A Night in the Kempinski”
Me as a world traveler have seen it mostly all. In St. Moritz I am familiar with the Palace, Kulm and Suvretta. Now my first time Kempinski. I took a sailing course in the area and was travelling with a "camper car - RV for the US readers - and upon arriving with the old lady onto the main entrance, they were already waving me down, probably thinking I was lost. This was cleared and I parked the RV on a spot in the front of the Hotel. Upon signing in, a nice staff member asked me to hand out my car key because they wanted to repark the car. I asked why, and he told me it takes up too much space (It is actually smaller than my Mercedes S-Class I also own). So I asked the man, ah I see, you don't like to have the old rag next to all the nice cars out there, mainly SUV's Range Rover etc. and some Ferarri's. He denied and therefor actually lied to me. I had to fetch some items from my RV which I forgot. So, went down to the lobby, asked for the key and also demanded to show me where my RV is. We walked to some service and administration rooms in the back and basement of the Hotel. Coming back, he told me: just use the service entrance by pushing the knob to get in. Done and made a movie of that experience. Using the pool, it states that jumping in from the sides is forbidden. There were 3 or 4 kids constantly jumping doing sumersaults or else. No swimming possible. And that was one of the reason - after beeing in the RV for a couple of day - to relax and swim. Impossible as noted, also the kids screaming and shouting. No guarding at all, not from the Hotel stuff I mean, the parents obviously are not interested in a proper upbringing, cause they don't know themselves. Taking - most likely - advantage of the lower summer rates I guess. People with zero class. Ok, that is not the Hotel's fault. Service altough is impeccable, people are friendly, language skills are missed. I am a Tea drinker, so I asked for "ASSAM-Tea" at breakfast (and I knew they had it). Two of the ladi

A person aed Thomas was very rude to us. We were a group of 6, celebrating at the hotel. We are eating Kosher, and brought a wine, ans asked for a permission to open it at cork fee. He responded in a nasty language and body language not acceotable by any person under normal circumstences - let alone a grou of hotle guests around 70 years old. I am travelling a lot (at least 10-12 times a year) due to my business (I own an international medical diagnostics technology company with branches around the world) and can;t remember when I was humiliated like this.
