The google maps location is not correct”
For the money this place isn't terrible. However the photos are a little deceiving and the location of mr black on google shows it's on the haad rin beach. In reality this goes by black and white bungalows on google maps and you can see it has a different location. Kind of a get what you pay for mentality, but the staff is nice

Place is fine for full moon party, staff do try and fine you for anything during the full moon period so be on your game Overall 5/10

Nice comfortable room in a quiet location , a little difficult to find . Near the beach and ocean .listening to the waves at night , cool breeze. Pool not cleaned and the beach dirty after high tide

NO VAYAIS AQUI! Don’t go to this hotel!!”
The location is incorrect in google, it was hard to find it. Then, the room was dirty, the AC was broken and some dirtiness come out into the bed. We had to sleep all in the same bed because they didn’t change us the room. The staff cheat us and made us pay for a towel, because they said that was dirty… don’t come to this hotel, it would have been better to stay in the beach! No vayáis a este sitio, te timan por todos los lados. Habitación sucia, aire acondicionado Estropeado que echaba trozos blancos que caen en la cama. Todo mal, no perdáis el dinero en este sitio.

Very Bad booking ”
Water supply is so poor. Bad Smell . Dirty public pool. No Signal Television Radio. And I have a problem with booking that have wrong information. I booked for 1 night but the price is 9,900THB for 5 night charge to me without any information to me (no message “5night min for this booking). Now I’m in process of complain to any concern institutes.

The reception was really nice! The location was super convenient and next to a market. The family who runs the resort are super helpful and well informed on what’s happening on the island.

Generally everything you want staying in Haad Rin while not breaking the bank. Friendly family that run the place. Nice little beach on the door step. Bit expensive over full moon period but everything is, and tbf, the Thais need to make some money post COVID, which was really bad for them. Enjoyed my 4 night stay over full moon with at start of January 2023 and I recommend!

Wouldn’t recommend!”
We stayed here as we were late booking accommodation for the full moon party and this was the cheapest option however, not cheap at all for what they offer! It was both our most expensive and worst hotel throughout our travels. On arrival, we were brought into what looked like some shop but was in fact their ‘reception’. Once in, we found the shower was cold and didn’t warm up, it was also within a metre of the toilet with no wall or anything separating the two. The TV, although wasn’t used much, didn’t actually work. The furniture within the room is completely outdated and missing handles. The bedding didn't even have a quilt cover, just the quilt itself! The beach on the photos is deceiving as you can’t actually access it due to sticks and debris. The pool is okay and is as you expect, a little dirty in parts. The only good thing about this hotel is the laundry service as it is close and convenient but if needs be, there are laundry services everywhere, not worth staying here for.

Mr Blacks”
The hotel needs a bit of TLC but has character and the room was perfectly fine, clean and comfortable. The staff were superb, very friendly and helpful. One thing, the resort is not well known in Haad Rin as it recently changed it's name fom "Black and white cottages" song tau driver could not find it, took me half an hour of walking around asking people before I found it, tip, is just past Phangan Pearl hotel, more modern and bigger, taxi drivers should know where that is. Overall, I'd go there again, BUT, check if full moon party is close (if you're not going for that reason), as will send the price up. Plus, don't trust Agoda prices of their search screens, always more when you come to actually, and no, that is not just taxes.

Great spot, very quiet”
Nice spot right on the beach, extremely quiet but a short walk (2min) to Haadrin pier and surrounds. Pity you can’t swim in pool after 8pm as it was still hot. Good stay regardless

Great location ”
I stayed here for3 weeks in total. I had a lovely large room on the second floor with fabulous views over to Ko Samui. The bed was large and comfortable. The swimming pool was great. There are only 4 Sun beds so you might have to go to the beach if they are occupied. Would stay again.

The staff was unfriendly, the are room feels like cheap guest house, there is not twoels for the pool, only 1 twoel for bath. And they didn't clean the room. The location it's good, quite, but 3 min walk from the main chaweng beach

Great place to stay”
We enjoyed staying here. Booked for one night but ended up staying 3 more nights! Nice staff, close to Haad Rin pier, virtually around the corner and had bike rentals and we got a room right on the beach so was sweet for us!
