Location is the best ”
It is just next to the Heidelberg main station so it is good traveller staying a day or two in this town. I lost my 2-day Heidelberg card (in 4 hours) so I decided to walk to the twin back and forth once during my two days staying here. It took around 20 walk to the town (it’s not too bad to me). The room is standard size as other ibis hotels. But it didn’t have kettle , water bottle, fridge, spoon, mug…etc. I was a but surprised that there was no kettle as it was very cold when I got there so I hoped to make tea or hot water to warm myself. I bought yogurt but found no spoon, and it was late when I found out so I didn’t try to see if front desk could help. I searched around, ibis seems the closest one to the station so I mainly paid for the location (I had to take early train when I left in a cold day). Room was clean, staffs were friendly. I think prices were good but I would pay a little more to a better one if I didn’t have to catch the train. The town is small, I think staying in hotels in town would be great idea so one can take a rest I the middle of a day.

The hotel is very conveniently located. They are located just outside of Heidelberg train station. I've arrived early around 10.30am but unfortunately check-in is only allowed until 3pm. I was able to leave my luggage at hotel while I explore the city nearby. The hotel is serve by public transport of tram and bus which is easy to take. The room provided was at ground floor, which is clean and comes with very basic amenities. Hot water was available from a kettle in lobby. Wi-fi was provided, but its a bit challenge to connect from my laptop. Since the room is at ground floor, you can open your windows as you like, as you will hear people's noise walking outside or even smell their cigarette's smoke. Nonetheless, the hotel is really convenient in its location.

Okay to begin with, I was on a business trip in Heidelberg. I arrived by train. Luckely i was able to check in earlyer than 15:00. The room was super clean. Bed was good. Tv was big. I have not experienced any unwanted sounds from the train station or anything. Breakfast is good. Staff: 10/10stars Location: 9/10 stars Room: 10/10 Price overall: 10/10 Price-quality breakfast: 8/10 Best hotel for money! They Speak good English too😁

The hotel's location is near the main train station and is convenient. However, the room is very small and the bathroom is not clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Handy next to train station”
Small and simple rooms. Most suitable for a 1 or 2 night stay. Air con wasn’t that cool for the hot weather we experienced. Breakfast was ok for a buffet but they don’t seem to replenish much so once it’s gone it’s gone. Easy walk or fast tram or bus to old town and castle.
