Faulty bathroom facility ”
Prior to my stay, I would never have thought I would have rated a Mariott hotel only 2 stars, but there is just no other way to sugar-coat the poor experience I encountered. I was on a 14 day vacation covering 4 cities and stayed at 5 different hotels (Novotel, Hilton, and Mariott among others). The hotel has good décor, ambiance and cleanliness, but we were given a room with faulty bathroom which is an inexcusable oversight. As longer-term travellers, we all know how important the bathroom is, to ensure a good level of hygiene and comfort. Sadly, the hotel failed to provide this fundamental need to my family. First, the basin was clogged when we checked in. Second, the toilet flushing button/pad is broken. When you press it, it dislodges and drops inside the water tank (cistern) which is concealed within the wall. This renders it unable to function, meaning inability to flush the toilet during/after use. When we complained about it, we were told there were no maintenance people at night so we were asked to put our hand into the concealed in wall water tank, locate a tube-like lever, and pull it upwards. Not a very convenient and comfortable way to flush the toilet (especially staying with kids), but in our desperation that seemed to be the only way to avoid a smelly and stinky toilet. We were told that it will be fixed the next morning and was assured about this the next morning. The next day, we came back to the hotel in the afternoon and was utterly disappointed. While the clogged basin has been fixed, the toilet flush was faulty again (it got dislodged and drops). Maybe the maintenance person attached it back without fixing the issue. Totally unacceptable for any hotel, especially for a Mariott hotel. We have stayed in Mariott in other locations and generally have good experience. But this experience really spoils it for us and we checked out the next morning for our flight seeing it pointless to make another complain. To top it off, there was no official acknowledgement or apology from the hotel (which would have been the very least they could do as this is not a budget hotel). Honestly, this room should not have been assigned to us in the first place until it was fixed. To do so is really irresponsible and reflect incomp

Our stay at Marriot, Regent’s Park was an amazing experience. The staff was very friendly and Mr.Dhruv was extremely helpful. The cleaning services were good and overall our stay at this hotel was satisfying

We stayed here for my birthday and had a wonderful time . The staff especially mr Tanuka the reception was extremely helpful and courteous and made our stay . Lovely hotel great breakfast and importantly great service
