest. The room was close enough to be accessible by walking or taking the U-bahn, but far away enough that the price was much better than accommodations closer to the Oktoberfest venue. The bed was extremely comfortable and the rooms were quiet.
Beautiful room, semi-inconvenient location”
The room itself was spacious, beautiful, and comfortable, especially considering the affordable price. While the hotel is immediately next to a public transit station, its only S-Bahn is S7, which runs much less frequently than other lines (about every 20 min). Since the hotel is near the south of Munich (Harras Station), it takes almost twice as long to get to most places of interest than it would take from a more central or northern location. However, I found some wonderful spots within walking distance, such as the Gans Am Wasser, an open-air cafe and bar next to water and a large park (which was walking distance from Hopfen Garten, a similar spot serving coffee and Bavarian food, including vegan options)! As a vegan, I was unable to eat breakfast in the hotel's beautiful breakfast room (12 euro/meal if you don't purchase it with your room). However, I walked to an adorable cafe around the corner that served a vegan breakfast and coffee/teas with vegan milk. There were also some nightclubs, etc. accessible by bus. Immediately next door is a Covid testing station where visitors can get free antigen (rapid) tests, with printed results on request. (There are similar testing locations scattered throughout the city, though others didn't offer printouts.) The staff was pretty underwhelming in terms of availability and friendliness, but they were helpful enough. FYI, when I booked, I read that the hotel offers an airport shuttle; it does not. Also, on days when I left my "do not disturb" light on, housekeeping entered the room to clean nonetheless-- not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind. Overall, it got the job done and was a lovely place to sleep and regroup each night.
Spacious & comfortable hotel room”
The location of the hotel is very accessible, just a 2mins walk from Harras train station. The room and the bathroom are both very spacious which makes the stay very comfortable! The buffet breakfast is great as well with a wide selection.
