It is in a nice neighbourhood. Room is neat and tidy. Washroom decor is a little dated but functional. Sound proofing not so good but is acceptable. Hotel is undergoing some renovation. Air conditioning is working although the temperature outside is cooler at this time of the year. Room comes with buffet breakfast and I quite enjoy the spread. Reasonable distance to Rome Airport via Uber (approx 25 mins with no traffic).

We stayed for 2 nights. When we arrived for check in, there was construction however there is no staff or a sign guiding us where to enter. We were confused if we will go inside the entrance door to the restaurant since there was no signage that it was the same entrance to the reception area. After check in, we asked for some information on where is the nearest convenience store or supermarket in case we need to buy some things but the reception staff was not helpful. When we went inside our room, we saw very small cockroaches inside the bathroom, even on our second night, there were still small cockroaches. The heater in the bathroom was not working. We called them for assistance about our heater and the telephone operator just told us someone will go up in the morning to check, but nobody came until we checked out. While we were still sleeping in the room around 7:30am, a housekeeping staff just entered without even knocking the door and she said she was there to clean. I was so shocked because I woke up to her opening our door. Upon checking out, we asked for a taxi van to take us to the train station because we have a lot of big luggages. However, the taxi that arrived was a sedan. And he asked for extra money because we have many luggages. If it was a taxi van, that would not happen. Very poor service.

Location of the hotel is fairly convenient: 7-10 minutes from the nearest metro station and about 25-30 minutes slow walk to Vatican/Trastevere. Quite a number of trattorias and restaurants nearby. Amenities in the room were good with a coffee machine, tea, kettle, soap, bathing shampoo and foam. Only complaint was service level of staff. While checking in, staff was constantly distracted by other guests and even stopped while checking us in to tend to other guests.

Prati is a beautiful area to stay, connection with busses and metro are totally fine. The only negative is that the internet connection they offer for free is just for simple tasks. For videos and multimedia you have to pay extra. Which is quite a lot! Other than that, everything is great.
