Nice place”
Traditional cottage accommodation. There was a problem with the water, but it is probably everywhere in the Philippines. Overpriced food in a local restaurant for poor quality. We preferred to go to the village for food.

A nice place but it needs maintenance ”
I think this hotel has a big potential and has been abandoned a bit by the owners. With some renovation the place would be a little paradise so I still have hope that they fix everything and that we can come back there again.

The place is close. Neighborgood said it is closed since December and without informing us guest. We arrive at 5pm and the place is located in the jungle abd its beginning to get dark, we are so scared that we dont kniw what to do. why this happens. The value for our mo ey, our security the most, we are so dismated with the quality of nanagement they have. Agoda, why you dont know this? We highly expect from you

Best place to stay for the night, in between Puerto Princesa proper and El Nido”
It was an excellent place than I have expected. The people there are very accommodating, they have a great ambiance, great food, free billiards. And you can do kayaking at the river and go to a very huge tree near there.

Nice, quet place in the jungle, close to local life. Amazing river and kayaking in it. Very nice to swim.

We took 1 night to be close to airport instead to speand the time in Puerto prinsesa. It was very realex. Took little tour to forest, & just took the time to realex. They have meals for all day. The big problem is the cleaning in the room .

Nice owner, but likes to talk a lot, a bit too much. Food was great, but you have to wait for a long time. Be prepared to sleep with gekkoes and there is no mosquito nets. We had a good stay. Dont miss canooing on the river.

The place looks dump and the facilities are not maintained anymore.. the room has an old smell looks too dark thats whyafter we saw the place we just left and find other resort to stay forthe night:

Great jungle retreat”
The hotel staff are very accommodating and friendly. The food is delicious and reasonably priced for its location. The are parts of the place that are not maintained, notably the river bar. However, one of the staff said it be renovated. Also, people who are planning to get the 'Backpackers Heaven' room, The rooms are located on a hillside, with a very steep stairs/path. I myself almost slipped and got injured. Mobile coverage is pretty weak but if you're choosing to stay at this place, I guess that's the least of your worries. Stayed there to get a short break from the daily grind and overall I'm very satisfied.

A very simple setting, and very far from the city. The transportation cost me more than the room itself. Nice and quite but things are not very well maintained. Either broken or dirty. Staff there are really friendly and helpful tho.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay. Amazing staff, wonderful location, great food, superb tours- couldn't ask for more! The only downside was the cold shower.

A horrible experience!”
So disappointed! I think that this resort should inform clients if there is a problem with activities not being available in bad weather. Also with no fuel for the generator there was no electricity through the night so no fan. It was unbearably hot and so many insects! There was no running water to flush the toilet so it smelt! A horrible experience and we received no apology from the German owner who visited. We left after one night! We were also carged 30% for cancelling the night. After being woken at 6.30 am with loud machinery trying to fix the water and generator this was certainly NOT love and peace! Awful! We would like a refund of the 30% please!

We stayed here for 2 nights. I was in touch with the owner before regarding transfer from the airport, we found that the price was exaggerated and inquired about other options, we never got an answer to any of the other messages we sent. There was no way to contact them and the shared van we took from the airport dropped us off along the highway so we had to walk in absolute dark on a dirt road for 2.5km at 10pm. We got there, they didn't seem to know about us and put us in a filthy and moldy bungalow pretending it was a complimentary "upgrade". Our bed sheet was meant to be for 1 person and not 2. they had no blankets and it gets chilly at night in the jungle. The village was nice though.

Very quiet place in the forest, backpackers hut very clean and intimate. No wifi or just a little bit in the stairs and food expensive for the quality (they said homemaid pesto with pasta but it's just a can). We reserved for 5 nights but stayed only 2 nights because there are no so much activities to do. But the owner was very nice because we switch in San Vicente Peace and Love and only paid the difference.

Great adventure escape”
Awesome spot to chill out and talk to locals etc. We haven't done the tours but I heard they're great. When it's raining season the river is brown so not everyones fav to swim in :+) me and my son didn't mind and took the locals challenge to use the Tarzan swing with a 4m drop into the river! Real fun!

All of the staff was excellent, food was good, rooms clean. The location is a love/hate because it is beautiful in the middle of the jungle, but you're also far from any town (like 1+ hours) and their motorcycles are pretty pricey to rent and only one was even running at the time. Luckily, we were able to ride together and go to a nearby beach, San Rafael. Beautiful beach and about a 15 min drive!

Great staff! Especially Erwin always takes care of you and all your needs. Its really deep in the jungle, nothing around but great nature and adventure. Going kayaking on the river and see the oldest tree of Palawan. Its huuuge! Very good kitchen with western food. Best Pizza and Pasta, but a little pricy (but normal rates for staying in a "resort") What you have to know, staying in the jungle, there can be animals too and the huts and bungalows are not completely closed like an overall brickstone house. But I like it and thats what I am looking for, staying in close touch with nature.
