Great bay view and sunsets but jaded décor.”
Good sized one bedroom apartment with great view over the bay. As for the sunsets at night, not to be missed amazing view from the balcony. Sadly the cleanliness in the bedroom was not the best with dust and dirt visible around bed and bedside table. Hard to find plug points for electronics you like to have bedside. The décor is tired, the bathroom with dated tiling and shower over bath using a rubber bath mat. There is noticeable hotel noise, the rumble of the lifts can be heard from the bedroom as well as guests voices. The location is very central especially to the city, restaurants and bars.

Bed was very clean and made well. Room a little small. A bit disappointed we were on 1st floor as we are locals and were hoping for a view. Bathroom needed refurbishment as bath badly chipped but it was very clean. Staff reluctant to give us an extra chair as they didn’t want us to sit on the balcony. But hey they came good and also fixed the light which had flickered off. The maître d in the restaurant for breakfast was cheerful and attentive and the food was ok. All in all we couldn’t really complain although as it was New Years Eve it would have been nice if the bar had stayed open for a quiet drink. We had to go further up town but would have been happy to spend our money in house

I always choose this place to stay, because it’s convenient and close to everything in the city. I just couldn’t believe there was no room service for the price per night, and hardly any staff in the building to assist if we needed anything. The room was a little dusty, but aside from all of that, the stay was fine.

We stayed in a room which was supposedly harbor view.. But was given a room at level 3. The trees outside kind of blocked the view of the harbor. So was not impressed. The bathroom has a fan that is pretty loud when u turned on the lights. So u need to keep the door closed all the time or to turn the switch off. Though the air conditioner switches were all turned off, the room seemed to be very cold, including the whole passage way of level 3. I was only staying for a night so I didn’t bother to request to change the room. Before I went to Kakadu, I stayed in another place which I find it a lot better. During check in, I requested for like a 15mins to park my rented car so that I could offload my luggage. The lady at the counter said either I pay $19 for the whole day or I register to sign up for Accor membership to get free carpark. At the time, I am half hour away to return my hired car. I told her I can come back to register as member as I am pressing for time. I have no choice but to park my car outside. I quickly unload and brought the things upstairs and when I went back to my car, I found that I was issued with a ticket. If the staff has been flexible and spare me that 15mins of carpark time, I would not have this issue.
