We enjoy our stay at this hotel. Although it is a bit old but that is the only drawback. The room is very clean and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is sufficient and OK for the price. I recommend this hotel for your stay at the mid town in Chantaburi.....

Stayed one night on way to Koh Chang. Pleased with this clean friendly hotel. Lots of space for car parking. Breakfast ok. Good Korean BBQ next door :) Reclining Buddah down the road... Very good value.

The hotel is good but”

Everything fine with the hotel and the situation, but: We booked this hotel for 2 adults and one child (10 years old). I booked the room with breakfast, for the children they charge 150 Baht for breakfast, because the child is bigger then 90 cm? Never hear this before, the child is 10 years old.

they used to have better breakfast. this time, due to low season with only a few guests, the breakfast selection was limited and we were a bit disappointed. the hotel is very old itself so even though we really appreciated the staff and their service, we will stay somewhere else next time we travel to Chantaburi.

rooms are old, smell old. great value for money. great Asian breakfast choice. good location. always stay there with my family when we go to chantaburi. staff are nice. hope they will renovate the hotel soon.

A good choise”

Good hotel and good location near the city centre. They gave us a room at 17 floor with a beautiful view. Unfortunatly the pool was out of order for tecnical problems so they didn't charge us our children breakfast. Sure I will came back next time.

No problems at all. Good buffet breakfast, big rooms,fast internet, very good English spoken in reception, great view from the top floor restaurant. Close to Robinsons, central location, could walk to many bars & restaurants.

Good,big hotel conveniently located”

This hotel is large,conveniently located close to the old heritage part of town and river,close to the gem markets and good local noodle shops.the hotel has a swimming pool,and we did get to use it some two years ago,but this visit the pool was empty and we believe it has been empty for construction,for the past 18 months!,this was very dissapointing be Use it as one of the main reasons we stayed there.

Well maintained central hotel.”

rooms are well maintained and updated but the windows need cleaned. the hotel has a commanding position overlooking the river and the city but the view is marred by the smudgy glass. the swimming pool water was a strange colour so i did not venture there. western breakfast is available on the buffet but you need to look hard. there is cereal, a toast machine and a cooked egg station . a bonus is the freshly brewed coffee. no english tv stations but the wifi worked in the room so i listened to internet radio.

We stayed at KP Grand Hotel for 1 night and had a very good experience there. The room and the bathroom were very clean. The AC and water heater in the bathroom worked properly. All the staffs were friendly. We'll surely choose this hotel if we visit Chanthaburi next time.

Decent hotel”

This is a decent place. Little English spoken by most of the staff. Some smoke odor comes through the central AC system. Big rooms. Clean enough (by Thai standards). No hot water for a day during my four day stay.

Good old hotel ”

My grandfather came from Chandaburi and I have many relatives there. Therefore, I have visited Chandaburi almost every year and stayed at K.P. Grand no less than 10 times in my life. I don't like the hotel breakfast buffet. The rest is ok. The price is cheap compared to the features. The location is great.

Very great hotel”

the services were very good. the check in process just took a few minutes to complete. the staff were very kind as well. i enjoyed the breakfast very much. there were variety of foods and considering the fact that it is a 3-star hotel. the food quality was indeed fabulous.

i was exteemly happy with all aspects of this hotel service, from the minute i arrived to the minute that i left. the entrance foyer had a wow factor, the staff were courtious and efficient, the rooms comfortable and the food at breakfast was very good, again more asian than western,

Great value accommodation”

The large comfortable rooms, swimming pool and in-house massage were really appreciated after a week on the road. The rooftop bar and restaurant offers vast night time views over the city. The tourist information service was being run by a Thai lady (Titima) who had lived in NZ and Australia she spoke perfect english and was extremely knowledgable and helpful especially with maps and books on the old town that is preserved along the river bank on the oposite side to the hotel. The large buffet breakfast was included in the price.

The hotel is in the perfect location in walking distance from the main tourist attractions. Staff is very friendly. The pool is very clean and gets hardly used. It's the perfect place to relax. Overall a very good hotel, especially considering the price.
