Just a step from excellence”

Everything was great, staff were all nice, friendly and always willing to help. Until at my check-out, there was a group of “important people” arranging a seminar there and the staff treated me invisibly.

Excellent resort”

Old school charm hotel with spacious room with nice homely woody flooring, big comfy beds with many pillows and even a bolster. Lots of greenery around and fabulous place for relaxation. No other tall buildings around, so there is a nice, cool breeze. Breakfast has a great selection, including local favourites which are a must try.

Very nice room”

Enjoyed our stay here. The room (junior suite) was very nice. Pool was huge and grounds were nice. Free shuttle into town. Breakfast was really good and staff were helpful.

Beautiful Resort”

Stopped by on way back from Koh Chang -- what a pleasant surprise!! Extentsive, well-maintained grounds, extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Buffet breakfast with large, delicious selections of Thai, Chinese and American foods. Also, so much info about what to do in Chanthaburi that we're tempted to go back to a place we thought was drive-through.

Beautiful and comfortable resort ”

Resort is beautiful, room is big, bed is comfortable but the lighting is not bright enough. Breakfast is excellent!

Good facilities & location”

Pros: Location, Facilities Con: 1. Room cleanliness upon arrival. Before checking in the guest, the hotel should have inspected the room. 2. Spa was never available for us when we requested or even booked in advance. We stayed here many times but were not even one time lucky. 3. Breakfast was not as good as before. The decoration has changed but looked too simple. 4. Staff were a bit layback and likes chatting to each other. This time was too obvious. However, some staff were still very good. We still love Maneechan and like to stay here every time when we travel to Chanthaburi. Management should pay more attention to these small details for improvement.

Good value, quiet resort”

If you want to relax and enjoy a nice hotel with good, clean facilities, nice breakfast and good staff.. you'll find this place just right. Just a little distance from the city center, but just ask for the hotel shuttle to get you there, we also used it to visit the nearest waterfalls for the afternoon.. very good service. A pleasant stay in Chanthaburi.

Tranquility resort in Chanthaburi town”

Been stayed in Maneechan resort over the past 20+ years, it's still well maintenance in proper condition, the service is always courtesy, efficiency and warmly, ABF with fresh blended fruits juice and fresh brewed coffee is a bonus, peaceful surrounding with gardening gave me a good rest at night. Although the rate is a little bit high but it's worth.

Great location, best place to stay in Chantaburi”

It was a very comfortable and nice experience staying here, and will definitely stay again here if in the area..The room, the cleanliness and the comforts are always standard. So, no doubt that this hotel is really doing good on its business. We will always be beck to this place.

Excellent, very relaxing”

Great Hotel. The pool and children pool are huge and the pool area beautifully arranged. Breakfast and food were excellent. Big and well equipped rooms. Everything was very clean and everybody very friendly. The atmosphere was extremely relaxing. Even though it's a short shuttle or taxi ride to town, it's THE place to hang out.

Big hote but still in good shape”

Arrived in the evening and went straight to my room which was really big. My room was at the far end of the premises though and close to the road so there was a bit of noise from passing traffic. Nice breakfast, better than usual Thai standard, big pool also.

Good atmosphere to stay with relaxing ”

I stayed with my wife together for her friend's wedding ceremony at friend home that about 30km from hotel. We stayed 2 night at hotel because joining morning ceremony and also evening ceremony. It was good room condition, good swimming pool, sports equipment and atmosphere of hotel. I have had relaxing time in the hotel. It was really good time. I would like to visit again there.

Great Resort Hotel at a Reasonable Price”

This is a nice hotel and I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent, the entire hotel was clean and well kept and the staff was polite and efficient. The clientele of this hotel seems to be mostly Thais from Bangkok getting out of the City, maybe that's why the dinner menu in the restaurant was almost all Thai food with few selections of foreign dishes, but it was still a great experience.

the hotel is very nice space and nice swiming pool spa massage fitness...but its far away from teh city an you need a lift with the free navetteor take a bike! The hotel do not change dollars..You have to go to the next ATM

Great hotel/resort and exceptional service.”

This hotel is probably the best in town and it has a nice layout. The large swimming pool and the fitness center were great. I stayed in a junior suite and it was pretty big and worth the money. The massage service is also great and not expensive. The restaurant is my favorite place there because the food was great with a great price. I will definitely come back and stay at this hotel again soon.

Probably the best hotel in Chanthaburi”

the rooms were large and spacious and this is probably the best hotel in town although not the newest. the surroundings provide a safe and pleasant stay and the location is very central. on weekends, familys from the city actually usethe facilities and give the place a homely feel.

Peaceful and beautiful”

The hotel is resort like. Nice location, beautiful surrounding, greenery and great food. Lovely staff and nice ambiance. The hotel is properly maintained, large rooms, clean and excellent swimming pool. We had a marvelous stay in Chantaburi at this Hotel. Wonderful interiors, very good service and some excellent dining too, must recommend the hotel's Restaurant for the typical Thai food and some exquisite sea food dishes. Very reasonably priced too for a luxury hotel. My only qualm was that the restaurant closed a little too early each evening

Great Place to Get Away!!”

we were looking for a place to relax and get away for the day and we were not disappointed. the room was very comfortable, the cable t.v. had great variety in the english channels, beds were comfortable. the fitness area was a little disappointing as the equipment and machines are a bit outdated but all in all it was a very nice hotel. i was very surprised that it rates as only 3 stars. i have been to 4 star hotels that could not compare in service, decor, and facilities. breakfast was very good and included your choice of fruit squeezed (extracted) depending on your choice of fruit and veges. all in all we recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again.

Beautiful Resort but the Food is Terrible”

This is my second stay at the Maneechan and overall it was a good experience. The staff is very polite and helpful, the room was clean, modern and well furnished including a large screen televison, and it has a very nice pool. The price was also quite reasonable considering the quality of the accomodations. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again, but next time I'll plan on having dinner somewhere else.
