Villas set amongst a lush tropical setting”
If you want to escape the badgering, constant annoyance of the Boracay touts and hawkers crawling along the beachside, and all the package tourists, this is the place for you. The villas are massive and the scenery is so lush and beautiful. It’s very relaxing and probably one of the more unique places to stay in Boracay. A word of warning though, with the lush tropical settings comes a lot of wildlife and insects. We were totally ok with it but if you’re not comfortable with ants crawling everywhere including the bed, spiders, rats running around, frogs in shower, toads jumping around, termites in the ceiling, birds flapping into the windows, geckos in the room and be very proactive and defensive against the very aggressive mosquitoes, then this place is not for you. The only other thing is the electronics in the room could be maintained better as they’re a bit faulty. Other than that the bathtub is enormous and the view is spectacular. The staff are very attentive and very nice. Highly recommended!

Great rooms, a couple of drawbacks. ”
We had a group of 4 adults and an infant. We had two villas. Overall this was a pleasant place to stay. The staff was really great and the room was very clean. The bathroom was amazing and spacious and both rooms also had a terrace and small garden. The only issues were the power and location if you are trying to visit the beach a lot. It seems they use a generator for power and it’s not relaxing or convenient when it cuts out late at night and you suddenly have bright emergency lights turn on in your room and wake everyone up. This did not happen every night however, so I am not sure if it is an ongoing problem or if we just happened to stay at a time when they had some problems with their generator. If you are planning to swim a lot I wouldn’t recommend this location as getting to the beach wasn’t very convenient and can be tiring with multiple trips a day. If you want a quiet place with nice rooms and a peaceful ambience this is really a good spot.

First stay at Mandala”
The villa was spacious, clean and comfortable. En suite toilet and bath w an open air shower and relaxing tub. AC was standard andproperly calibrated for the size of the room (about 90 sqm incl the en suite). Short walk about 50m to the resto, admin and spa. Access to the beach is a bit farther, about 300m but not an issue, as the whole area is quiet and relaxing. The Mandala Spa menu of services is a diverse selection, a bit pricy, but well worth it. We tried the Mandala Signature, 90 min...very relaxing. We stayed two nights here then moved to another hotel nearby for the beach access. Next visit, will reserve Mandala for our closing stay to avail of the relaxing spa offerings before heading home. The resto was ok for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but you may want to explpre other restos in Boracay for an extended stay.

Pros: -Excellent value for money - Highly attentive and respectful staff (everyone from security, to maintenance, front desk, to restaurant) - Spacious, clean, rustic villas (both garden and partial sea view) - Accessible to White beach/Angol side, only about 10-15 minute by foot - Accessible to main road/ e-trikes - Close to convenient stores, restaurants (i.e., nagisa, congas, vc in Angol; jt's manukan in AKY Tulubhan) Cons: - Probably not recommended for people with hypersensitivities and/or allergies i.e., wood dust, scents - Limited in-house food options at Prana Suggestions: Hope Mandala will offer complimentary e-trike services to/from Angol esp. at night for in-house guests with seniors/ pwds and kids. Also, it will be nice if the resort can shift to using more eco-friendly cleaning stuff (no strong chemicals), repellants, and fabric cleaners. Overall, very good value for money and we will consider staying here again in the near future!

One of the most relaxing places in Boracay Island 🌸”
If you’re looking for some R&R in Boracay, then this is the place to be. Check in was smooth and included welcome drinks and clean towel. The villa itself is pretty nice and spacious, given the price we paid to book it. Their massage is one of the best I’ve ever had in my life! Be prepared to experience something one of a kind and not just the typical swedish massage. Staff are very friendly and accommodating as well. Only suggestions are to include a bidet in the toilet and maybe consider providing some bedroom slippers for guests. Other than those, Mandala Spa and Resort Villas is one of the best there is in Boracay and is highly recommended!
