Wish we could have stayed for another night. Breakfast was by far our favorite with our entire Switzerland trip.
A wonderful stay”
We very much enjoyed our short stay at the Novotel hotel. The soft bed was comfy and we found the design of the room thoughtful (e.g., there was a stand for our phones right next to the bed). Although there were not a lot of options at breakfast, the food was tasty and we were surprised that kids could have breakfast for free! What we loved the most was the staff. The kids were so happy when they each received a little hammerhead shark when we checked in. At one point, we thought we had to stay for another night due to an unexpected situation and the person at the reception was very understanding and helpful. In fact, all the staff members that we came across were friendly and seemed happy at work. For those of you who will be driving, we found it convenient to park our car at the hotel. It is not cheap (CHF 20+?) but that is true for other hotels as well. The one thing that was not so good was that the toilet was separate from the bathroom, so you need to go to the bathroom to wash your hands after using the toilet (and the toilet closet seemed to have poor ventilation). Other than that, our stay was perfect.
