Great resort”
Very nice views, isolated in the jungle, you find peace and calmness with all the comfort of this great You can walk to tea plantation, and other sites that are within the property limits. Restaurant menu is very good, with reasonable prices given the location and type of resort, of course the prices are higher than the average downtown restaurant, but you are in the middle of the jungle. One tip is to bring your own beers and drink them in the balcony, enjoying the valley views.

Lovely quiet eco resort”
We really enjoyed our stay at this quiet and carefully thought-out resort. Our son was really pleased to see the vegetable garden and some use of solar panels. Food at the restaurant was good and catered really well to vegetarians, and the staff were attentive and friendly, always going the extra mile despite being very busy most nights. The resort was beautiful and relaxing and had lovely views of the surrounding countryside. We had rented a car which allowed us to visit Chiang Rai and Mae Sai and still return to a peaceful place in the evening. Would come here again without hesitation.

Lovely time ”
I spent quite a relaxing time there. My purpose was not to do anything and just to read books or enjoy nature, which was achieved. The staffs were all kind and the meals I had there were all great. I love mocktails too. The spa was highly recommended. A quiet place and lots of bamboo stuff made me close to nature. Would love to revisit it again!

The highlight of our trip”
We were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I highly recommend it to people who enjoy nature and want a peaceful retreat. Rooms are nicely furnished and well isolated from one another, partly thanks to smart architecture and partly thanks to trees and plants that cover and hide them. There are plenty of hidden spots and passages throughout the gardens. It's very well maintained. Staff are nice and friendly. Food ranged from good to excellent: I love laarb, but had never tried "laarb kua". That's my new favorite. One of the things I liked the most is the hiking you can do there. There are several marked trails, ranging from 1km to ~6km, that go in the valley on dirt roads and paths. While 6km may not be enough for everyone, the marked trails only cover a small part of what's available. Fire up your favorite trail maps app and discover more trails! There's plenty to keep you busy for at least a few days.

Paradise in the North”
Phu Chaisai is by far the loveliest resort in northern Thailand. Set in the bamboo hills 40km north of Chiangrai it is not only perfectly romantic but also a great vantage point for visiting the tea and coffee plantations, Doi Tung palace and the Golden Triangle. A place built for wonderful memories.

Nice place with the best service”
All of the staff has the best service-minded, the room is very clean, the food was cooked with care and there are cute dogs and kitten here. By the way, travelling on this season is not quite good because of bad pollution. Even you are at the top of the mountain, you can still get the smoke from the bottom. It is just only one cons of this resort but it is not their fault.

My third visit over 25 years -- only gets better. Wonderful views, eco-friendly and boutique-quality rooms, excellent food and service, beautiful grounds, interested self-guided and guided treks, and now, the addition of a nearby coffee shop on yet another mountain top.

If you love nature, do by all means, go , this is a lovely place with lots of nature. The cabins with bamboo are very unique and invites a very warm feeling Beautiful surrounding. However, the veggies plants and herbs around the restaurant area can be managed better than the condition that they are in now. Staff are very good , always have a smile for you , always love the thai people Beautiful healthy breakfast, yummy yogurt and good jam Love this place, will come back again.

Chic, organic, socially concious bamboo resor in the prettiest part of Chiang Rai provine”
This would be the best place in the area, period, even if it didn't have the environmental, humanitarian, social-entreprise qualities that the whole project carries forward. It's at the centre of an extraordinarily scenic rewilding project, where permaculture farming practices are introduced, wildlife preservation and, crucially, hilltribe social engagement which promote economic growth with the local people, allowing direct interaction. At 40/50mins away max from every sightseeing spot in the region, including downton, this is the ideal base for a few days exploration of Chiang Rai. The decor is very elegant and the rooms large comfortable.

place for peaceful mind”
it's so peaceful with pure nature surrounding,good for calming ,to take a life break. the room is big ,clean , nice well designed, it is not kind of luxury place but can say that it is a Cosy with nature touch. the food in the restaurant is delicious,we try it because it is not easy to go outside at night. the road to resort is quite rough and dark. Overall , very good nice choice for accommodation in mae-chan Chiang Rai.

Exquisite Property”
This is the nicest place I've stayed at in Thailand. The rooms are private with stunning views. Every inch of the sprawling resort is thought through and beautiful. Great staff. There is nothing near this facility (other than a few other resorts), so it's an effort to do anything off site. This means you'll likely be eating at the restaurant. The good news is that the restaurant and breakfast amazing. If you want a peaceful retreat in the mountains, you won't be disappointed. The prices are a bit high by Thai standards, but reasonable by Western standards - it seems fairly priced considering what a special place this is.

The resort even has a free trekking guide named Bonbon...Yes, a female Great Pyrenees who is adorable and keen to walk with you along the way...and, the treats for her are just some crackers! Not too far from the airport (30 min drive). Beautiful views, quiet, building structures blend nicely with the natural surroundings, and really friendly cats!
